"Eh? What's that supposed?" ask Cerlina. The old minotaur lunged forward and clutched the collar of Cerlina's shirt with hatred filling both of her eyes.
"You really don't know or how, huh?"
"..what did you mean it was a war five years ago?" ask Cerlina. The minotaur snarled and threw him as far as he could.
"Darling, you hurt our guest," the old female minotaur loudly reprimanded, but her partner did not care. Cerlina tried to get up on her feet after hitting the wall with her somewhat frail body, but her legs gave up trying.
"Ugh," said Cerlina. The old minotaur just kept quiet and sat down, while his wife helped the girl to sit on the chair carefully.
"Not the war I'm referring to, but the slavery that's in your territory" he said coldly. Cerlina flinched hearing that.
"Slavery?"
"Do you not know or pretend not to know?" ask the minotaur with a pretty clear allusion in each word. "...just right, you're still young."
"Daniel, stop it" said the soft female minotaur. "This girl is not from our era, it's only natural not to know."
"Huh" grumbled Daniel. "You're spoiling that girl too much, Layla."
"What harm? This girl is sweet, friendly and holy. I heard she's Grand Duke Ackerman's future wife" Layla said. Daniel chokes, while Cerlina looks down to cover her dead red face.
"Huh?! Wife-to-be? She?! ...Grand Duke has unique tastes huh?"
"A..I am not..calon..uhh," said Cerlina while covering her face with both hands. Layla laughed at hearing that.
"Duh, be shy. I think almost the entire Ceshier region knew Grand Duke Ackerman was in love with a witch, even a Great Priest."
"Well, I think the Grand Duke's brain is damaged" Daniel lamented. "What's your purpose in coming here, boy?"
"Ah, I want to borrow an axe to mine the jewel of the Oorun Eye," Cerlina replied firmly. Daniel looked at the girl.
"I think the gods are really on your side, huh? I can't lend it" Daniel refused.
"Why?"
"First, that axe is a sacred axe passed down by my bloodline. Second, right now I don't know where that thing is?"
"You got rid of the ax, honey?" ask Layla.
"No-no! How could I have gotten rid of that thing" Daniel replied stammeringly.
'He's eliminating it, '" Cerlina's inner.
"Hm~?" chirp Layla with a smile that Cerlina thinks is scary. Daniel sighed and lowered his head.
"I'm sorry, I removed the axe" he admitted. Layla sighed hearing that.
"Ah, you sloppy bastard. You're really careless, it's a pity that this girl came for help and she got nothing" Layla lamented.
"But I don't know where it went either" Daniel replied quickly.
"That means it disappeared on its own, sir?" ask Cerlina.
"...yeah. I always keep that ax in a secret place, only I know. But when I checked it three months ago, it disappeared."
"Then how do I mine the gem without the axe?"
"No way, witch. The axe was the only thing capable of cutting the hard jewel" Daniel replied.
"...you said it was a holy thing, didn't you?" ask Cerlina to make sure. Daniel nodded.
"Can you take me to that place?"
"I can't possibly take a stranger to that place" Daniel replied, growling. "Don't try your luck, boy."
"When I might be able to help you track him down" said Cerlina, in a sad tone made as natural as possible.
"Ah, the Great Priestess also has a holy power that is lent by the gods. It's possible..."
"No, wife. He could be lying, "cut Daniel and folded his arms. Cerlina was silent, but her eyes looked irritated.
"What is the proof that your words are true?" reply Daniel. Cerlina gave a smile hearing that.
"On the second floor, there were two holy weapons that were seized during the war right?" ask Cerlina while closing her eyes. The minotaur couple was shocked to hear that.
"Well, that's amazing!" praise Layla.
"Hey, it's just a coincidence!" daniel panicked. Cerlina gave a triumphant smile hearing him.
"Continuously? Can I name any weapons in this house?"
"Heh, just try the rancid boy," replied Daniel annoyed.
"The one you snatched from the territory of the elves, the Silver Arrow that was passed down directly from the first king of the elves. Then the only one.hmm Avant Heim territory belongs to Deus Ex Machina God, a pair of gloves made of crystal dragon scales in the Holy Forest. Am I wrong?" cerlina. Daniel grew pale to hear it.
"True, really," said Daniel resigned. Cerlina laughed at hearing that. "Huf, what can I do. Come with me, you arrogant witch."
Daniel got up and walked away from home, followed by Cerlina at the back with short steps. They walked through a thick forest until they arrived at a lake.
"Are we going to cross over?" ask Cerlina.
"We will go into the lake" Daniel replied, tapping the ground beside the roots of the dead tree 2 times with a stick he picked up in the forest. Slowly along with the small vibration around the lake, a ladder down the lake appeared before Daniel. Without hesitation the minotaur descended, followed by the Great Priest with a light in his hand.
"Umm, your son died of slavery?" ask Cerlina carefully. The minotaur's body stiffened. "No need to answer if..."
"He was tortured while being a slave under the supervision of a witch. Last time the next war broke out, I managed to penetrate Careol's territory and found him hanged to death like flesh! And you know what? His blood was taken, his horns were broken and he was skinned!" his anger hit the wall leaving the hole. Cerlina was surprised to hear that.
"...i don't know."
"Of course you don't know, because it happened a long time ago. Even I don't think you were born yet" Daniel replied as he pushed the door in front of him and a small room with a glowing gemstone lay before them. In the center was a table where the axe was placed.
"Do you remember who kidnapped your son?" ask Cerlina.
"The immoral elders!" he turned to face Cerlina. "I want to kill them so badly."
"Uhh, some of them have already died as a result of the coup," Cerlina tweeted. Daniel laughed loudly at it.
"It turns out they're traitors, huh? Very funny," he said. He approached the table and gently stroked it.
"Here's the last time I put that axe down" he said.
"No way, you removed the axe" Cerlina said as she pulled out her wand.
"Haha, you're right" Daniel said in his laughter. "Well, try to find that thing, witch boy."
"I'm not a kid, but I am" Cerlina complained. He snapped his wand and his eyes shone like the color of the sea. A thin path began to appear in his eyes.
"Superficial" said Cerlina.
"What did you find?" ask Daniel.
"His father is here, but why don't we see him?" cerlina asked as she faced Daniel with a look of wonder.
"You kidding me, kid? It's clearly missing."
"When did you last wear it?"
"Two years ago, I took him to the kingdom of Ceshier. Then when I want to get in here..eh? How can I not remember after that?" reply Daniel astonished. Cerlina started frowning.
"You don't remember?"
"I remember it was missing, but I don't remember how it disappeared. When I came here to return the axe, my memory stopped" Daniel replied.
"What the fuck?" cerlina. Not yet after their confusion, a huge shock struck.
"What's wrong?" daniel sprinted up and was shocked when the forest was burned by the black flames.
"There's attack!"
