The Two Empresses

The Two Empresses
Portals and Attacks

Loreta Beach

The representatives of the 7 Eternal Wizards were now setting foot on the pink sand while staring at the magic portal in front of them. Ilmol who had just seen him for the first time was plagued by high curiosity.

"Where is this mortal headed?" tanyakanya.

"It is definitely not a safe place for us, so stay away from it" Lao said. He came forward and tried to touch her, but got a rejection reaction until her hand was badly injured.

"Aah?!" jeremy Ilmol.

"It's okay, it's just a burn" he said. He took out a pair of gloves and put them on.

"Don't you cure him first?" ask Vristhi.

"If it's just an ordinary wound I can heal it, but it's a black magic wound. It'll be harder to cure."

"Then what are we going to do now?" ask Ilmol. Lao paused for a moment, then picked up a leaf and turned it into a puppet.

"I want to know what's behind this portal" Lao said. The puppet moved quickly and entered through the portal. "Well, now we can just wait."

"What if we fight first? I see a beautiful girl here," Dark said as he pulled out a sword from its sheath. Ilmol immediately stood before him with a dual sword in both hands. "Oh? You're from the Phoenix family, right? Have they changed the tradition?"

"I have no obligation to answer" Ilmol replied as he mounted the horses. Dark laughed loudly and put on as cold a face as possible.

"You're so arrogant. I wish I could cut off your tongue right now" Dark replied. Ilmol charged forward and swung his sword, but Dark managed to fend off and kick Ilmol as far as possible. "Lumayan. But it's far from my standard."

"What standard?" ask Ilmol.

"Standard to be my wife. You're still far below Saciel" Dark replied with a horrible grin. Ilmol shuddered to hear it. Vristhi patted Ilmol on the shoulder and raised her hand, calling out to the undead from under the sand. "Oh, necromancers! Interesting, interesting!"

"Shut up, traitor. People like you deserve to die as your penance" Vristhi said. Dark laughed so hard that he fell because his stomach hurt.

"Duh, belly. Haa, you are really very dangerous. I won't budge just because you're women. Hey, Lao! Why did you let them fight me, while you stood there like a statue, huh?!"

Lao did not crush him, but merely clasped his spear tightly. Ilmol again advanced and attacked, followed by Vristhi's undead as bait. Dark was able to curl and slash undead easily, while his sword clashed against Ilmol's. Occasional kicks, punches, elbow and magic contribute to the attack. Vristhi called back the undead, this time calling the undead beasts.

"Well! Ancient trick!" dark sahut while burning the undead with a tongue of fire in black. "I'm stronger than you."

"Okay, I'm not sure" said Vristhi. "Supremey."

Dark's movements came to a complete halt, but only his eyeballs could still move. Although he forced himself to move, his body was unwilling to comply with his wishes. The sword he had in his hand was simply released, as if his body was under control.

"It's..the spell you did to me, isn't it?" chirps Ilmol. Vristhi just kept quiet and monitored the situation. Lao moved forward and stood before Dark with a cold emotion.

"Death," whispered Lao as he prepared to drop the spear. Suddenly an arrow pointed towards Laos, making him retreat and look for the mastermind. "Show yourself!"

There's no one in that place. Only them. Lao tried to look around, but could not find what he was looking for. "Is there another magic portal?"

"No, there is only 1," said Ilmol while confirming the portal. He was shocked to death when someone walked out of the portal and dragged Lao's blood-soaked puppet. "You..."

"Not bad for a leader" he said in a heavy and low voice. "Hm? Only three?"

"...who are you?" ask Lao.

"I? Hmm, tough question. But please just think of me as a friend of the people there," he replied while pointing at Dark who was still stiff. Lao remained silent, occasionally checking on his collapsed and severely injured comrades. "How dare your eyes turn away from me."

"Well, are you offended?" asked Lao while pulling his spear. The hooded man tilted his head slightly and pulled out a large sword from behind his hood. "There seems to be a lot of empty space behind your hood?"

"That's how it is" he answered bored. He charged forward and swung his sword, making Lao have to twitch before dying split in two. He attacked again with his sword, but Lao again twitched and kicked him. The hooded man clutched his collar and tried to slam him, but failed. Lao took a distance of several meters with a stupefied breath. "Teleportation huh?"

Lao was silent, making the hooded man annoyed and went back against him. Attack after attack was launched, but only a battle of strength. None of the attacks contained magic. Lao leapt back and threw his spear and was successfully fended off by his opponent. Not only that, Lao threw sand to obscure the view, but he did not expect that the hood covered almost all of his face. A crushing blow managed to land on Lao's stomach until he bounced.

"Hm, just this much of your strength? I thought it would be as strong as anything, but it turned out to be very weak. Weaker than a baby," despise the hooded man. He did not realize Ilmol was already behind him and was ready to slash. Without hesitation Ilmol slashed at the person, but his slash was not deep and only managed to injure his back. The hooded man was surprised and tried to kick, but Ilmol was able to twitch and injure the man on his arm.

"Oh? I think you're starting to attack, hm?"

"I should not be underestimated by you" replied Ilmol. The man laughed and flashed his demonic smile.

"intriguing. Show me what you have behind your fragile body."

While Ilmol and the hooded man fight each other with weapons, Lao tries to get up to approach Vristhi who is still severely injured and unconscious, but his body refuses to move. With all his strength, he healed him from a considerable distance. Vristhi slowly opened her eyes and found Lao's figure starting to pale. He stared at the spear that pierced through his stomach with a blank look, then pulled it with all his might to the point of being uprooted and began to self-heal. He got up close to Lao and placed his head on his lap.

"You..the poisoning?" ask Vristhi. Lao chuckled and took off his gloves, showing off his injured hand. But surprisingly, the wound even spread to his arm like poison. "Black magic poison."

"Which path is mine is dirty, Vristhi. I need to fix it before I die."

"Don't expect you to die here, asshole. I won't let it go" Vristhi said as she bit her lower lip. Lao gave a smile and stroked his head.

"Fokus please Ilmol now" he said. Vristhi was speechless, but eventually nodded and put Lao down slowly. He walked forward and took out a large coffin with a flash of anger that he never showed.

"Ilmol, retreat. That person will fight me," Vristhi said firmly. Ilmol flinched and retreated, while Vristhi opened the coffin. The contents made Ilmol shocked half to death.

"Miss, that..."

"Be quiet. I will bear it," Vristhi cut off while awakening the race of Draco who fell asleep eternally in his coffin. The draco opened his eyes and slowly crept out, looking at Vristhi with a flash of hatred.

"Fucking necromancer. You intend to use my body for your benefit?" tanyakanya.

"of course. You don't have a choice, do you?" reply Vrishi cold. The Draco race did not retaliate, he immediately lunged and attacked the hooded man until he was a little desperate. "Ilmol, go home and take Lao to the Arakawa residence."

"Miss Vristhi, what about you?" ask Ilmol worriedly.

"Stop calling me Miss. I'll be fine, you take care of Lao enough" Vristhi replied. Ilmol was about to make a sound, but he pressed back because Vristhi's decision was already unanimous. He helps Lao to stand up and teleport, leaving Vristhi still standing firmly on the battlefield. A tear ran down his cheek.

"I will not let you die, even if I have to sacrifice my life. Ah yes, why don't you use it too?" lirih. His hands began to move, as did Dark who was still in his control.

"On behalf of the 7 Eternal Wizards, I Vristhi Rosemary will swear to defeat you, despite having to risk my life!"
