Azam laid Alia in the middle room with blood flowing from her head.
"Astaghfirullah Alia..."
Everyone was surprised to see the state of Alia, until Bu Murniati was awakened by a storm. Afi whose body is still very weak was trying to wake up and see the state of Alia.
"You must immediately take him to the hospital, son." said Bu Murniati.
"But it's already midnight, and the vehicles here are a bit difficult" Anton said.
"Sir there is a car, can any of you drive?"
"I can"
"I can"
Anton and Azam answered simultaneously. Immediately Bu Murniati took the car keys and gave them to Azam.
"This is the key, tomorrow morning let the Mother who told you, you hurry, and do not forget to be careful".
Anton takes the keys and pulls them out of the garage, while Azam holds Alia and takes her in the car. Nafisah invites Afi to come along because only Afi knows the contact of Alia's parents. The others waited until the next morning for their pickup car to arrive.
Anton drives the car with Azam sitting next to him, while in the back seat there is Nafisah and Afi who continue to look after Alia.
Around one in the morning they left Bu Murniati's house. The distance of the place to the hospital is about two hours, because the nearest hospital from the area is just a general hospital of the area located in the city.
"Afi, have you called Alia's parents?" ask Azam.
"Yes, they are also on the way to the hospital, we will meet there" replied Afi.
Along the way they continued to pray for Alia, Afi's shoulders were even wet with bloodstains from Alia's constantly flowing head. The white veil that Alia was wearing now changed color to red because of the amount of blood that kept coming out.
Two hours later they arrived at the city hospital, both of Alia's parents were also already waiting in front of the hospital entrance.
Anton parked his car right in front of the emergency department door. The nurse immediately helped to get Alia out of the car and lay her body on top of the push gurney then they quickly pushed the gurney towards the handling room.
Ms. Mia, Mr. Aji and also the others followed Alia all the way to the front door of the handling room as they were all not allowed to enter.
Ms. Mia was sitting on the chair next to the door crying, while Mr. Aji was still standing pacing back and forth thinking about her son's condition.
In the treatment room, Alia's body lying unconscious began to be stripped by the nurse. They even directly cut the clothes worn by Alia and immediately threw them into the trash because it was filled with blood.
The doctor quickly picked up a gauze to stop the bleeding in the back of the head, while one of the nurses stitched a cut to his forehead.
The other nurse quickly attached several wires connected to the heart-detection machine to Alia's chest.
Nafisah and Afi tried to tell all that happened to Pak Aji, despite feeling unacceptable, but Pak Aji still tried to hold his chest when he heard all the stories from Nafisah. Meanwhile Azam just stood leaning against the wall with a position a little far from the door of the room. He kept staring at the door that said ICU from a distance without saying anything.
"Wheel, why is this here? didn't Alia let him go yesterday?" azam said in his heart as he walked to where he stood.
"I clothed him" said Nafisah who walked near Azam shortly after.
"You? how come?"
"At that time I accidentally found the bracelet detached from Alia's hand, I tried to return it but Alia was already angry, Alia, this afternoon when he went berserk I tried to put him on and hoped he could be calmer" Nafisah explained.
"Thank you for doing that" Azam said, forcing himself to smile.
"Together"
Thirty minutes later the doctor came out from behind the door of the ICU room, Ms. Mia immediately got up from her seat and approached the doctor.
"Doctor how is my son?" ask Mia Ma.
"For now, your child is in a coma" the doctor replied.
"Oh my God.why is it like this, why is my son comatose..." Ms. Mia spoke incessantly with tears.
"It was due to the impact on his head that was very hard and caused blood clots in the brain. For a while the patient can only be awaited by one person only" explained the doctor.
The doctor passed and the atmosphere turned silent as everyone fell silent. Ms. Mia asked Mr. Aji to let her go inside and accompany Alia.
Mr. Aji nodded and after that he tried to contact the family and tell about Alia's situation.
Once inside the room, Ms. Mia could no longer hold back her cries as she saw her eldest daughter lying on the bed unconscious.
His head was wrapped in a bandage very thick because it looks blood is still dripping, his nose and mouth filled with oxygen hose, on his chest was attached many cables connected to the machine that was beside Alia's bed, in his hand was attached an infusion needle and a tool that was clamped to one of his fingers.
Alia's body was covered only by a sheet of hospital blanket and did not wear any clothes at all as her entire body was filled with wires attached.
Alia is now like an undead dependent on a hospital machine.
"Son, strong well, you can definitely pass this ordeal" said Ms. Mia as she continued to shed tears.
Ms. Mia tried to recite the holy verses of the Qur'an and also continued to pray for her daughter's safety.
"Alia. You must be strong, Mama, Papa, and Sita, we all love you"
Mia continued to invite Alia to talk while rubbing her daughter's head.
Azam invites Anton and the others to go to the mushola. He did the prayer, pleading with the power for Alia's salvation.
After finishing praying and praying, Nafisah, Anton and Afi again walked to the front of the ICU room and accompanied Pak Aji who sat alone. While Azam was still sitting quietly in Mushola for recollection, his feelings were very chaotic, in his heart he wanted to scream, berate and also curse himself for not being able to protect the people he loved.
Not long ago the figure of the father who he always made a role model has gone, then soon the figure of the woman he always respected that his mother has also caught up with his father. Now he no longer knows what to do if he really lost the only woman he loved besides his mother and sister.
