Snake n'Daung

At the foot of a mountain, there lived an old woman with three children. One day, the old woman was very ill. A clever man in his village said he should be given special medicine, which is leaves cooked with magical embers from the top of the mountain. That said, the coals were guarded by a snake. He will prey on anyone who approaches the top of the mountain.

It turned out that only the youngest was brave. He climbed the mountain of the Snake n'Daung. Not yet exhausted the worry of the Bungsu, suddenly there was a roar and a loud roar. Ground vibrates. At night, the snake turned into a handsome knight. In the morning, he became a snake. He has been bewitched by his own uncle who wants to be king.

Both of the Bungsu sisters became suspicious of the Bungsu's departure. They also came to the cave. There they saw the Bungsu sitting with a handsome young man. Embrace envy because the young man has married the Bungsu. Silence, they took the snake skin and burned it. Both hoped the Prince would get angry and throw out the Bungsu.

"The magic is gone if anyone burns my skin. Thank you very much" said the Prince the next day. The prince took the Bungsu to the palace. They took the kingdom from his uncle. They invited Bungsu's mother and sisters to live in the palace. Both of his brothers refused in shame.

The Fire Lord and Princess Sulita

There was a cruel king named the Fire Lord. He had a blind crow that he loved. One day, the Fire Lord was going out of town. He said three things to the Queen who was pregnant. First, to take care of himself. Second, do not forget to feed the king's beloved bird. Third, if the Empress gives birth to a daughter, the child is immediately killed.

The expected child was born. It turned out that she was a baby girl who was then named Princess Sulita. Two weeks later, the Fire Lord has returned. The empress told her about her birth and said that their baby girl had been killed and thrown into the river.

When they dined, suddenly a blind crow came out of his cage, "Eat good, my lord. Let me starve in a cage. Live well, my lord. But the baby girl who was born has been thrown out of town."

The Fire Lord looked startled at the crow's words. He also asked the Queen to be honest. The empress kept saying that her baby daughter had been killed and thrown out.

Hearing the news, there arose the desire of Princess Sulita to try to treat the disease suffered by the King.

The treatment worked. The King was healthy again as usual. As promised, the King asked Princess Sulita and her nanny to stay in the palace. Princess Sulita was made a child and was entitled to the title of queen when the time came. The queen is very happy. So did Princess Sulita. The Fire Lord who was once famous fierce, changed for good.
