The Origin of the Bali Strait
In the Kingdom of Daha, there lived a Brahmin named Sidi Mantra. He had a son named Manik Angkeran. After adulthood, Manik Angkeran became a handsome young man. Unfortunately, he likes to gamble. For the sake of gambling, he spent the treasures of both his parents. He also has a lot of debt. When he could not pay the debt, he asked his father for help.
Once, Sidi Mantra prayed for a way out. Suddenly he heard a voice, "Sidi Mantra, go to Mount Agung. There was a treasure guarded by the Besukih Dragon. Ask him to give you a little treasure."
Sidi Mantra immediately met the Dragon Besukih. The dragon also gave some of his scales. From the scales came diamonds and gold. Everything Sidi Mantra got was given to her son. He ordered that the money be used to pay debts and not gamble anymore. However, the treasure was soon exhausted. Manik Angkeran used it to gamble again. And so, when he asked for help again, Sidi Mantra refused him.
Secretly Manik Angkeran came to the Dragon Besukih. Then came his evil intentions. Manik Angkeran wants to get as many treasures as possible. When the Besukih Dragon turned around, the young man intended to cut off the tail of the dragon. The Besukih Dragon threw its tail towards the Angkeran Manik. The young man's head was cut off and died instantly.
Sidi Mantra and his wife were disappointed by his son's attitude. However, he still begged the Dragon Besukih for his son to be revived. Naga Besukih also granted the request. The head and body of Manik Angkeran were again put together. They were also allowed to go home.
On the way, Sidi Mantra stuck his wand. From there, the water gushed and formed a river. The river divides the land where Manik Angkeran beach and his parents. Sidi Mantra said that they would be separated forever.

Kebo Iwa's
Meanwhile, Majapahit was ruled by Queen Tri Bhuwana Tungga Dewi. His name is Gadjah Mada. Patih was famous for the Palapa Oath, which he vowed would not enjoy the world before the entire archipelago was united under the banner of Majapahit. In fact, during the Iwa kebo, Majapahit never managed to control the Bali region.
Patih Gadjah Mada set up a new strategy. He invited Kebo Iwa to Majapahit in the name of friendship between kingdoms. He also promised to introduce Kebo Iwa to a girl who could be edited. After that, he asked Kebo Iwa to make wells for the Majapahit Kingdom that was experiencing drought.
Kebo Iwa accepted the request. He came to Majapahit and started making wells. At that time, Majapahit soldiers stockpiled Kebo Iwa in the well he made. Indeed, Patih Gadjah Mada regretted using the evil tactic. However, the archipelago must be united. The Kingdom of Bali must be part of Majapahit.
Kebo Iwa darted off the heap. He attacked Patih Gadjah Mada. In the midst of the battle, Patih Gadjah Mada shouted his intention to unite the archipelago. Silence, Kebo Iwa thought about the words of Patih Gadjah Mada. He began to understand Gadjah Mada's good intentions. However, Kebo Iwa did not want to betray. Finally, by deliberately telling his weakness, he could be conquered by dousing chalk powder into his body.
Gadjah Mada increasingly admired the king of Surasilulu. He then attacked Kebo Iwa's weakness. It collapsed. When he died, Kebo Iwa said, "May the archipelago be united and strong so that my death is not in vain."
