Behind the Eyes of INDIGO

Behind the Eyes of INDIGO
Sympathized

The sky looks so dim because it is covered in dark clouds, the lightning that continues to blaze with the sound of rainwater falling makes the atmosphere more tense, plus the gusts of wind that are so strong, hit the body of Alia who was still standing in the parking lot alone without anyone nearby.

"God, why do I have to get caught in the rain here? where is there no one else?"

Alia was still standing and gazing towards the sky, she hoped that the rain would stop immediately so that she could immediately go to her destination.

Slowly Alia began to raise her right hand, she pointed it at the falling rainwater. The rain began to wet his right palm, he closed his eyes as he continued to pray for the rain to stop immediately, over time his hands began to feel heavy, heavy so that they could hardly hold it, he said, but Alia kept trying to point her right hand face up.

Before long the rain began to subside, Alia felt very happy, she immediately turned on her motorbike and rushed to Azam's house.

Although Alia had never once come to Azam's house, she knew his home address, after several times asking the people she met on the street, finally he found a simple house but looks quite spacious, next to which there is a fairly large Jami mosque with some simple buildings that surround, and it looks like the building is a dormitory for the students who study there.

Alia parked her motorbike in front of the mosque, because the courtyard of her house was still filled with chairs for people who served.

Alia walked slowly towards the house, the atmosphere looked very quiet because the funeral procession was over, so everyone must be preparing for the event for the evening's recitation.

"Mba Alia?"

Suddenly a girl wearing black clothes came to Alia and greeted her.

"Eh Husna? how are you here?" alia asked who was astonished when she saw her junior was in front of the house.

"This is my home Mba" replied Husna quietly.

Alia was silent and speechless, and Husna invited Alia to come inside.

Alia was sitting alone in the living room because Husna went inside to get a drink, the front was quiet because it seemed like everyone was in the back.

Alia looked around the house, the living room looked quite spacious, the walls were almost filled with displays in the form of calligraphy and verses of the Qur'an, but there is one that makes Alia feel interested and want to see it up close.

Alia got up from her seat and approached a sizable family photo posted on the wall near the door leading to the living room. In the family photo there are 6 people standing, two parents with four children, 2 girls and 2 boys.

"So Husna was Arrafi's sister, it was fitting that their faces and attitudes were very similar" Alia murmured inwardly.

"Regasy?"

Suddenly Azam came from outside and saw Alia who was looking at her family photo.

"Eh Arrafi, sorry sorry, I..."

Alia was shocked to see Azam who was already standing behind her, while Azam just smiled looking at Alia who was misbehaving.

Azam walked in and sat down on the wooden chair in the living room.

"Crazy well, this is a rich kid like this but can still smile?" muttered Alia in the heart.

"So you want to stand there?" said Azam.

Alia was again surprised because she was a bit dreamy. He sat back in the chair he was sitting in.

The two sat and faced each other, but no other words came out of their mouths until Husna came and broke the silence between them.

"Mba Alia, drink first" while putting a glass of warm tea and some snacks.

"Thank you, you shouldn't bother" Alia said.

"No, not the mba. Did Azam come home?" asked Husna who saw her brother sitting there too.

"Yes" replied Azam briefly.

"Subhanallah, they are both very patient, although very visible radiance of sadness in their eyes, but their attitude is very patient and mature" Alia murmured in her heart.

"Mba Elijah..."

"Oh yeah, why?"

"Let's tea in the mumpung drink is still warm"

"Oh yes, thank you"

Alia grabbed the glass containing the warm tea and drank it slowly.

"So you two know each other already" asked Husna to her brother.

"Yes, we used to go to school in the same MA" Azam replied, while Alia was silent with a small smile.

Alia continued to see the brothers, at first she was only amazed at the closeness of the brother and sister, but suddenly she again remembered about the black smoke she saw and surrounded them both.

"Astaghfirullah.so this is the meaning of the black shadows and smoke that I have seen so many times?" muttered Alia in the heart.

Seeing Azam and Husna wearing black clothes, he realized that the meaning of the omen he felt was sadness. The black smoke as well as the black shadow signified that the person surrounded by the black shadow would be enveloped by sadness.

"Oh my God, I really feel like a fool! I can't understand what I saw! why can you give such a foolish man as me, O God...?"

Alia still muttered in her heart until Husna realized that Alia was daydreaming.

"Mba?"

"Why Husna?"

"Kok daydreaming? that's the tea is drunk later to the cold" said Husna.

"Oh yes, yes I drank"

"Yes I've been back for a while yah"

Husna went inside and left Alia with Azam in the living room.

Alia looked at Azam who was sitting quietly with my eyes, she wanted to talk to him, but did not know where to start.

Alia saw a black folding paper lying on the table, she immediately grabbed the paper.

_____-----______

"Yey's finally here!"

After trying for quite a long time finally a stork made of paper folding was so. He put the paper bird on the table, right in front of Azam who was sitting speechless.

Azam realized when Alia put the paper bird in front of him, he looked at Alia as if asking what it meant.

Alia only smiled back at Azam's astonished look.

"You're like a kid, yeah, a folding paper toy like this?" ask Azam.

"If you want to tell a story, or express your sadness, he wants to be a loyal listener, he said it himself like me"

Alia's words sounded like they were comforting a little boy who had lost his toy, but they were very touching to Azam.

"really? then I'll keep this in my room" Azam replied to Alia's words with a smile.

The smile looked very sincere and not made up, so it made Alia feel happy because it could comfort Azam in the midst of his sadness.
