Chapter 83. Trying to fight blessing
Duke Geraldine was walking through the hallway to Liliana's room which had been moved to Adaire's room. Inside the room, a fake Liliana was pacing back and forth.
"It's late, why haven't your majesty and Miss Liliana returned yet? Are they trying to kill me? The magic will soon be wiped out, this alone has begun to fade.." False Liliana looked at her smooth legs already there were fine hairs coming out from her original body.
He started to fret, afraid that Duke Geraldine or the other people in the mansion would know about this disguise.

Liliana fake aka Adrian choked to hear the sound of the door being knocked. He misbehaved and moved around.
"God! Who's that?" Liliana's reflex spirited Adriana jumps on the bed with her bare feet. She lifted her dress, her face panicked.
"Liliana, are you inside, son? This is my father, Duke Geraldine said from behind his son's bedroom door.
"Yes Dad.." Unknowingly the voice of the fake Liliana blared.
"Lily, why is there a male voice in your room?" duke Geraldine asked in a sharp voice.
Holy hooch! Without me noticing my real voice had started to come out, meaning that this magic would have faded away and I would have been caught.
False Liliana panicked, she tried to use the real Liliana voice. "Yes. father.there is no one here" replied Adrian in a soft voice.

"Dad's going in?" Duke Geraldine was already holding the doorknob and preparing to open the door of the room.
"Wait for me. I'm getting dressed!" False Liliana exclaimed at Duke Geraldine. False Liliana panicked, she was confused and afraid of facing off against that sword master.
Duke Geraldine fell silent, she felt something strange about Liliana. Without speaking, he opened the door to the room. False Liliana was sitting by the window wearing a scarf on her body.

Duke Geraldine looked at the fake Liliana with a sharp look and a frowned.

"Show me your true form before I take it apart!" duke Geraldine said while pointing a sword at Adrian's neck which is still Liliana.
He said I wouldn't get caught, but I got caught, too. Die me!
Adrian has no choice but to show his true self. The magic Max had placed on him had also faded.
Duke Geraldine stared angrily at Adrian who had disguised himself as his daughter. "You! Where's the crown prince? Where'd he take my daughter?" ask Duke Geraldine.
"That's me. don't know." said Adrian, lowering his head. "I'm sorry, Your Honor, Duke" Adrian said on his knees apologizing to Duke Geraldine for lying to him.

Duke Geraldine was speechless with her sinister face. He also lowered his sword. Shortly after, Liliana and Max appear through the window.
They were shocked to see Duke Geraldine and Adrian in the room at the same time.

"Duke, I can explain.." Max tried to talk to the angry man.

Duke Geraldine slaps his daughter in front of Max and Adrian. The two men were stunned by the duke Geraldine's behavior towards his daughter.
Liliana held onto her cheek that had just been slapped by Duke Geraldine, her father.
"I warned you Lily, it's for your own good!" Duke Geraldine exclaimed as she looked at her son guiltily.
"Duke Geraldine! Why did you slap him?" Max is visibly upset when Duke Geraldine slaps the woman he loves.
"Your Majesty, this is no noble business. You better get out of this house." Duke Geraldine blatantly kicked Max out of there. No matter Max's status as crown prince.
Max is heartbroken to see the woman he loves being slapped by his own father. "I'm leaving, but you can't hurt her!" Max sees Liliana with pity. The girl was about to cry, she turned her face away from Max.
"It's none of your business" Duke Geraldine said, staring intently at Max.
"Duke, I'll talk to you later."
"Bring also your noble guard knights. Here are many kstaria who can take care of my son!" Duke Geraldine said firmly.

"Dad, please give us our blessing.Give us a chance," Liliana said, pleading with Duke Geraldine.
"No Adaire," Duke Geraldine replied firmly. He still does not want to give the opportunity let alone the blessing on the relationship Max and Liliana.
