The Two Empresses

The Two Empresses
Get out of Prison

"How is it?" ask Cerlina. Julian just kept quiet and walked, followed by Cerlina who was curious. "Julian!"

"I haven't thought of a way, but we have to be quick. Ah, you should go. It could be a problem if you come with me."

"Why?" ask Cerlina.

"You are still the Great Priest, Cerlina. I could not protect you" Julian said. Cerlina pouted hearing that, then stopped Julian's long steps.

"I don't want to be treated special, just treat me as usual" Cerlina said. Julian breathed to hear it.

"Well if you say that. Let's go, Miss Grand Priest," seduced Julian as he reached out. Cerlina gave a small laugh and received a helping hand. Carefully Julian led the purple-haired girl into the carriage and he caught up with her. The train was moving towards a fairly deserted city, but some people occasionally glanced towards it.

"Is this my feeling or are people surprised by our existence?" ask Cerlina.

"You're right, it's kind of weird to see people watching our movements. Is there something?" reply Julian. Suddenly the egg floated from the east side and hit the window.

"Get out!"

"Fucking nobleman!"

"You're just making a mess!"

"Missiness? What's the matter?" cerlina. He tries to open the door, but Julian stops him. "Hey."

"Cerlina, they're angry. If you go out, I don't know what's going to happen to you" Julian said.

"But they want to be heard" Cerlina replied as she pushed Julian slowly and got out of the car. Everyone was surprised to see it.

"Miss Great Priest!"

"Good God, Miss Grand Priest! Help us!"

"What's wrong?" ask Cerlina gently.

"Miss Great Priest, after the city was attacked by our fields and fields were suddenly damaged. The water and rivers began to dry up. Help us."

"It's not summer yet. Well, I will work on something, but please be patient because the condition of our country is still unstable" Cerlina said.

"We can't wait any longer. There have been many spells and potions that we tried, but there was no result" one farmer said.

"If this continues we can starve to death."

"Go to the Zografos residence and ask my servants for the groceries you need for the time being. Bring this letter," Julian said as he went down and gave a letter to one of the farmers. Some people look relieved, but the look of dislike still radiates on others.

"It won't solve the problem!"

"I know, but at least help you from the threat of starvation" Julian replied calmly. The peasants were dossiering, then nodding. After they left, Julian sighed.

"Is this one of Vatra's deeds?" chirps Julian.

"So, I don't know yet. We'd better get going" Cerlina said. They continued on foot until they arrived in front of the prison. "He's here?"

"No, come here" Julian said, taking him behind the prison until he arrived at a shanty shack.

"What's right?" cerlina was half surprised. Julian opened the door and found the place empty and there was no sign of life. "Nobody's here."

"There is," said Julian. He approached a broken sofa and pushed it, finding a door leading underground on the floor. "Meet."

"Gosh, right here?"

"One of the seeds found it" he said as he opened the door. He lit a fire in his hand and walked down. "Hand."

Cerlina clasped her hands and went down the stairs which were quite slippery and damp. They arrived at a long passageway, with iron bars on either side.

"Ngh," he said, trying to get up but his body was too weak to move. Cerlina was deathly pale and could only stand sculpting. "Cerlina! Help me!"

"W-what?" cerlina's great-grandson. Lao gave the potion bottle and clasped his hands firmly. "Oh."

"I'll try to destroy the magic, you're ready to give me the potion. Understood?" julian was firm.

"You serious? The magic is not something easy for you!"

"I tried at least" Julian said. He released Cerlina and touched her bars. An elaborate magic circle appeared before him, leaving Julian stunned. "This magic has been a long time."

He began to move both hands, trying to break the magic circle. While Julian was busy, Cerlina just kept quiet as she looked at Lao who was panting. Slowly the smell of burnt flesh smelled, making Cerlina flinch and turn away. Julian looked at his two hands that were filled with burns in frustration.

"Damn it!"

"Julian, are you okay?" ask Cerlina lirih. Julian simply flicked his hand and slowly his wound disappeared without a trace.

"Too difficult. I can't undo it" Julian said upsetly. Cerlina paused for a moment, then pulled her wand from behind her sleeve. "Do you want what?"

"Try like you did" Cerlina said as she stretched out her wand. Slowly the magic circle changed, but only lasted for a while. Cerlina did not give up, she again tried to break it.

"... I think you're a weak-hearted child" Julian said.

"You're not wrong, really," Cerlina said after a long silence. "Perhaps because of the effects of being separated since childhood, I don't have the courage like Saciel. I'm his twin, but I'm too soft."

"You're a twin, but that doesn't mean you're a character-driven Saciel. You are still different individuals" Julian said. "And you're not flabby. You really look like the late Archduchess Marie Arakawa."

"I'm glad to hear it" said Cerlina. He suddenly bounced and hit the iron bars behind him until some of his bones cracked. "Ughhh!"

"Cerlina!" sahut Julian's. He hurried to check it and carefully laid it on the floor. "Your bones are cracked?"

"Looks. But I've managed to break the magic circle a little bit" said Cerlina lirih. Julian checked it and was stunned.

"You're right. But there's still a lot to change" Julian said. "Ah, fuck. Someone is coming."

The sound of approaching footsteps began to sound. Julian prepared to attack, while Cerlina stretched out her wand. The two immediately heaved a sigh of relief when a figure they were familiar with appeared.

"Ciel!"

"You're just surprised!" julian lamented. Saciel who heard it was confused.

"Indeed why the hell? Ah, you've found Lao, have you?" Saciel. He looked at the magic circle and thought for a moment. "Are you guys trying to tamper?"

"Yes. But it failed" Julian said.

"Success a little" Cerlina lamented. Saciel refocused on the magic circle and looked at Lao.

"Lao, can you hear me?" ask Saciel. Lao only groaned, making Saciel kneel nearby from behind bars. "After I release you, promise me to bring Vristhi home."

"What the fuck are you? He's still on the verge of death and you told him to..."

"Shut up, Julian. It's my business with Lao," Saciel said firmly. Julian flinched and intended to attack, but Cerlina held him back. After the atmosphere was quite conducive, Saciel refocused on Lao. "He's been a traitor, but I'll give him a chance if he comes home."

"...i.e...understand," whispered Lao. Saciel nodded and struck the magic circle. The flames suddenly ignited and devoured his hands, but Saciel did not snort in the least. He hit it again until it was smashed into pieces. Lao and Cerlina gaped at him.

"How could you just destroy that magic circle?" ask Julian in wonder. Saciel showed off her hand clad in sparkling white fur. "Fur?"

"It's from the angel wings, it's Parvati and Stevan. I heard it's quite powerful for ancient magic" Saciel said. "Well, hurry in and treat Lao. Cerlina let me take care of that."

"All right," Julian replied. He breaks into the door and helps Lao down the potion to the end.

"Move him to his house and treat him until he recovers."
