![Deja Vu [ Lilian Ashley ]](https://pub-808a39b4257a4970ba241a999948d404.r2.dev/deja-vu---lilian-ashley--.webp)
Slowly, I opened my eyes and received a light that now signified that consciousness had recovered from the previous event. Did I faint or fall asleep?
"Finally you wake up."
There was the sound of a man approaching with a sweet smile carved on his face, as if he had been waiting for the length of my consciousness. His face seemed friendly, like always displaying the joy in his life. His attitude is like a hyperactive and cool human towards everyone. Hair modeled 'coma Hair' is thick and pitch black. Tall and busty fields like the bodies of athletic guys.
But, who is he?
I also squinted my eyes at him who was now standing next to my bed. Ah, apparently I was in the hospital. Thin blankets and white rooms that signify that this is really an internal outpatient room. Did I lose consciousness when I was in the rain and rushed to the hospital?
"Doctor said, you are exhausted as a result of fainting on the street," said the man with a concerned tone. "Other times, don't be too self-employed to do college work."
Am I a college kid? Ah, I can't remember anything. Have I had a memory loss attack? It seemed, I was thinking too much about a question that could not be thrown at anyone, or even answered by the person before me.
Oh no, am I amnesiac?
The man who was talking to me looked very foreign in the eyes. However, his manner was so relaxed and felt very familiar to me. Is he my father? It doesn't seem like he's too young to have a child as big as my body.
These eyes glanced at the digital clock that was on the nightstand next to me. Look at the 18:00 display on July 20. I turned my eyes back to the man and found his bewildered face staring at me.
"What a big deal? In fact, you don't want to talk to me?" he said while tilting his head.
It feels so confusing. Do I have to admit that I don't know him?
Suddenly, the man handed me a pink-chassed phone before saying, "Now, I brought it to call your manager for a few days' clearance."
Permission to manager? Am I a student and an office worker? That's an impossible thing. Even though my memory is gone, it seems my logic doesn't go away. Without speaking, I received the phone and in an instant text message notification appears automatically on the screen.
My finger reflex touches the touchscreen to open the text message.
Inbox || [Unknown number]: Don't tell anyone about memory loss.
Why would a stranger know my phone number and send a message like this? How did he know that I had lost my memory? Was he a shaman who plucked out my memories, then sent a text message in a subtle commanding style?
TLING'S!
Sound notification again with the same sender.
Inbox || [Unknown number]: If you have been hospitalized for too long. So, you will interact a little in the outside world to forget about the environment, about yourself, how to walk, how to express. The worst thing is to forget how to breathe.
It's awful, like there's a point. Perhaps, I should obey the will of the sender of this message, then pretend to face the world normally. As time went on, I must have remembered little by little. Sure and sure!
"Emm .. Can I go home today?" I asked the man in a low tone. It seems my question raised suspicion on him.
"I? Is your style of speech so formal? Is BF lo is less sweet huh, until lo like this?" reply while pinching the chin with both fingers.
What is BF? Does that mean Boyfriend? Her my boyfriend?
"My head .. I'm still a little dizzy. So it's a bit of a rush" I said in a hurry.
The man was sitting in the chair next to my bed. "Jeez, Ley, if you're still dizzy, here you go."
What is my real name to call me 'Ley'? He called me with a half call, making me even more curious.
"G-gue doesn't feel right here, wants to go home," I said with a glass. "Can, huh?"
The man nodded slowly. "Yes, but tomorrow still do not go to the campus to work together, huh?"
"OK," I said briefly.
For a while, I prepared to leave the hospital with the help of the man with one nurse. I tried to check the nameplate of the diagnosis at the end of my bed. It's called "LILIAN ASHLEY" which makes me smile. Apparently, that's my name. So, the guy who called me a piece of my name with the word "Ley" was Ashley. I'm Ashley.
"Need a wheelchair? Or am I just carrying? You're really still dizzy, aren't you? You sit down first."
The successive questions from the man had confused me to answer them. His worry attitude is too excessive. But, it's only natural for him to care about me as a lover, not just a friend.
"No need. We'll just go home."
"Okay, come on cap-cus."
We stepped outside the hospital and I found the man opening the car door on the passenger side of the driver.
I want to thank you so much for calling her name. But how do I call him?
Finally, the journey began without spending a long time. The man I didn't know his name was always talking to various incomprehensible topics. From discussing the salary, the pet, the foreign woman who asked for a number against him and an old man who was trying to overtake the car when he was mentioning. If only I had not lost my memory, it would have been understandable what he was talking about his daily life.
The car stopped at a parking lot in front of a five-storey apartment building. We went out and stepped into the lobby, then went to the third floor.
Totally foreign. I really can't remember any of these memories. Everything feels empty and empty. By the way, who's he taking me to? Are we living at the same time?
"Hey, where are you going?"
I was daydreaming and didn't realize I was walking past the man. He had already stopped his steps on one of the rooms in this corridor. I'm starting to mess around. I quickly turned around and walked to stand next to him.
"Let's get into your apartment" he asked.
It looks like this is my private apartment and he's waiting for me to open the door.
My hand reached out to the famous unmarked white sling bag that I had been wearing. However, I tried nothing to find a key.
"Lost, yes, the key?" ask the man worriedly. "Quiet down. The reserves are on me."
He hung the key on his finger right in front of my eyes. It's weird, why would I give a man a private apartment key? Isn't that a little dangerous? Never mind, I didn't understand my way of thinking when I was normal.
Next, there is a balcony visible from the glass door. One bedroom and a closed bathroom, as well as a very neat kitchen set. It looks so clean and neat.
"Gue cleaned the apartment while you were still hospitalized." Oh, it turns out he's the one cleaning. "Is your head still hurting?"
He asked me as I held my head. Of course not because of pain, but because I try to remember things that involve linking this room.
"Gue is okay."
"If I'm still sick, I'll carry him to my room. If we can, we'll go back to the hospital."
Oh no, I don't want to be hospitalized alone so I can't interact with the outside world. As a result, forget everything, until the name, the closest people, even forget daily human habits. I don't want to be like that. Thank goodness someone with an unknown number managed to warn me about it.
"No need. I'm .. I'm fine," I lie with a big smile.
"OK. if it's better, I want coffee," said the man excitedly. "Let's make me."
A woman who has just healed. It's okay, after all he must have helped a lot when I was hospitalized.
Actually, what happened to me until all these memories just crashed? Did I bump and affect the nerves of my brain? It's really hard to guess. If this is true, why can't doctors be aware of my illness?
"Hey, what are you doing?"
I flinched when the man asked as I had already opened one of the drawers to pick up the coffee grounds.
"Lo really want to make me coffee?"
"Yes, would you ask for coffee?" ask me innocently.
"Gue doesn't like coffee, and you know it," he said, looking at me fixedly.
Is he kidding me? Looks like he's gonna give me a stamp as a senator. I'd better pretend to agree, than he'll ever know about my memory loss and throw me in the hospital, it'll be more dangerous.
"So, what do you want to drink?" my many. I hope he doesn't test my memory again.
"As usual dong, Sprite!"
I quickly opened the refrigerator and found three large bottles of sprite-branded drinks, then took one to pour on the glass. Maybe, I really noticed it until the drink alone was available three bottles.
I poured the drink on a glass glass and put it on the front desk of the TV to let the man aka my lover enjoy it.
My head turned to him and found itself stunned indistinctly.
"Gue, go home first. Take a break."
Wait, what about the drink? It seemed like he could read my mind before saying, "Drink a sprite that you've already poured out." Then, he continued his sentence before I interrupted. "Again, you also like sprites. Actually, I like coffee. Just, you were acting a little strange earlier."
Geez, I still find it hard to adjust. At first, it was suspected like this.
"See you, I'm going ya. Night," she said as she left my apartment.
Without thinking about anything else, I entered the bedroom and opened the wooden cabinet that had three doors. Then, find a nightgown for me to wear tonight.
I threw my body down to look at the ceiling. What should I do tomorrow? Said the man earlier, I should rest another day to recuperate. Tomorrow, I have to live my daily life as usual. I can't do that without people's guidance. It's hard, do I have to reveal this incident and beg you not to be kicked out of the hospital?
TLING'S!
New text message notifications from the same number at the hospital appear.
Inbox || [Unknown number]: For the morning, go to the campus. After returning home, enter work at a cafe near the red light named 'Caffe Clair de lune'.
TLING'S!
A new message was immediately sent again when I opened the first message.
Inbox || [Unknown number]: No need to be explained more clearly. Everything will be easy to understand when visiting these places.
I feel super curious to the person who is sending me messages like this. Just typing it could mean that he knew that I had lost my memory. Without any more ba-bi-bu, I replied to the message.
Resent: Who are you?
I sent a message and got a reply.
Inbox || [Unknown number]: Guess
Geez, in this situation alone this human is still playing guesswork with me. No. I replied to the message and I'd better start taking a break.
Suddenly, my stomach rang. I just remembered that this stomach hasn't been filled by anything since. I got out of bed and rushed to the kitchen and checked if there was any food to eat for now.
It turns out there is a lot of frozen food and instant noodles. I'd better eat instant noodles, because it's too complicated to cook frozen food. Or vice-versa.
I saw the instant noodle cooking procedure behind the packaging. Just in case, who knows I forgot something to ngestuck in the middle of the cooking process.
TLING'S!
There was another message notification. I went back to the bedroom and checked my phone.
Inbox || [Unknown Number]: Good night. I'll see u letter.
I kept wondering, who is this human who knows me so well?
