A few shrill sirens heard the words from Saciel's lips, not the least of which was angered by the challenge. Saciel returned to walk, this time quite close to the siren herd. With a single blow he managed to stab the siren under his feet and throw it on the beach.
"Heh, seriously this is just your ability?" saciel Syndicate. Screeching sounds were heard again, this time they were ready to attack. One of the sirens started singing, trying to hypnotize him. "Your songs are worse than fairies."
Humiliated by his insults, one of the sirens began to attack ferociously and scratched a 5-centimeter deep wound on Saciel's face.
"How dare you hurt my face" Saciel said. He raised his spear again and stuck it in the head of the siren with a sadistic look, making Nero who saw it from a distance frightened.
"He..gruesome," murmured Nero. He was unconscious Max slowly woke up and began to search with just a glance.
"Ngh, Saciel?" call lirih. Nero flinched and turned his head, then immediately approached him.
"Hey, bro. You okay?" ask Nero. Max just nodded faintly and continued to call out to Saciel. "...he was fishing."
"Uhuk, oh," Max replied softly. Nero sighed and went back to watching Saciel's actions that were far from his shadow. Slowly Saciel returned with a siren corpse in his hand with a blank look. He threw the corpse over the corpse earlier.
"Oi, you're not seriously eating it, are you?" ask Nero carefully.
"Why not? I'm upset and hungry, and the only foodstuff available is yes" Saciel replied as she prepared the campfire.
"Attep, oi! They're poisonous" Nero said out of patience. "If you want to die, die alone!"
"I can cultivate it, no need to fear," Saciel replied. He grabbed a small knife from Max's pocket, but gasped when Max's hand held him. "Aah?"
"Ja.ngan," said Max. Saciel was silent for a moment, then put Max's hand away with a single jolt.
"You don't have to worry. Your time to die is still a long way off" Saciel said coldly. He returned to the siren corpse and slowly skinned it, causing Nero to vomit. Max got up to his feet and with the rest of his strength he held down Saciel and hugged her tightly.
"Conscious, you are under the influence of siren singing" whispered Max. Saciel fell silent, winked repeatedly and his gaze began to return to normal.
"Ah? What..what am I doing?" ask Saciel lirih. He looked at his bloodied hand with deep confusion. "... what the fuck is this?"
"...you want to eat the siren meat" said Nero while wiping his lips. Saciel gasped and threw the knife in his hand as far as possible.
"No! No!" hysterical screams. Max hugged her again and whispered sedative words until the red-haired girl calmed down.
"Smart. Now get away from the carcass," Max said as he carried it away step by step. Once far enough away he coded Nero to dump his carcass into the ocean.
"Ngh, why are you helping me?" ask Saciel lirih.
"Because I saw you getting so insane, I helped you," Max replied, trying to make up for his shortcomings. "The siren is not edible, even if you think there must still be residual poison left."
Saciel fell silent, trying to calm himself down by breathing as deeply as he could. He did not expect the power of the siren to be able to penetrate his heart, even making him think that he escaped from their singing. Max sits in front of him and gently strokes his head, leading Saciel to think that Max is still under the influence of the hypnotic siren.
"You can stop doing it" Saciel said. Max pulled out his hand and let out a disappointed breath. "What?"
"It's nothing" said Max kalem. "When did they both wake up? Just drowning weakly."
"Nero, how far is this island from the entrance of Mizuki City?" ask Max.
"About 30 minutes from here" Nero said. Max sighed and pulled his scythe. "Max?"
"Make it 15 minutes. Call Undine and we'll sail now. The smell of blood is enough to make me sick, "Max forced. Nero calls Undine and lays the unconscious on the boat, then helps Saciel get on. Max came in and stood behind the boat.
"Undine, please yes," said Nero. Undine nodded and made a big wave that pushed the boat away from the island, then made a wall of water so that the siren could not pass. Max looked at the wall with a calm look, but his feelings were upset when he glanced at Saciel who still looked weak. Her delicate hand gently stroked the top of Kezia's head that was still unconscious.
"Ah? That's siren?" max asked, pointing at the head behind the boat.
"Of course, I can't see it clearly. Wanna kill?" reply Nero. Max did not answer, but waited until the head was not seen again. Max put up the horses, put up all his five senses firmly. "Ah, the island is beginning to be seen."
"Ngh, Saciel?" call Phillip limp. Saciel hurriedly held onto his hand and smiled gently.
"I'm here, Phillip. Calm down," said Saciel softly. Carefully Phillip got up and looked around in deep confusion.
"Why...we're still sailing?" ask Phillip.
"Our goal is still quite far away, so be patient a little more" Max replied. He took his scythe and sat back down, watching the movements of Saciel who cared for Kezia and Phillip.
"...you make me uncomfortable" Saciel said suddenly. Max flinched and frowned, then folded his arms.
"My eyes, how come you're the sewer?" reply Max. Saciel only sighed, not understanding Max's rapid mood swings. The boat slowly anchored on the shoreline which glittered like a crystal in the sun. They immediately went down and laid Kezia down carefully. Nero walked closer to the gate, several guards of demi-human fishes looked at him in surprise.
"It's not him..."
"We can get through this portal?" ask Nero quickly. The guards fell silent, momentarily paying attention to the two witches. "Javab"
"B-can but the witch must stay here" said the guard, pointing at the witches. "They obviously can't set foot in Ceshier territory."
"We I mean everything, even those two witches. You don't want to end up with violence, do you?" nero threat.
"Marchioness Geliza won't like this" another great-grandson. Nero sighed and looked at them sharply.
"Tell him Grand Duke Ackerman came and needed something in Mizuki City. I-ka-rang."
"B-well!" answer them in unison, while going diving into the ocean. Nero could only frown, inwardly condemning the foolish and slow guard. A guard-head came with his face.
"Is the witch to be trusted?" tanyakanya.
"Okay, but they're weak. I'm sure they won't be able to fight for a while" Nero replied. The head guard nodded, then gave a silver slab with a mermaid engraving on it.
"Please enter. The Marchioness allowed you, "he replied. Nero nodded and returned to the entourage with a triumphant smile.
"Come, I've got the sign."
