Behind the Eyes of INDIGO
Twin siblings

**sister Ziva's story**

In a slow tone, Ziva begins his story about his two twin sisters, Vika and Vita. About 10 years ago when his twin brother was 15 years old and Ziva was 11.

Since childhood his parents loved the three of them, Vika and Vita also loved Ziva.

*****

We did not live here, we used to live in a village that was quite remote, far from the city and also the crowd.

It was my twin brother's 15th birthday and it felt like the last day we could laugh and play together.

From that day on, Vika's attitude began to change. He prefers to be alone and sitting in a quiet place, he is even reluctant to talk to me or to Vita's sister.

One day I saw Brother Vika sitting alone under a tree, I really did not see anyone there except Vika's sister, but she looked like she was busy chatting with someone. At that time I and sister Vita had not realized our ability to feel mystical things, but maybe brother Vika had experienced it.

A year has passed since her birthday, and Vika's attitude has become more and more strange, she more blatantly shows that she has an invisible friend, me and Vita were very sad to see the situation of Vika's sister who did not want to talk to us anymore.

At first everything was fine, until one day when we got word that my mother was pregnant again, and it really wasn't the planned thing.

Since the mother's pregnancy, Vika's attitude became increasingly violent, she even began to dare to shout at the mother.

My father and mother tried to contact my Om who lived in the city, he was the only one in our family who could relate to supernatural things.

Father and mother ask help Om ku to be able to return brother Vika in the condition as before, but Om I can not speak when he saw the behavior of Brother Vika. Um I just suggested we move out of the house before my mom gave birth.

I asked my Om why we all have to move somewhere else, but he wouldn't answer me.

When the mother's gestational age reached eight months, we finally moved here. We used to sleep in three rooms, even though it was actually my own room, but I always asked my twin sister to sleep together.

At the beginning of our move here Vika's attitude really changed, she was like coming back to her previous self. The three of us are back close and familiar, we are also waiting for our unborn sister.

But togetherness is only temporary. The day that the mother began to feel contractions, on that day also Vika's sister began to often be in pain, her body became hot cold, she often shouted incoherently.

That night, the mother's water broke and was immediately taken to the hospital. At the same time Vika's sister also had a very high fever, her body convulsed and she just kept screaming.

Dad called my om to keep the three of us at home while Dad and Aunt waited for mom in the hospital.

I told my Om to take Vika to the hospital, but he refused and said that his illness was not a disease that should be taken to the hospital.

When I tried to calm Vika who was still screaming hysterically, she read various kinds of prayers that she could until finally Brother Vika began to calm down.

Vita and I sat down next to her, she started to wake up and clasped her twin sister's hands with a smile and said "We'll always be together!"

As soon as I shed tears, what does he mean to say that? it was as if he was about to leave and would not return again.

I looked at the wall clock and it was 12 minutes or less. I also just remembered that the day when it was past midnight would be the 17th birthday of my twin brother.

In an instant the atmosphere in the room became very quiet, Vika's fever began to decrease, but it made me worried because her body temperature continuously dropped and now became very cold.

Kring.. kring... at 12 o'clock after 15 minutes Om I received a call from my father, he told me that my mother had given birth and the baby was a boy, and at the same time Vita cried hysterically, she yelled at Vika's sister, asking her to get up.

I immediately held Vika's hand, her hand was already very cold and stiff, I then called my Om and told her to check on my brother's condition.

I sighed and said, "Innalilahi wa innailaihi rojiun..."

The cry of Vita's sister grew, I just fell silent while looking at Vika's face with closed eyes and no longer breathing. I really don't understand what all this means, why it's like this.

Shortly after Vita fainted, my Om took her to the next room and asked me to look after her, while Om would take care of Vika's sister.

I still can't believe that Vika really died, it should be her 17th birthday, but why it's the day she left, plus we just had a new sister.

It was a day we will never forget.

The next morning, Vita and I went to Vika's funeral, while the mother was at home, she didn't come because she had to look after her newborn child.

After the funeral was over, Vita and I stood there for a while, Vita clasped my hands and said, "Did you see that Zi?" while pointing towards a large tree near the grave of Brother Vika.

I tried to see it, at first I could not see anything, but Vita's big hand held me tighter until I was really surprised after seeing what Vita wanted to show.

"I'm it..." I stammered, unable to even continue my words when I saw him.

It was the first time that I could see the invisible and not just because of my efforts, but because of the help of Vita.

I saw clearly under the tree, there was Vika's brother who was standing smilingly staring at us. I didn't know what to do, wanted to cry but couldn't, wanted to scream and tell dad, but my lips also became stiff and hard to talk.

Finally I can only stay still while continuing to hold the hand of Vita's sister until home.
