Davina rushed to take her morning shower. Then, look at the face in the mirror. Her eyes were swollen after crying for several hours in front of Raka last night.
He still remembers all of those events.
Raka just accompanied her crying for a while. They said nothing, still allowing the glass to be a barrier between them. Raka looked at Davina fixedly, like just wanting to enjoy their time.
After believing that Davina is okay, Raka leaves.
Just like that.
When she was alone again, Davina was able to continue her crying in bed, until she fell asleep.
What a night!
Think Davina.
He was always amazed at how he tortured himself! How ridiculous!
Davina's phone shook, distracting her.
Nikolas : Have some time today?
(Have time today?)
Davina immediately typed a reply for her future husband
Davina : I'll come to your house at 5.
(I'll come to your house at 5.)
After that, Davina kept her phone in the bag because she did not want to see Nikolas's reply again. He immediately stepped out of his room. He just wanted to quickly arrive at Espoir, just wanted to teach and do things he liked.
However, the moment he stepped into the living room, he heard a noise.
"Why the hell, Ka?" Rara growled, frustrated.
Raka just kept quiet.
"Nikolas is sick. Don't add to the burden of Davina dong's mind." Now Rara's voice sounded clear. But Raka did not want to explain the purpose of his arrival at this time, because it would only make all the feelings of his death more real.
"That's okay, sister," said Davina, calm down.
Both Raka and Rara immediately turned to the origin of the voice. Davina's face looked puffy, but her expression was flat, showing no emotion at all.
"Dav, are you sure?" ask Rara, be careful. As afraid, just in case he mispronounced something, Davina would break apart in front of him.
But Davina just nodded slowly. He looked as calm as the deepest ocean troughs, there were no waves at all on the surface, for everything just churned deep inside. Deep in his heart.
Rara could not say further, especially when Davina instead turned to look at Raka while saying, "Anterin I went to Espoir ya."
The sentence is not filled with question marks, nor exclamation marks. Not a call or an order. Davina just wanted to say her wish. And Raka understood what it meant. He just doesn't want to admit it.
She nodded, then the two of them walked outside the room, leaving Rara bewildered all alone.
"What's wrong?" Rara's husband appears holding Keysha who just woke up.
(What's up?)
Rara regained her senses from her daydream, then looked at her husband deeply.
"Sometimes and wonder..." Rara hung up her sentence.
(Sometimes I wonder.).
Rara's husband waited patiently.
"Why Davina still love Raka that much... It's been years..."
(Why Davina still loves Raka that much... It's been years.).
Rara ruffled her waist while shaking her head. The husband can only hide a smile. Rara came to her senses with a hidden smile from her husband, instantly understanding that she was being bullied.
"WHAAAAAT?" rara asked, annoyed.
The husband shook his shoulders, "Well, yeah..."
"WHAAAAAATTTTT???"

Davina steps side by side with Raka towards the car. None of them wanted to open a conversation, nor were they busy with their own thoughts. Because if they are using logic, they are certainly aware that their current actions are a big mistake.
They got into the car still in silence. However, as soon as Raka was about to drive forward her car, she realized something.
"Seatbelt?"
"Well..." Davina pulled her seatbelt in a hurry, making her falter.
(Let me help.)
Davina took a slow breath as Raka's fingers touched her shoulders at a glance, stretching the belt along her body, all the way to her waist.
"Thanks," said Davina, as soon as her seatbelt had been fitted perfectly.
Raka did not reply, choosing to turn on the music. As soon as she heard what song was playing, Davina immediately glanced at the man next to her.
"Really?" Davina was not thinking.
Raka simply replied with a shrug of the shoulder.
Shouldn't Matter's song, But It Does by John Mayer, plays softly in Raka's car.
Davina memorized beyond the head of the song's lyrics, she echoed each word eloquently. Raka enjoys everything in silence.
"It could've been always, it could've been me. We could've been busy, naming our baby number three."
Slowly Davina's face turned amused after humming the lyrics. Next he could only chuckle softly. A refreshing laugh after days of being trapped in the darkness of his own mind.
"Really's? You really think that if our relationship is smooth, should we now name our third child again?" Tone Davina mocking.
Raka shook her shoulders again, "Who knows, Devni... Who know..."
Davina laughed again. The thought that Raka would settle down at such a young age was completely ridiculous. Raka glanced at Davina who was still busy with her laughter.
"Well, now I'm really offended" said Raka, finally.
"Raka and marriage like can't even be combined in one sentence," Davina in between.
Raka sneered. However, do not deny that Davina's words can be true. Raka still remembers being held by Rafael about what he could offer after thwarting his beloved woman's wedding, Raka still feels that getting married at the age of twenty-five is ridiculous.
A few moments later, they dissolved again in silence. Only John Mayer's subtle and soothing voice accompanied their journey.
Raka's car is almost at Espoir. Just one more turn, then Davina will be separated from him soon. So, Davina turned to Raka who seemed to be concentrating fully on the road.
"You are silent today" he said.
"You know why I'm silent, Devni," Raka replied, without distracting her from the road.
Davina gave a small smile, fully understanding the meaning of Raka's words. Without needing to say, without needing to be shown, they both know that the separation is at the end of the eye. Davina has chosen.
"You don't want to see me either" Davina said.
Raka let out a breath. Should he tell the truth for Davina to stop interrogating him?
Alright.
If that's what Davina wants.
"Cause it hurts so bad," answered Raka, really, as real as her feelings.
(Because it hurts.)
Davina nodded. This time he not only understood, but also felt the same way.
Then, without feeling, the car had stopped in front of Espoir.
Davina opened her own seatbelt this time. He was unsure of his own ability if Raka touched him again.
"Thanks, Ka." - "Thanks." Davina was about to open the door.
"Devni..."
As before, Davina stopped immediately. According to Raka's call.
Davina looked at Raka.
"I'm too selfish, too stubborn, always selfish. Hence, I have never thought about marriage at all."
Raka hung up her sentence. Davina's waiting.
"But you're always an exception..."
Davina did not answer.
"Make you, I want to be anything, Devni, do anything. Because you're the only exception."
