Chapter 38. Victim's Playing
The guards intended to drag Daisy, Liliana and Adrian as Liliana's kstaria roughly. Adrian did not just stand still, he pointed his sword at the people in the house bravely.
"If you dare touch my lady! I'll face you!" Adrian looked at the guards at the residence with sharp eyes.
Although I must risk my life, I must not allow them to injure a future queen! If they touch Miss Liliana, then my fate will not end either in the hands of the noble crown prince.
"Capture them and take them to prison!" Shouted Adara commanding the bodyguard.
"Good!" the guards were obedient, they approached Liliana and intended to hold her hand. Adrian prevents the guards from reaching Liliana and Daisy.
"Stop there! No one can touch the lady!" Adrian shouted at the guards.
They hesitated to attack Adrian, because they knew Adrian's identity as a knight of the Black Knight under the crown prince was no ordinary kstaria. But one of the strong knights in the kingdom.
The situation there became tense because of the incident made by Adara. The drama he made to trap Liliana, was very obvious. Liliana/Aaire was no longer surprised by the behavior of Adara who even dared to kill him. Things like this might be easy for him, especially for a drama queen like her.
"Sir Adrian, it's okay to lower your sword" Liliana said in a low voice commanding Adrian to lower his sword.
"Miss...what do you mean?" Adrian confused.
"I said, put down your sword!" Liliana on Adrian.
Adrian has no choice but to obey, he is there and ordered by Max to obey Liliana's orders. The black knight lowered his sword, a sign that there was no more threat. "Thank you sir Adrian" Liliana said with a smile on Adrian.
Liliana stared intently at Adara, then she smiled grinning. He did not want to show his fear to Adara.
Why can he still smile like that? Adara was flabbergasted to see Liliana's trust that was not easily broken by her. She wanted to see the girl cry because she had already fought him, but Liliana could still smile confidently.
Adara, so you want to repay me? Well then, I'm looking forward to what you'll do next. I will repay all your kindness many times over. Liliana clenched her hands in a frenzy.
"Miss Adara!"
"What?"
"You can put me in jail, but you can't drag a black knight from the palace to get into the prison" Liliana said, glancing at Adrian.
"Yes, you're right. I can't catch him. Because he's innocent and you're the one who stole this necklace!" Adara smiled sinisterly while holding the red diamond necklace.
"Yes, so I'm the only one who has to go to jail. Sir Adrian and Daisy, they stay here" he said firmly, he wanted to protect Daisy and Adrian.
"Miss you-" Daisy looked at Liliana with a teary look.
"Daisy, you need to stay here." Liliana held Daisy's hand, looking at the middle-aged woman warmly. Liliana whispered something to Daisy, not knowing what she whispered. Daisy just nodded.
I don't know what else Adara's scheming is going to do for me. Therefore, I cannot involve Daisy and sir Adrian. This is my revenge, I must finish it myself.
Liliana gave herself up to be arrested by the guards in her own home. He felt ironic and moved by the guards who had sided with Adara. "Miss!" Adrian sees Liliana sadly, he wants to fight the people who captured the girl, but he also can't go against Liliana's orders.
"Don't worry, just take care of yourself and please take care of Daisy for me. This is my order, sir Adrian!" liliana told Adrian.
"Well, miss," replied Adrian.
I must report this to your Majesty immediately, he said in a determined heart.
"Don't misunderstand Miss Adara, I'm willing to be arrested not because I admit to being wrong, I just let you enjoy a little victory," Liliana smiled sarcastically, she whispered to the blonde woman.
"Bad you!" Jerk Adara who is always emotional when facing Liliana.
"I look forward to what you will do next" Liliana said defiantly.
"Well, rot was in prison! Because my father and husband won't come to help you" Adara felt like she was going to win.
"Let's see who Goddess Fortuna will side with" Liliana said confidently. For those who get a second chance, life and time are very valuable.
"Don't be arrogant!" Adara exclaimed with a grin.
Liliana is dragged to a dungeon in her own home, a prison that was actually devoted to imprisoning criminals with fatal mistakes. Liliana's hands are in chains by a strong chain.
She was in the same cell as Miley, she wasn't dead, but she was alive. "Hello Miley," Liliana said to the shabby-looking woman, she smiled kindly.
"No-nona Liliana? How did you get here?" ask Miley in astonishment. Both of Miley's hands were tied in chains, and even her legs were injured and bleeding.
"Why do you think? Of course I was framed just like you," he replied casually.
"Did Miss Adara do it?" miley asked in a slightly raised voice. Anger was seen in his eyes as he remembered Adara.
"True, she accused me of stealing the necklace.I don't know why she did this," Liliana said, she cried bitterly.
Miley felt sorry to see Liliana, she said she was sorry because she had hurt Liliana before. "It's okay, I don't like everyone no matter where I am. But I wonder, you are the loyal servant of Miss Adara.Why does Miss Adara not defend you? He should have defended his confidant, how could he be like that?"
Miley was heartbroken to hear the provocation from Liliana. Finally he opened his mouth, that it was Adara who asked him to poison the bathtub, Liliana pretended to be surprised. "I can't believe it, why does he hate me so much? Oh my God. What's my fault? Hicks.hiks.."
"Miss, this is not the fault of Miss. This is one of Miss Adara who always envied others, back when Miss Adaire was still alive.she also always envied him!" Miley began to open the ugliness of Adara one by one on people she considered allies and had the same fate as herself.
Miss Adara, I hate her so much! I won't protect you anymore.
"really? To Miss Adaire too? Can you tell me what he did to Miss Adaire?" Liliana stared roundly at Miley, pretending as if she knew nothing.
Miley tells Liliana all of Adara's past crimes to Adaire. Liliana listened to Miley as if she was a good listener. "I can't believe Miss Adara would do such a thing. Then why don't you tell her Mr. Duke?"
"That's because my life and my family depend on Miss Adara" Miley said. "I also just realized that it turns out that Miss Adaire was very good to me, but I always did evil to her," he said regretfully.
You're sorry Miley? But unfortunately you're late, I don't want to accept your regret, I'll make you suffer.

That night a bodyguard from Geraldine's house came to a camp a short distance from Duke Geraldine's residence. He gave a letter to a man who was on his duty. "Mr Count, there's a letter for you from Miss Liliana's servant!"
"Servant?" the man looked up.
The man with the title count opened the letter and then read it. "Air? What are you doing?" He looked angry after reading it.
