In the past in Central Java precisely in the Kudus area, many great figures were sakti mandraguna. Among them is certainly Sunan Kudus, a great guardian who became one of the members of the Walisongo Da'wah Council. Besides that there are also other magicians namely Ki Ageng Kedungsari, he is a prominent citizen in the Gebong area which is now in the Kudus Regency area. He was happy with a handsome boy. After watching his son grow up, Ki Ageng intends to marry him off.

However, his own son admitted that he did not have a choice of heart. Therefore, Ki Ageng Kedungsari asked his relatives for help to find a girl who would be worthy to accompany his son. Some time later, Ki Ageng got the news that Ki Ageng Rajekwesi in Jepara area had a beautiful girl. Plans to visit and apply to Jepara immediately prepared with all relatives who are all respected people. In the depths of Ki Ageng Kedungsari's heart, a beautiful hope blossomed because he felt a rich and honorable person.

"Keep up with all authority so as not to be humiliated by people" Ki Ageng Kedungsari said to relatives who had packed the task of applying. Of course the speech was greeted with a smile of pride.

"Trust me, we will be the best emissaries of Kedungsari. Who hasn't heard of Ki Ageng's authority? Stupid is he who rejects his proposal." The remark came from a swordsman who would be in charge of guarding the company from evil during the journey.

The welcome of Ki Ageng Rajekwesi in Jepara to the envoy of Ku Ageng Kedungsari was very pleasant. Banquets and drinks continue to flow accompanied by lively dance and gamelan so quickly eliminate all the fatigue of the group that has traveled a long way. After having enough hospitality, the will was conveyed by Ki Ageng Kedungsari to propose to Ki Ageng Rajekwesi's daughter for his only son. It is also said that any wish of the girl will be fulfilled to the best of her ability.

Hearing the proposal, smile Ki Ageng Rajekwesi. Then, he said softly, "Ki Sanak, thank you for Ki Ageng Kedungsari's choice of our young daughter. But, know that there are many people who propose to him. However, until now my own daughter still has not made her choice. All I hear is that she can be asked by anyone if her dowry is an elephant. Well, would Ki Sanak convey it to Ki Ageng Kedungsari.

The sentence was received by the leader of the group with a relieved smile because he remembered a favorite elephant Ki Ageng Kedungsari. Then, they hurried back to Kudus where Ki Ageng Kedungsari had been waiting for the results of his emissary with beautiful hope. However, his heart was surprised to hear the requirements of an elephant's dowry. For a long time he also weighed and finally granted the request of his son-in-law. So, his affection for the child is able to defeat his own pleasure.

Then, word came from the mouth to the mouth of the population about the proposal of Ki Ageng Kedungsari who had given up a beloved elephant as a dowry. The news was also heard by Ki Ageng Menawan who felt jealous to imagine the success of Ki Ageng Kedungsari. In his heart grew an evil intent about to thwart the plan, even wanting to snatch the elephant Ki Ageng Kedungsari for himself. He thought, "If I had an elephant it must have been a person of honor and now is a good time."

Hearing the offer, Ki Watu Gede laughed while promising to cooperate with the best. However, in his heart also rose the desire to have the elephant himself in order to become a respected person. Not long after, the group from Kedungsari had entered the territory of Ki Watu Gede. They had only made half the journey to reach Jepara.

All members of the group increased their vigilance because they realized that they were outside their own territory. They already thought that at any time there could be a robbery of his property. It turns out that the disaster had to be dealt with. At the time of night, came Ki Watu Gede and Ki Menawan who intended to seize property and his elephant.

Of course, the request was rejected so that there was an exciting fight for days. Both parties drained his magic, fell-wake and lose-win alternately so that it became widespread news among the population until heard by Ki Agung Kedungsari. The fight became more intense with the arrival of Ki Ageng Kedungsari who burned his heart. However, until a few days later no one was defeated.

Finally, negotiations were reached to divide the elephant into three parts. Ki Menawan has his head, Ki Ageng Kedungsari carries his body, and Ki Watu Gede is entitled to his butt and tail. From that event later developed the belief that the descendants of Ki Menawan are brave people, the descendants of Ki Agung Kedungsari are destined for many of his provisions, and the descendants of Ki Watu Gede are always found to have difficulty finding a decent life.

Now people can see the three parts of the elephant as large stones, namely in Kedungsari Village and Menawan Village in Gebong sub-district, Kudus Regency. One more part is in Watu Gede Village Mayong sub-district, Jepara Regency.
