The Two Empresses

The Two Empresses
Deus Ex Machina and Truth

Jegudiel laughed loudly and set his foot on the ground, a triumphant smile not missing from his handsome face. He made a huge ball of light in his left hand and stared intently at Saciel.

"You know we're more dangerous than you, Saciel. Just because you're a hero doesn't mean you're the strongest, right?" insinuations. Saciel only sighed and stood behind Phillip, leaving Jegudiel astonished at his behavior. "What the fuck?"

"I'm sorry, I'm still healing. So allow my subordinates to come forward in my stead," Saciel replied in her weak style. Max and Nero were astonished, but Phillip paled.

"You serious? And you just challenged him and you intend to put his face on the ground" asked Phillip.

"Not pretend to be weak and fight him. You want my wound open?" reply Saciel kalem.

"What the fuck? Your wounds are completely covered, use all ridiculous reasons. Yes, for your sake, what the hell is not?"

"You guys dating?" max asked, his face a little upset.

"No" both answered firmly. Phillip pulled his rapier and pointed it at Jegudiel.

"How dare he point a weapon at Mr. Jegudiel!" maki one of flugel.

"She showed off her fangs, why can't I? I might face an armed man with my bare hands. Your brain's short?" philip Syndicate. The flugel could only screech and retreat, watching around with their magic.

"Only useless insects dare to challenge me" said Jegudiel.

"But these insects can make you sick" Phillip said arrogantly.

"I'll make you shut your cocky mouth!" he threw the ball of light. Phillip quickly stepped forward and threw it all the way with just his rapier, hitting a big tree in the middle of the island. "Heh, you're good."

"Thank you for the compliment. But it's nothing."

"What does that mean?" ask Kezia.

"There's still something more terrifying than that" Max said. Saciel frowned, but did not say a word and focused on the fight in plain sight. "But we spend a lot of time."

"...you're right. Phillip, finish him off in one strike!" saciel's Saut. Phillip nodded and improved his posture.

"Sorry, I have to hurry or Saciel kills me" Phillip muttered as he stuck his rapier. Slowly his rapier let out a flash of lightning and the sky went back overcast as it was against Max. Jegudiel flinched and darted towards him, but Phillip was faster. He struck his rapier with a giant hammer made of lightning. The island is now covered with lightning and all of the flugel sprawled, not least Jegudiel. Luckily Saciel moved quickly to make a shield so that Phillip's attack did not hit them.

"Nobody moves. His lightning can last a long time according to the wishes of the controller. You don't want to be sprawled, do you?" Saciel.

"Wow, Phillip nii is cool," praised Kezia with sparkling eyes. Phillip just smiled, his body shrouded in lightning that swerved like a snake.

"Man! How dare you attack Avant Heim!" someone's thunder. The island shook violently, making the lightning slowly disappear. Suddenly a gigantic figure descended with a powerful aura, anger painted on his face. "You have no shame!"

"We have no shame because your creation attacked first!" saciel's Saut. Phillip immediately retreated and stood in front of Max.

"Who is that big guy? It's just like a god" chirped Max.

"He is a god, a wild dog. Deus Ex Machina" Saciel replied with a death glance. The three-fold man was holding a trident, his clothes unable to cover the muscles that adorned his body. A pair of dark purple-colored eyes showed no warmth, only hollow and cold.

"It turns out you, you rancid boy. Last time I met you you were a kid, like a peanut."

"Yes, whatever you say, Your Majesty. I demand justice here. She," he said, pointing at Jegudiel, "just plainly challenged me just because I came. I'm just here to look for my family's legacy."

"...no flugel no gods, same bastard huh?" maki Saciel. Deus Ex Machina was shocked, his face was flushed red and directed his trident right in front of him.

"You don't know yourself. How dare you insult me!" gertak Deus Ex Machina's. Saciel just tilted his head with a tired face, as if he could not stand his behavior.

"Can I just fight for today? Why does every journey I have to end up in an endless feud? What god of war am I?" lamented Saciel.

"If only you could control your mouth, no one would ask you to duel."

"Your thinking is colossal. Everyone has the right to argue, not be silenced."

"Nee," Kezia's great-grandson.

"This old master" lamented Nero. Deus Ex Machina glanced at his group, then back at Saciel. He paused for a moment, then pulled back his trident.

"Because of Jegudiel's mistake, you and your friends can stay here as long as possible" Deus Ex Machina said. Saciel laughed out loud, making the god wonder at his behavior.

"Don't I tell you we just came to take my family's inheritance? Why am I spending too much time here? A long journey awaits me," he replied interspersed with laughter that could not stop.

'Why is this kid looking for that thing? What is this...related to the prophecy?' inner Deus Ex Machina. "Son, tell me why do you want to bother looking for the stuff your grandfather threw away?"

"I want to stop the mess in Careol, that's all, '" she replied. Deus Ex Machina gaped, but turned into a booming laugh and shocked the entire creature in Avant Heim.

"You really are the offspring of that man. Therefore, I will give you half the map that was lost" Deus Ex Machina said, taking a piece of worn paper in Jegudiel's hand and handing it over to Saciel. "Hopefully lucky."

"Thank you," Saciel replied as she accepted with a smile and matched it with the map she was carrying. "Suit it!"

"...but somehow this map..more similar to the map in one of the Ceshier regions?" chirp Nero as he looked at the map that had just been successfully put together.

"Ah, this is in the Black Pearl producing area!" chirp Kezia after peeking at the map. "Lumos Village!"

"...how did grandfather get into enemy territory? Once entered with magic will be caught immediately," murmured Saciel.

"Help from the gods, boy. I remember once he came to one of the gods in Respher and begged to enter Ceshier's territory" Deus Ex Machina said.

"Who? Who is that god?" ask Saciel quickly.

"...You know him, son. The god you always worship and also the ruler of all the gods" he said. Saciel paused for a moment and realized something that he thought was impossible.

"No, no way! Oorun doesn't exist in this world!" saciel's Saut. "He doesn't exist!"

"If you consider it non-existent, what am I in front of you?" deus asked with a cold look. "Our existence is real, so never doubt it."

"But we have never seen his face and there is no literature that discusses it for real" Phillip said.

"Not seeing does not mean not being. You're too arrogant just because you're strong" Deus said. Everyone fell silent and lowered their heads, not daring to look at the authoritative god.

"How can we meet him?" chirps Max. Deus turned to her and frowned.

"Son, you have the key to go to your own territory. What did you see Oorun for?"
