Alia was still speechless with the gaze that continued to lead to the cleaver. Azam was surprised to see the attitude of his wife, he tried to approach and asked again what happened.
"Ah me... "
"Why?"
"No papa, oh do you want to pray, right? pray first" said Alia.
Azam immediately held a prayer mat on the floor and began his prayer. Meanwhile Alia was still looking at the entire iron bed she was sitting on right now. Somehow his tears dripped down his cheeks, he felt that the bed held deep memories and sadness.
Alia then gazed at her husband who had just finished praying, she then grabbed the small Qur'an on the bookshelf and started reading it.
Although Alia had heard the voice before, she was still amazed when she heard Azam reading the Qur'an with a very soothing voice.
Alia stared at Azam in silence until Azam finished reading the Qur'an, in her heart feeling very lucky to have a husband who is good at reading the Qur'an with a melodious and soothing voice.
Alia then came down and approached Azam, she immediately kissed her husband's hand when he had put back the Qur'an that had been read. The two of them sat on the floor and faced each other.
Azam stared into Alia's face which looked anxious as if he felt something.
"Why you?" ask Azam slowly.
"I. I seem to feel something" Alia replied slowly.
"Tell me, I'll listen" Azam smiled indicating he was ready to listen to all that Alia was going to tell him.
"The bed seems like a woman was lying there until the end of her life" said Alia slowly.
Azam sighed, he felt somewhat surprised upon hearing Alia's statement. He did not expect that Alia could clearly know what had happened long enough.
"Have you ever seen anything like that before?" ask Azam.
Alia just shook her head. Previously, Alia could only see the events of the past, such as when she revealed about the murder of a woman whose body was hidden in a former bathroom building damaged, as it was, and also about the cause of death of the figure of the Rose who was hit and run until the body was never found.
Azam looked back at Alia with a sparkling smile, but before long his gaze turned into a smile and tried to throw his face from Alia's view because he did not want Alia to see the expression of her face that looked sad.
"What else did you see out of that bed?" azam lirih.
"He's..." Alia did not dare to continue her words when she saw the look on Azam's face that was holding back her sadness.
"Tell me, I want to know what you see" Azam said.
"He died of illness, could not withstand the loneliness that he experienced because of the death of the person he loved the most so that his body experienced various diseases and complications" explained Alia.
"Do you know who that woman is?" said Azam as he continued to stare at the bed they were talking about.
"Your mother?" alia replied while looking down.
Azam again let out a long sigh while wiping away the tears that almost wet his cheeks.
He told me that when his mother was sick she was lying in that bed. He took his mother to the hospital and was declared cured, but a few months later he fell ill and lay in bed for several days. Azam insisted on taking his mother to the hospital, but the mother refused until she finally breathed her last.
The bed was in Azam's parents' second room, but Azam deliberately moved it into his room for him to occupy. It was because he wanted to always feel close to his parents even though he was gone.
Tears drenched his cheeks as he could not help his sadness as he told Alia. But he still tried to smile as Alia looked at his face.
"I'm sorry, I don't mean to remind you of the sadness." said Alia quietly as she grabbed Azam's hands.
"I may not be able to understand your sadness, but at least you can share it with me, and there is no need to cover it from me" Alia said, replying to Azam's embrace.
"Congratulations!" said Azam while releasing his embrace.
Azam's face now turned cheerful and looked no longer sad. But what makes Alia feel confused is Azam's congratulations.
"Congratulations? what's for?"
"Because it seems like your ability has now increased" said Azam.
Alia had felt confused and also surprised, could-can Azam say such a thing in the middle of his sad story.
"Not funny to know!!" alia shouted as she pinched Azam's nose with her firmness.
Azam had screamed in pain but because upset with his jokes, Alia also released the pinch after Azam's nose completely turned red.
"I told you the truth." said Azam, holding his red nose.
Alia kept laughing while looking towards Azam.
"Emmm actually, there is still one more.." said Alia.
Azam was silent as he looked at Alia, he again told Alia to tell him what else she saw.
Alia said she saw a male figure coming out of a machete hanging on the wall and smiling at him.
"What does it look like?" asked Azam who was so enthusiastic.
Alia told how the figure of the man who came to her earlier, for a moment Azam was silent. All that was said by Alia was very similar to her late Abah before she died.
"It looks like it's Abah" Azam said.
"What is it that you are right? but what I saw in the photo was not like that" said Alia who tried to deny it.
Azam explained that the family photo displayed in the living room was taken long enough, so it was only natural that Abah's appearance was slightly changed.
"You are very lucky." Azam said.
"Lucky?"
"Yes, for a long time I wanted to see the figure of Abah again even though it was just a shadow, but I never saw it at all, while you.he even came alone" explained Azam.
"Could he accept me as his son-in-law?"
"Of course, he must be happy to see that I can marry a beautiful woman and Solehah like you" Azam said with a smile.
Alia just smiled at Azam's words, she felt embarrassed by the praise given by her husband.
"How about tomorrow morning we visit the graves of your parents?"
"Of course!" answer Azam with great enthusiasm.
Alia leaned against the wall, and Azam asked permission to lie on her lap, and she could not refuse her husband's request.
Since it was a new place for Alia, then she still felt uncomfortable and could not sleep, so Azam said that he wanted to accompany Alia to chat all night.
The two of them continued to talk to each other until Azam began to sleep in Alia's lap. Not having the heart to wake Azam, Alia closed her eyes while leaning her head against the wall until she fell asleep.
But not long ago Alia fell asleep she is now back awake. In his mind came a vision that surprised him.
