Trapped By The Devil

Trapped By The Devil
He Kissed My Lips, I Taste Your Mouth

Rara stroked Davina's shoulder which shook violently. Too many things that Davina harbored alone. He knows how his sister feels.

He doesn't know who to tell. On the one hand, Raka is still a family. She would not bear to tell Raka's infamy to her parents. On the other hand, he needed to let out his entire feeling so that he could be fine.

“Many people have more severe problems. No money, no food. Why am I this weak, brother? Just because of a broken heart and a lost dream? Why did I not have a life expectancy anymore?” Davina was so sorry for herself. He hates to feel the saddest person, when in reality he is not.

He knew a lot of people who were more unlucky than him. However, why did the pain in his heart not also subside?

If Raka was currently by his side, naturally the man would know what to say.

It’s okay not to be okay, Devni.

But the man was no longer there to remind her. Even men are the cause of all this to be not okay.

“Dav. Cry it out loud til your heart’s content. Then, come back strong. Cause you’re a strong woman.”

Davina continued to cry, roar, moan for a while.

And Rara accompanied him for that long. Patiently he rubbed Davina's shoulder.

“Lo will meet new dreams, Dav. You will meet new love,” said Rara finally.

“But I don't want new dreams, Brother. I don't need a new love.” Davina moans.

“Dav, you can still dance ballet. This is not the end of everything for lo.”

“Gue can't dance on stage anymore, sister. I... can't..”

Rara did not care anymore if her clothes would be wet and dirty because of the foam. He pulled Davina in his embrace. Her sister should know that this is not the end of everything for Davina.

“Lo can still teach, Dav, instead of lo also ever intention to be a ballet teacher?”

In an instant, Davina's tears stopped. Rara was happy amazingly, in her heart came hope.

Shortly thereafter Davina voiced, “Yeah, but not until I’m thirty.”

“And it's okay to start now. Ntar lo make a new school, compete with Nararya.”

And Davina's soul was back.

Competing with Nararya? Competing with the school that has nurtured him so far?

Looking at the light that was suddenly the prettiest in Davina's eyes, Rara gave a small smile. His sister's tears had dried up.

He took off his embrace, then massaged Davina's shoulder again.

“Dan... for new love..” Rara continues.

But Davina directly cut Rara's sentence, “Kayaknya for that one, I'm not ready, Kak.”

“Do not have to rush to find a replacement for the jerk Raka, Dav. I just want to open up again. Richard may not have succeeded. But I'm sure there's one guy out there. whose heart, finally, can make you fall in love again.”.

“But... Raka..”.

Rara instantly cuts, “But Raka is gone. And no more pantes dapetin lo.”

Davina fell silent.

“You desire so much better, Dav.”

The words seeped into Davina's heart.

It was not that he was arrogant to feel worthy of a person that was much better than Raka. Not at all. For he was not sure there was anything better for his heart than the man he loved.

Yet…

He feels responsible for respecting himself. If he lets others continue to hurt him, isn't that his own fault?

Rara let Davina dissolve in her own mind for a moment. Realizing that her sister was content to let out all her pent-up feelings, Rara immediately stood up.

“Udah right? My hand pegel nih..” He pretended to complain.

Davina turned to Rara, “Thanks, Kak.”

“You owe Keysha a new doll house.”

Davina chuckles.

Rara walks out of the bathroom complaining about her foamy soap, “Oh My God, I’m so gross!”

Davina laughs. Realizing that her brother was just pretending to be upset.

Davina has always felt grateful for Rara's presence in her life. His brother always made him think rationally.

Coming out of the bathroom, Davina immediately grabbed her phone. Pressing the call button to a number.

“Ya?” The man immediately replied.

“Yun?”

“Hm?”

“Gue request number Nikolas.”

Yuni was silent for a moment at the end there.

“Yun?” call Davina again.

“Are you serious, Dav?”

“Yap!”

“OK, later I send.”

“Thanks, Yun.”

Six Months Later…

“I'm so proud of you.” Nicholas smiled at Davina.

“Hust dong!” Davina smiled.

They were standing in front of a new building. Davina's ballet school. After a long process, he was finally able to establish his dream school.

Davina gave the name Espoir to the school. Which means hope. As a prayer for himself that this school becomes a new hope for him. New dream.

“Udah how many children are on the list?”

“Two.” Davina laughed, discordant. But he didn't look discouraged at all.

“Newly open there are two students. Great!”

Davina sneers. Sure enough that even if no student signed up, Nicholas would still praise him.

“Ya. I just want to show you the Espoir building. Yuk's home? My mom is waiting for me at home. Want to talk events for tomorrow.” Davina grimaced to remember the anniversary of her parents.

It'sit's nothing.

He'll only meet someone there later…

May his heart be ready…

Nikolas nodded, and they walked to the car.

As soon as they sat comfortably in the car, Nikolas turned to look at Davina.

“You're sure tomorrow you're ready?” ask Nikolas.

“Yakin dong.” Davina said steady. His heart said something else.

Nikolas smiled as he stroked Davina's cheek.

“Tell me, Dav.”

“Tell you what?”

“What are we?”

Davina quiet. For the last six months she's been hanging the love of Nicholas. Letting the man treat his heart, but gives no clarity at all.

Isn't this cruel?

Davina took a slow breath. Even when Nicholas touched her like this, his heart cried out another name.

But Davina can't keep going like this.

He looked into Nicholas' eyes.

“You want?” tanyakanya.

“You know what I want, Dav. The question is only one. What do you want?”

Davina held Nicholas' hand on her cheek.

She's not. She's not.

But he ignored the cry of his own heart.

“I want you, Nik.” She smiles.

“So?”

“Need to be clarified how else, Nik?”

Nicholas smile.

His face slowly approached.

Davina quickly closed her eyes. Then the lips touched his lips. Soft and slow.

Davina fell silent. No power to retaliate.

Because…

Even when Nicholas kissed her wholeheartedly like this, he still felt the lips of Rakalah touching him at this moment.

Sometimes things can't change.

Especially when Davina sees Raka holding Julia's hand tomorrow at her parents' anniversary event.

His heart still rumbled for the man. His eyes are still searching. Even when they cross paths in front of the free flow beer booth, Davina must hold back desperately her desire to ask Raka news.

“I can't reach my dreams, Ka. So I'm looking for a new dream. And now, I've had that dream,” said Davina, looking at Nicholas.

Then he walked away.

While praising herself as an actress with the most slick plays. The most pathetic liar.

Never mind.

He and Raka are really over.
