Chapter 3. Second chance

Adaire drowned in a sea where the waves were big. Her body was drifting in waves, before her last breath, before she closed her eyes, Adaire noticed her husband and sister were hugging happily to her death.

Lord..Why are you so cruel to me? Why would I die like this?

Adaire died in a state of heartache.

The blinding rays of the sun made a beautiful, red-haired girl wake up from her fainting. The red-haired girl spewed out a lot of water, her body and hair were also wet.

Shortly after the woman yelled at him asking to leave, suddenly some big men brought the red-haired beautiful girl by force. "Hey! What do you want? Unhand me! How dare you touch me like this!" Shouted Liliana aka Adaire angry.

Why is my voice so much smoother? Why does my body feel lighter? And why are my hands shrinking?. Liliana felt a strangeness on her body, before she had always felt heavy with her own body.

"Only the son of fishermen and low-key gamblers, how dare to speak rudely!" one of the men said to Liliana.

"Fisherman's son? A gambler? Who do you mean?" liliana asked puzzledly, looking at the men who caught her.

It's too real to be a dream, it's not heaven. Am I coming back to life?

"Hurry up and bring him! Madam Morena must have been waiting for this good item!" Said a man with a mustache while smiling.

One of the men smothered his mouth with his hands, and beat Liliana unconscious. The girl woke up in a luxurious and low-light room.

"Uh.. My head hurts so much, actually what happened? Why me.." Liliana looked at her small and slender hands, her nails were also beautiful, her hair was long in red. "My hands are small, my nails are beautiful too? My body feels light, who is this! This is definitely not my body!" Liliana aka Adaire panicked because she felt the body shrink and light.

Liliana stepped towards the door, she heard the talk of some people there. When the men were about to open the door of the room where Liliana was, Liliana immediately pretended to be asleep in bed. A woman with a menor dress up and two men who captured Liliana entered the room.

I need to know where I am, who I am, and who these people are. Liliana pretended to be asleep, she had many questions in her head.

"How's madam? Good stuff, right?" asked the man with his sneaky smile, he stared flirtatiously at the sleeping Liliana.

I got a second chance to live, I can't waste it. I gotta get out of here!

"Not smart enough, but I'm smart!" Madam Morena smiled broadly. He approached Liliana and held her face."With your beauty, you'll be a prima donna in this place, your name is Liliana huh?" Madam Morena held onto Liliana's chin, she was impressed by the pretty face the girl had.

"Well, Lily, do you know what you're doing here?" ask Morena.

"I don't know," Liliana replied with an innocent feigned face.

"You're gonna get paid a lot, just have to go with a rich guy tonight. If you try to get out of here, I'll make you unable to use your legs and arms anymore. Do you understand, Lily?" Madam Morena smiled, but her eyes stared intently and threatened Liliana.

Not long after that there was a commotion outside, there was the sound of people running around."Don't escape! You're surrounded!"

Liliana gasped in shock at the sound of the noise. He tried to escape from there. "Miss, do you want to run away?"

"It's none of your business!" Liliana ketus's.

"If you don't want to get caught, come with me!" The man held Liliana by force. He brought Liliana out of that place through the window.

Liliana was surprised that the man could jump from the 3rd floor, carrying her safely.

"You're crazy! We could have died!" Liliana's grumpy.

"But we're not dead, are we? I saved you, won't you thank me?" ask the masked man.

True too, if I had not been taken away by him, I would have been arrested by the government bodyguard.

"You got a mirror, don't you?" ask Liliana with a thin tone.

"Mirror?" The masked man gave Liliana a small mirror. Quickly the girl looked in the mirror and saw his face.

As Madam Morena said, I am indeed very beautiful.

"Good, I'm really pretty! I will change my destiny as an ugly girl!" Liliana was fascinated by her own face.

Adara, Arsen, you wait!

Liliana thanked the masked man and gave the mirror back to its owner. "I hope we will never meet again the strange masked master," Liliana said in a stern tone.

The woman just left the masked man there alone. Shortly after, a few well-dressed men saluted him.

The man opened his mask, looking his handsome face with dazzling black hair. "Good work,"
