Behind the Eyes of INDIGO

Behind the Eyes of INDIGO
The suspicion is right

Alia was still standing silently in front of the small hut. He tried to look at the back of the hut out of curiosity, but suddenly Fahmi came out and invited Alia to come in and pray.

Alia sat at the very back and close to the door, while the old grandfather was at the very front. Alia was very curious about the room because there were two rooms inside. One room was where everyone was sitting and praying now while the other was the room on the inside that was visible in the lock and could only see the inside by peering through the small window next to the locked door.

Alia tried to fervently pray but she prayed in her own way and did not follow the old man, because she thought the way of prayer used by the grandfather was not the same as the way of praying.

When Alia had just started her prayer, it turned out that grandfather was done and everyone started to come out of the small room. Alia still sat alone in the room and finished her prayer.

After she finished praying, Alia stood up in silence. He was very curious about what was in the closed room, he walked slowly and peeked at the inside of a small window beside the door.

His expression was very flat upon knowing what was inside. It was two coffins that were tightly sealed, but one was surrounded by a white cloth that was hung like a curtain to cover, while the other was outside the curtain.

After that Alia came out and sat beside the hut, she was resting because she still felt tired from having run while climbing the stairs earlier.

Everyone had already descended and sat down in the mushola courtyard to rest but Alia was still sitting alone beside the hut, she was also curious as the old geezer went back inside.

Suddenly the wind blew fiercely, the atmosphere became silent and cold, Alia's gaze was sidetracked at the male figure standing under the big tree.

The man wears a set of rangkep (the traditional Javanese men's clothing) with a brown striated motif complete with pull kemben and also a blangkon on his head.

He smiled at Alia, before long disappearing along with a gust of wind that returned to normal. It felt like the man wanted to convey something to Alia through that smile.

Shortly after the figure disappeared, suddenly a shadowy figure in black robes along with some of his bodyguards reappeared and also stood under a large tree. It was like they were escorting the arrival of the man.

A strange feeling approached Alia, she immediately went down and approached the other friends. Alia sat in the foyer of the mosque while gulping down the white water she had taken from the spring. He looked at his watch and it was already one o'clock in the afternoon.

"Fahmi, so now we're down right? it's afternoon I'm afraid of the school nyampe kesorean"

"I said goodbye to that father first"

Alia nodded and Fahmi went back upstairs to meet the old man for a goodbye, but Alia's feelings suddenly turned sour.

Soon Fahmi comes down and meets Alia with her disheveled face.

"Why are you on his face?"

"I'm confused Al"

"Why?"

"So when I was the first sowan would have given the envelope for the conditions, and now the person asked for additional"

"How many extra?"

"He said he said each person 50 thousand"

"What's? 50 Times 30, 1500 dong? very expensive! we are not here asking for strange things, just the intention of walking the same prayer in petilasan aja, and we sowan the same he will just make a guide just as lead a prayer, just, is it that expensive?"

"I don't know either, but he said that what he asked for would not be comparable to what we got later"

"Kok strange anyway, lest he had misunderstood us, and again 50 thousand money if for rich high school students they are quite large!"

Alia continues to curse because she is upset with the old grandfather's behavior, but Fahmi tries to calm Alia down, he said that there was still the remaining budget from the event and had given it to the father even though it did not match the amount requested.

"So now we can go home, right?" asked Alia who was still upset.

"Yes! the important thing was that I had said that if I could not give as requested by the father because it was too much, I could only give as much as possible from the rest of the budget, he said, and I saw that father's face didn't look happy"

"All you have left, what matters is that we go home!"

Fahmi asked all the participants and others to start walking down the mountain. As usual Alia and Fahmi walk the very back. His sense of regret towards the grandfather had not disappeared, he walked while continuing to babble annoyed, while Fahmi just remained silent.

The weather was very hot at the time, just like when they were ascending earlier, the sky was very bright but suddenly the clear sky turned dark. Suddenly, lightning began to strike and heavy rain fell. Everyone panicked including Alia and Fahmi.

"There's no other choice, we have to keep going!"

Meanwhile, Alia was still walking with a chair behind her without panicking at all and making Fahmi feel furious.

"Can you cut the road?"

"Why? relax a few times! I know who this is!"

"What do you mean?"

"The old man must have been angry because we didn't give him the money he asked for, and made a hail of rich lightning now"

"Kok you think that's it?"

"You're not aware? it was still very hot, and suddenly it was dark and then it rained lightning"

Fahmi just fell silent and tried to continue his journey.

After about two hours they all arrived at the entrance of the climb, and everyone was taking shelter there. It has been ten minutes they took shelter but have not seen Alia until, Dista panicked and told Fahmi that Alia was still not there.

"Yes, we have to wait another five minutes well, if not come later also let me be the susulin" said Fahmi.

Shortly after Alia was seen, she was still walking leisurely while everyone was worried.

"Why are you still here? don't get on the bus!"

"They are all waiting for you, and the other side is still raining, let them take shelter here first" replied Fahmi.

Alia walked outside, she stood on the porch of the entrance post and extended her hand face up, hitting the rainwater.

"Go to the bus, let's take shelter there!" alia said casually.

Everyone was silent looking at Alia, before long Alia walked away leaving all of them still sitting and sheltering.

Once out of the location and reached the residential residents, the rain immediately stopped, the weather again became sunny. The clothes worn by Alia even to dry again even though it was still soaking wet because of the rain.

Alia sat by the roadside to rest for a while, Fahmi walked up to her and sat down beside her.

"Aren't you Papa Al?"

"Tomorrow don't repeat!"

"Yes sorry"

Fahmi felt guilty, he also told Alia that he had met the father who used to be a guide when he came here with his friend.

"Is he also old like that grandpa?" ask Alia.

"No, he's young, and yesterday it was wrong I asked his house the guide to the residents, because the residents knew he was the old man, so I came there"

"And it turns out that old man who used to come to the firecracker to ask for a treat, hahaha!"

Alia unintentionally spoke clearly what she had thought from the beginning. Because even though Fahmi had explained from the beginning if they did not have any intention, but in Grandfather's mind it was clearly different.

"This abbot doesn't have to go back or come to Grandpa's house! especially when bringing chicken!"

"Why?" ask Fahmi wonder.

"If in Javanese terms, the chicken village is a close family! so if you come to ask for something and are asked to condition the rooster, it is clear you will get whatever you want, whether it is wealth, position, position, or whatever, but one of your immediate family will die, just like the rooster you sacrificed!"

"That's tumbals?"

Alia smiled and nodded. Fahmi did not really understand such things because he was not from Java, he was a Jakarta person who attended school in MA while living in pesantren and until now.
