Behind the Eyes of INDIGO
About sister-in-law

Alia looked at the wall clock in the room and it was still four in the morning.

"Astaghfirullah.. What was that? why does it look like something like that in my mind?" muttered Alia slowly.

Alia looked back at her husband who was still sleeping on her lap. His right hand began to caress Azam's hair slowly.

"My husband is awake.." said Alia slowly as she continued to caress Azam's hair.

Because Alia's voice was so slow, so Azam did not budge at all until Alia repeated it for the third time then Azam opened his eyes.

"Ragasy... why? you can't sleep?" tanya Azam who immediately rose from the lap of Alia.

Alia just shook her head while smiling.

"Then why? are you angry because I overslept?".

"It's morning, what if we're tahajud together?" ask Alia.

"God willing..My angel of heaven... But aren't you still an impediment?"

"It just so happened that yesterday afternoon was clean, so now I will take a shower first, hopefully it can be for prayer" said Alia.

Azam just smiled to see Alia, while Alia immediately got up and headed to the bathroom to wash up.

They both prayed together and for the first time since they married, after they finished their prayers while waiting for the arrival of dawn.

Around 8 am Alia was ready and was waiting for Azam in the living room to leave together to go to the tomb of her parents Azam.

The two of them left on foot because the cemetery was not far from Azam's house.

Once there, Azam immediately led Alia to read the tahlil and also Yasin's letter, then they cleaned up some dried leaves that had fallen on the tomb and sprinkled new flowers, after which they walked back home.

"Ragasy, what's wrong with you? your face looks anxious, is it because you couldn't sleep last night?" ask Azam.

"Emmm I..."

"Tell me" Azam said.

"You said Mba Fajri had two children, right? but yesterday I only saw one, which is Luthfi" Alia said.

Lutfi is the first child of Azam's older sister, Fajri, aged 6 years and just stepped on Kindergarten. The black folding paper that Alia used to make paper birds used to be hers Lutfhi, the niece closest to Azam.

"Yes, because yesterday Arsya again in the place of her grandmother, the parents of her husband mba Fajri" replied Azam.

"Name Arsya? it means men well" said Alia.

"You why? seems very interested in his son mba Fajri?".

"Is Arsya about 1 year and a half old and has not been able to walk?" obviously Alia.

Azam was silent to Alia's words, he looked at his wife deeply as if he could not believe how Alia knew all these things exactly when he never told anything about Arsya.

"You've been like a fortune teller all along, you know everything!" said Azam who mocked Alia.

"I'm serious! is that true or not?" alia said while pinching Azam's nose with a tight fit because she felt ridiculed by her husband.

"Aw sick!! yes, it is true!" azam answered while holding her nose.

"We're going to Fajri's house now!" alia said as she accelerated her pace.

Azam felt confused when he saw Alia's face that immediately turned serious, her footsteps even became very fast like people who were chasing time.

"Ragasy why are you?" asked Azam while holding Alia's hand and asked her to walk more slowly.

"I don't want suudzon or anything bad to say, but I really feel like that kid is sick right now" Alia replied.

Azam was only silent when he heard Alia's statement, since this morning he had indeed felt something stuck in his mind, like something bad was happening to the people closest to him, but he himself did not know what it was.

The two of them rushed to Fajri's house. As soon as the two of them arrived, Fajri was in the living room and stood up while holding his second child who had just fallen asleep.

"Yes Zam, his body is quite hot" replied Fajri who was still swinging his arms.

"Since when?"

"From last night around 10 to the morning fussy continues, this just wanted to sleep".

Azam continued to ask about the state of his nephew, while Alia just kept silent while continuing to look at the boy in his mother's arms.

"Alia? why are you quiet?" ask Fajri.

"Oh no papa mba, um can I ask you something?"

"What do you want to ask?"

"Did Arsya run outside yesterday until the Maghrib?"

"Yes because yesterday he played at Fauzi's house, he can only walk, so again he ran around in the yard" explained Fajri.

"Can I hold it?" ask Alia again.

"Can..."

Fajri showed her new son closing his eyes in his arms, Alia looked at the child's face while glancing right and left. His hand tried to touch the boy's head, but not until Alia touched it, suddenly someone came.

"Assynnya!"

"Goddessalam..."

Alia was surprised when she saw Azam's older brother coming, she immediately moved away from Arsya and did not touch him.

Fauzi's gaze looked so cynical towards Alia, but he did not understand at all why Fauzi was acting that way to her, and if you remember Alia also felt that she did not see Fauzi on her wedding day and yesterday.

"Alia..It is better that you go home first, then I will follow" said Azam slowly.

Alia nodded, saying goodbye to Azam's two brothers, smiling at Fauzi in her respect, but Fauzi seemed to care nothing.

"Why? does Fauzi not like me?" alia said in her heart.

Alia returned home alone and went into the room, she sat pensively and was still thinking about her sister-in-law's attitude.

He actually really wanted to tell Fajri about what he saw about Arsya, but after seeing Fauzi, his feelings turned into a lack of confidence and fear of being considered pretentious by them.

"Assynolajet.. "

Soon enough, Azam's voice came into the house.

"Goddessalam..."

Alia came out of the room and approached Azam. The look on his face still looks anxious because he is worried about Arsya's condition.

"Where's Arsya?" ask Alia.

"So it's been taken care of by Fauzi, he's just disturbed by those who are not seen" Azam replied.

Alia just kept quiet, she already thought that Fauzi would definitely know more about what happened to Arsya than to Alia.

"You why? looks worried, thinks what?" ask Azam.

"Emm go in firstwell, I made you a drink" Alia said as she walked into the kitchen.

Azam sat in the living room and soon Alia came with a glass of warm tea and sat down next to Azam.

"I.. Can I ask you something?" alia said in a slow tone.

"Ask what?"

"I don't think I saw Fauzi at our wedding, and that's his attitude..."

Not finished Alia spoke, Azam immediately grabbed Alia's hand and held it tightly, it made Alia feel even more confused.
