Chapters 87. Challenging the King
The thing Duke Geraldine alluded to about the past was about her brother who used to be Queen of the Istvan kingdom for several days, she married King Alberto's older brother, the king of the present Istvan kingdom.
King Alberto removed the previous King and Queen to obtain the throne of the Istvan kingdom. Both of them died in the poison in their own rooms. But when King Alberto ascended to the throne, no one opposed him for fear of his authority and power.
From then on Duke Geraldine did not want to have a close relationship with the royal family. Although he did not have a grudge against the royal family, but he did not want to repeat the past. If Liliana were to enter the royal family, she was afraid that the girl would be harmed just like her older sister who used to be queen.

"Are you aware of what you just said to Duke Geraldine? Your words could trigger an internal war in this kingdom!" The Queen shouted firmly. "How dare a Duke sue the royal family?! You're not afraid of dying?" The Queen snickered in the direction of Duke Geraldine.
"Duke Geraldine, we can talk about it. You don't have to do all this. I will investigate your daughter's death fully and fairly! I promise this throne of the kingdom even for my life." said the King earnestly wanted to help Duke Geraldine.
"I'm sorry, but I can't trust the King" said the man, who recently lost his daughter
"How dare you.." The queen raising her shoulders, she stared intently at Duke Geraldine.
"Queen, stop! Do not add oil to the fire. You just shut up!" exclaimed the King to his Queen who had earlier spoken.
"But his Majesty the King, he's already-"
The king raised his hand to the Queen, "I told you to shut up!"
The Queen was speechless with a restraining upset, she felt lately the King's attitude began to change to her. Not as gentle as before, has her affection diminished or has another woman entered her heart?
Queen Freya was jealous for no apparent reason and no matter who, she felt that the King was no longer in love with her. He was negatively thinking to himself about the King's current attitude.
"Vlad, we can talk this through without any bloodshed."
"Talk well?" Duke Geraldine looked up at the King.
"I'll try to help your daughter. Grand priest, we're looking for his whereabouts." King Alberto said as he looked at the man.
Duke Geraldine was speechless with a frustrated face. She had already lost Adaire, now she also lost her again as Liliana. The man continued to sigh while crying over his daughter.
"While waiting for the high priest, let your daughter be here." said the King firmly.
"Well, I'll give you one last chance to save my daughter!" Duke Geraldine.
The King and Queen came out of the room and headed back to their palace. On the way to the palace of the King and Queen.
"Your highness, what noble is sure to call the grand priest just for the Duke's daughter?" The Queen asked, holding the King's hand.
"Why Queen? Do you think my decision was wrong?" The King asked while looking at his Queen.
"Your majesty, I don't say that. I just want to say, is it reasonable to call the high priest in favor of the daughter of the Duke family whose status is far from ours?" ask the real Queen who doesn't like it if Liliana survives.
"Of course it makes sense. The Geraldine family was a big supporter of this kingdom, the only sword master from that family. And Queen, don't you forget that me and Geraldine's family were once related!" The King shouted firmly.
The king left the Queen alone. The Queen was visibly upset that she now had trouble influencing the King.
"God! Really upsetting, why is that old man so hard to influence now? If he had called the high priest to heal the girl, no, the girl was dead, the dead would not have returned..." Queenes shakes.
I'd better meet the lady before she's found by the cocky boy.
"My honor, Queen," said the black-haired lady, bowing her body.
"I told you to harm him but you killed him instead" the Queen shook her head, crossing her chest hands.
"A-What? Her Majesty the Queen, is the girl dead?" asked Dayang who did not know that the girl he pushed into the lake was dead.
"True, he's dead.."
"Did I still get my glorious reward?" Ask Dayang for money.
"Of course you can" said Queen Freya with a smile, she took a bag of gold. Then give it to the lady.

Not yet finished refining his speech, a sword stuck into his body. He was stabbed in the back by the Queen's personal bodyguard.
Blood poured out of his mouth and body. "Ohokay... Ohok..."
"You are in return, yes this is your reward." said the Queen with a grin looking at the lady at the end of her life.
Behind the Queen, there was Kyle who also showed the same smile. "You are why.Her Majesty the Queen...Ohok.."
"There's no point in living, you'd rather die." Queen Freya did not want to let the risk of her crimes exposed. He removed the trail by killing the lady.
"Your highness...Ohoks...Ohok.."
The dayang, whose identity is unknown, was abandoned after Kyle turned off that he was dead. Without the two of them noticing, there was a person with a black hood approaching the unconscious lady-in-waiting with that bloody drenches.
"He's alive" murmured the black-clad man while checking the blood flow in the body of the lady with her magic.

After listening to Keira, Shopia and Arina's testimony, Max immediately mobilizes people to look for the lady who was mentioned by the three noble ladies as the perpetrator who had caused Liliana to die.
Max's condition becomes a drop, he doesn't know what to do. Today is his nightmare, Max still can't believe that Liliana is gone.
That night he went to the room where Liliana was lying. There was a guard from Duke Geraldine's residence who wouldn't let him in.
"How dare you forbid the crown prince to enter this room, are you looking to die?" Adrian asked the knights of Duke Geraldine who stood at the door.
"Pardon us, your majesty, we're just doing our job!" Said a kstaria while bowing her head.
"But you've already challenged the crown prince!" Adrian exclaimed furiously at those who were watching.
"Adrian, never mind.they just run errands," said Max with a pale and flat face. "I beg of you, let me enter this room. I promise you, Duke won't know, as long as you don't tell him this" Max begged those lower than him. Max clenched his hands together, with sad eyes he begged.
"Your majesty, you don't have to beg like this." said the kstaria felt bad.
Finally they opened the way for Max to enter the room. He approached Liliana sadly.
"I'm coming Lily.." Max held the woman's hand.
