The horse that the young queen was riding was still galloping quickly leaving the city towards the northern area. The heart pumps its blood faster than usual, making it a little uncomfortable. Fear and frustration were clearly visible on his face. Many times he muttered 'don't kill them' as if he were reciting a spell. As soon as the northern region began to be seen, a strong smell of rust greeted his kiss. He stopped his horse and paled when the ground he was treading was covered in a deep red liquid. Anger can no longer be suppressed. Saciel got off his horse and walked into the northern region, finding a tall, sturdy woman in a black bridal suit and a hood standing there. His slender hands were covered in blood.
"That's right! What are you doing?!" saciel Maki. The woman turned her head and put on a cold expression, but a bitter smile was imprinted there.
"Your Majesty, good day. Forgive me for showing up here with such an inappropriate appearance to face His Majesty," Vristhi said, saluting, as if she were insulting the young queen. Saciel's body trembled strongly, yet he refrained from blindly fighting him. He glanced in all directions to look for something and Vristhi understood his body language. "If His Majesty is looking for Duke Zografos, he is here."
Her hands gently brushed her dress and showed off the plant witch who was lying helplessly with blood staining her. That instant also saw Saciel's patience cut off. He pulled out his sword as fast as lightning and slashed Vristhi's head, but what he slashed was even one of the corpses that the woman used to protect herself.
"...i promised not to do this, but you've hurt my people. Vristhi Rosemary, I will hereby revoke your title and you will be executed on the basis of treason and massacre in the empire of Careol" Saciel said firmly. Vristhi started grinning and laughing loudly like a hyena. Insanity seemed to have ingrained itself.
"Haha, execution you say? Are you willing?" challenge Vristhi. Saciel was speechless, yet a flash of doubt was faintly visible in both of his eyes. Vristhi took out her fan and waved for a moment. Dark plumes of smoke appeared beside him and Hades slowly materialized from behind the smoke. He looked at Saciel and Vristhi alternately.
"Are you guys training?" he tried to melt the atmosphere.
"You think we're playing around?" vristhi asked as she gave a terrifying flash from both of her eyeballs. Hades glanced around and understood the situation.
"What do you want?"
"Help me finish off this new queen" replied Vristhi stiffly. Hades sighed and took out his death scythe with a heavy heart. He swung his scythe and made all the trees around instantly dry up.
"It's your business with the girl, I don't want to interfere" Hades said coldly. "While you can call me, that doesn't mean you can just tell me, boy."
"Heh, well," said Vristhi. He fanned his opponent with a strong wind, but was unable to bring down the spirit of the girl. Saciel ran back and swung his sword, but what he cut was even a large stick.
"What are you fighting?" vristhi asked half insinuatingly. He sat on a tree while sipping tea. Saciel glanced over with a frightening look, yet Vristhi only chuckled. "It's so scary."
"Down you, goddamn witch" Saciel said. Vristhi obeyed the girl's words and came down elegantly. He brushed off the dust stuck to his shirt and looked at Saciel.
"Huf, I'm so tired. Fighting you is like fighting a gorilla" said Vristhi, feigning weakness.
"Don't joke, Vristhi. You haven't put all your strength into it yet" Saciel replied coldly. Vristhi hid half of her face, but a terrifying lightning flashed from her pair of almond-like eyes.
"intriguing. We'll see who will survive this war" said Vristhi coldly. Saciel sighed, then clasped his sword tightly. Vristhi resurrected all the corpses lying on the ground with a cold face, inversely proportional to Saciel who was ready to vomit seeing the imperfect appearance of the corpses. He hesitated, but all of a sudden the bodies collapsed before approaching Saciel.
"Sorry I'm late, Your Majesty," said someone as he walked up to Saciel with a friendly smile. Vristhi was shocked to death, while Saciel scowled to see her.
"Where have you been?" asked Saciel annoyed. He smiled and took off his hat elegantly.
"Missing for me, Your Majesty?" dress it in its distinctive flamboyant style.
"Not at all. Where the hell have you been? It's been a long time, "Saciel complained as he sheathed his sword.
"I'm sorry, Your Honor. There are some things I need to finish first. Well, let me take care of it, Your Majesty can focus on checking on Duke Zografos," Lao replied. "Hello, Vristhi."
"How can you move so freely like that?" vristhi asked still surprised by his presence.
"Your Majesty and others helped me, Vristhi. It just so happened that His Majesty could unseal the ancient," Lao replied. "Well, what if we solve this problem first? You have slaughtered these innocents, and they must be judged according to their sins."
"You don't understand what I'm doing, Lao."
"...I know exactly what you're doing, Vristhi. But this is too late," Lao said as he pulled out his spear. "Ah, hello God Hades. Can you step aside so that we can fight to our hearts?"
"Alright," Hades replied casually. Slowly the mist covered him and he disappeared in the blink of an eye. Vristhi was annoyed to see it.
"Honey, don't pout dong. Your pretty face is a lot of wrinkles, you know," Lao tease. Vristhi shook her fan until the wind managed to hurt the cheek of the leader of the 7 Eternal Wizards deep enough. "When in fact if I could I would like to use peaceful means, but it seems impossible to face you now."
"Why can't you just shut up for a second?" vristhi muttered. "If you shut up, everything will go well. You don't have to waste your energy saving this bullshit-filled empire."
"Can you make your voice hard? I didn't hear it?" asked Lao while wiping the blood flowing slowly on his cheek. Vristhi gave a faint smile, slowly turning into a terrible petty grin.
"Khukhukhu, I won't back down, Lao. I have to keep moving forward to live and I won't let you get in my way!" sahut Vrish. He again moved the corpse lying nearby with a grin still on his face. "Let's destroy each other until one of us dies!"
"Haha, has madness started to seep in your brain?" ask Lao. He flicked his fingers, but the corpses did not fall as they had.
"Ah, fuck."
"Do you think the same trick would apply?" ask Vristhi insulting. Lao moved forward and started slashing down all those corpses mercilessly. Blood splashed like paint that was doused on a canvas violently. Vristhi did not stay silent just to see her corpse doll cut off by her opponent. He continued to remove various corpses from all races he had to fight.
"Ah, it's been a long time since we've fought like this. But I won't budge" Lao said. He went back to dancing while slashing the corpses quickly and elegantly, leaving Saciel mesmerized by the sight. The girl regained her senses and began to check on the duke carefully. He brought his index finger closer to his nostrils and breathed a sigh of relief as the warm wind blew softly.
While Saciel focused on Julian, Lao was already soaked with blood. On one side Vristhi still remained standing without the slightest stain on her clothes.
"This only?" ask Lao.
"Oh, of course not. That's just the beginning" Vristhi said as she displayed the coffin with the family symbol Requiem beside her. "You miss him?"
"Your mother? I don't want a weak corpse, but this one is worth what I want" Vristhi said with a grin. Slowly the corpse opened its eyes and looked at Lao blankly. "You must miss him."
"...you're outrageous, Vristhi. You promised you wouldn't touch this one. How badly do you want to make me angry?" ask Lao inside.
"Until you kill me, Lao. Khukhu, she's so sweet isn't she?" vrishi. The man sighed and played his spear casually. Suddenly he stuck the spear as deep as possible with anger emanating from him.
"I'll grant you your request" said Lao coldly. The young man lunged forward and swung his empty fist, but Lao quickly brushed aside. He twisted his body and kicked right at the heart. The young man was encouraged, but the pain he did not feel. He came back and attacked blindly. Lao dodged all of his attacks, occasionally trying to strike back. As if understanding Lao's way of thinking, he inserted a knife in his sleeve, then stuck it right in the stomach of his left side. Lao was surprised, but he rushed backwards while healing himself. He pulled out the knife and threw it away. His eyes turned to Vristhi who was controlling the corpse.
"Sister, focus," said the corpse as he kicked it as far as possible. Lao smashed into the boulder so hard that his head was dizzy. Blood started flowing in his temple.
"You can make him talk?" ask Lao.
"I put her soul back in, so she's like a normal witch" Vristhi replied. Lao mangosteen heard it.
"Ah yes, I remember that magic. So I guess I should be more serious, huh?" Lao. He ran quickly towards the young man and held his head. Tears slowly flowed from the two eyes of the young man.
"Please.me," whispered the young man. Lao held her tightly while gently patting her shoulder. Once again the young man stabbed Lao with a knife, this time a knife that had been drenched in poison. Lao just kept quiet and whispered to her.
"Sleep, Tuoli. He won't be able to control your soul anymore." He pulled out the young man's soul and gave the spider-web-shaped seal, making Vristhi squeak.
"So your choice made him unable to reincarnate? Very clever," said Vristhi. Lao dispelled the soul and put Tuoli's corpse into the coffin without a sound. "But that means you can't reincarnate either."
"I don't need reincarnation, because that's my goal" Lao said as he turned and pulled his spear. He took a swing and threw the spear until it stabbed Vristhi right in the ribs. The woman vomited blood and laughed like a madman.
"Again! give me more pain..ugh!"
He again spewed blood, but not because of the stab of the spear. Lao gave a smile and showed off a white soul ball. Vristhi is surprised and tries to move, but Lao squeezes the ball and the blood is spewed again.
"Huh.hah.hah fuck you," said Vristhi. Lao squeezed back so hard that Vristhi fell down and was unconscious. Lao was silent for a long time, his gaze blank. Saciel who realized the strangeness of his friend immediately patted his shoulder slowly.
"Do what you think is best" Saciel said softly. Lao sighed a few times and saved Vristhi's soul to a pocket of its dimension.
"What about Julian?"
"...he lost his right eye and broke a bone" Saciel said.
"At least he's alive" Lao said. "What about..the victim? I'm even adding to their bad state."
"We're bringing them together with magic. But the part that is not possible should not need to be taken care of" replied Saciel. They work without sound very quickly. Everything was in order just as the relief soldiers came to the rescue.
"I'm sorry we're late, Your Majesty," the head soldier said, saluting.
"Please bring the bodies of the soldiers, the rest are immediately buried. I will not remove them from their homeland" Saciel said. The soldiers instantly moved quickly and completed their task. Several coffins containing the bodies of border guard soldiers went straight to Careol.
"Then what about..uh...he?" asked one of the soldiers while pointing at Vristhi who was lying down.
"Shackle him with an ancient magic chain and take him to prison. He will be judged according to his sins. Ah, what about Dark?"
"Marquess Arlestine has taken care of it. Prince Dominic's ex is in jail."
Saciel only nodded and intended to ride his horse when a long and sturdy hand stopped him. A smile greeted him kindly.
"You look tired, Your Majesty. It would be more fitting for His Majesty to board the prepared horse carriage" Lao said, pointing at the royal horse carriage that was ready with the bodyguards.
"Take my horse carefully. And you, come with me" said Saciel, pulling Lao into the carriage and handing over his harness to a nearby soldier. After the door closed, a frustrated and tired expression immediately let out his elegant demeanor.
"You did your best, Your Majesty," Lao said.
"Best what? We lost a lot of people by letting Vristhi just walk away. If I knew this at last, I would have dragged him home before I could save you" Saciel complained as she ruffled her red hair.
"Maybe this is the destiny that must be pursued by him" Lao said.
"Do you believe in destiny?"
"No, but I believe we can change our future with our own efforts" Lao replied. Saciel paused for a moment and threw himself on the backrest.
"Lao, if I had to execute Vristhi, would you hate me?" ask Saciel.
"I'm gonna hate myself all my life. What he did was not your fault, but me who could not accompany him in difficult times. Whatever your decision, I'll go with you. Remain a fair queen according to your conscience."
"really difficult. Please wake me up when I arrive" Saciel said, closing her eyes and dissolving in her dreams.
