I don't want you to torture yourself with revenge" explains Max, who wants to make Liliana more trusting and open to him.
Liliana fell silent while crying without a sound. Max's hand wiped the tears slowly, though Liliana turned her face away as if giving a rejection.
Why don't I refuse the kiss? Do I love Eugene? Liliana thought hard.
The red-haired girl turned her head and looked up at Max without a word.
"Let me join your revenge plan. I want to help you." said Max firmly.
I can't let you get hurt alone anymore.
"You can't, this has nothing to do with you," Liliana flatly refused.
"Oh, of course there is. It's because I love you and I'm the one you love" Max said confidently as he rubbed the ointment on Liliana's neck gently.
"You're so narcissistic, stop all this! I'll treat myself" said the girl.
