Behind the Eyes of INDIGO

Behind the Eyes of INDIGO
My bed...

Bell goes home from school, Alia rushes to go home, and as usual she goes home with Mayra. While on the road he still remembered the words of Nida.

Arriving at Alia's house, she went straight to her room. He put his bag on the study table. Slowly Alia continued to stare at her bed.

"Alia, what are you doing, son? go home from school and even sleep in the room, let's eat first" said Ms. Mia from behind her bedroom door.

"Ah yes Mah, I'll change my clothes for a moment"

Alia immediately took off her uniform and changed into an ordinary one. Soon he went out for lunch with his mother.

After he finished eating, he immediately washed the dishes he used to eat, then sat back down and accompanied his mother.

"Well, can't you if the bed in my room is taken out?"

Slowly Alia began to ask her mother who was still busy spending her lunch.

"Lho why?"

"Father, I want to sleep under me"

"Yes don't, sleeping on the floor is not good you know, cold too" Mia smoothly refused.

Alia tried to continue to persuade her mother to want to take out the bed in her room, but Mia still refused with various reasons.

Alia finally gave up and no longer persuaded her mother, because she felt that what she was doing was in vain.

Alia went back inside her room and sat down on her desk chair. He was still looking at his bed.

Even at night Alia went back to sleep on the sofa because she still felt uncomfortable to sleep in her bed.

_____-----_____

The next day after school, Alia again persuaded her mother to help her take out the bed in her room, but Mia still refused for the same reason.

Alia was so upset that she started doing it herself. Alia started by lifting all the pillows and bolsters on her bed and putting them on the study table.

Then slowly he let go of his favorite green character bed sheet. Alia rolled it up and placed it on a pile of pillows. After that there was an old cotton mattress that was very thin, slowly Alia began to roll up the mattress and lift it alone.

Alia is a bit of trouble lifting it, because even though it is thin but a cotton mattress will still feel heavy. Alia tried hard until she could finally lift the mattress and put it on the floor.

And right on top of the bed there is a klasa (park pandan ancient times) that has been very shabby, even some of the edges have been torn a lot inedible time.

Slowly Alia started to lift the clasa and tried to roll it up.

"Astaghfirullah!! this what!?"

Alia was shocked when she started to see something under the clan, and it turned out that there were so many maggots jumping around there. Alia ventured to lift the klasa and threw it on the floor. He was more surprised because it turned out that the maggots had filled his wooden bed.

"Yeahah!! mamaaay!!!"

"Why are you shouting, astaghfirullah! that's..."

Ms. Mia spoke while approaching Alia to her room, and she was immediately shocked when she saw the situation in Alia's bed.

"Son, you? why is this so?"

Bu Mia asked Alia, but Alia just shook her head with a very frightened facial expression.

"No papa, here baby, let's go out first"

Ms. Mia grabbed Alia's shoulder and led her out of the room to calm herself down.

"You've calmed down well, it's probably because the bed was a long time ago, so it could have been rotten and something like that came up"

Ms. Mia continued to try to calm Alia down, but she was still silent because she still did not expect.

"*Did*?"

Alia remembered the name and suddenly without feeling her tears just flowing, her heart was so painful that it could not speak and the tears were flowing more and more.

Ma Mia immediately took the water and gave it to Alia. After that, Mia returned to Alia's room with a large plastic bag and a broomstick. He began to clean all the maggots in the bed, although not all lost, but at least it will not fall when the bed is lifted out.

"Ma let's get the bed out!"

Alia suddenly approached Mia's mother who was still busy cleaning the bed. Ms. Mia just nodded, the two of them then lifted and took the bed out of Alia's room and placed it in the backyard.

Alia rushed to pick up the gasoline and throw it around the bed, the papa happened to always provide gasoline at home in case the gasoline engine ran out and did not have time to the gas station.

"Are you sure this is gonna burn?"

"Mah sure! you can't wear it anymore! if you want to use it also will bring bad luck to the makai!" Alia resolute.

Alia continued to pour the gasoline she held in a small jerrycan capacity of two liters. It did not even feel that the jerrycan was empty because so the spirit of Alia poured out all the contents.

Ms. Mia went inside and took a match and gave it to Alia.

"It's son"

"Thank you mah"

Alia received the match while trying to smile. He then put down the jerrycan he was holding and started lighting his match.

Alia threw the match towards the bed that had been doused with gasoline earlier. The fire was immediately lit up and devoured the wooden bed. Ms. Mia also threw a shabby felt and a black plastic bag containing some of the maggots she had cleaned earlier.

Alia looked at the embers with a glare, her heart was so hurt, because she had to lose her bed that had accompanied her from birth. And this was the second time he had to burn something that was very important to him. Although it was just an old bed, it had many memories of his childhood. He always remembered when he was so afraid to look under the bed when he was a child.

After which Alia rushed to clean up her room, she mopped the entire floor in the room. Alia also found a small white stone on the corner floor of the room where her former bed was placed.

At first glance the stone did look ordinary, nothing special, when Alia tried to take it and see it, accidentally the stone fell and rolled down the study table. It turned out that the stone lit up while it was in the dark, so it didn't take long for Alia to find it.

"Why is it so good gini? just seen me" said Alia while taking back the stone.

He then put it in his closet drawer and continued to clean the room.
