Deja Vu [ Lilian Ashley ]

Deja Vu [ Lilian Ashley ]
23. Drowned

I woke UP AGAIN.

Before I thought that death had come to me and would take me somewhere else, now it was different.

I saw a digital clock on the nightstand next to me that was on July 25, 12:00 p.m. Now it is daylight. My eyes looked around and found that I was in the hospital room. My hands were infused, my clothes changed into a patient uniform.

It's always this place.

The door opened and Kurt was present with a white package in both hands. His face was radiant, but the last time I saw him was crying. "You finally woke up. I brought you some porridge and some fruit."

Kurt placed the package and began to neatly arrange it on the nightstand next to me.

I sat down and looked at Kurt in confusion. "Why can I be treated like this?"

Kurt sat down next to my bed and poured chicken porridge on the bowl and started scooping it. "Sorry, you're like this because of me." I became confused because Kurt's words were so ambiguous. "You overdosed on the sedative I gave you. So, for the next few days, the doctor suggested to be hospitalized."

Kurt thrust a spoonful of porridge into my mouth. "Let's eat."

I finished the porridge without hesitation to make Kurt more cheerful.

The door opened and featured a head staring at this room as a whole. "Hallo's? Is there anyone?"

That is Vin.

When Vin saw me, he entered accompanied by three girls who were bowing their heads. "GWS, yes, Ashley. Because of the cave, elo so it's like this."

Vin beckoned the three girls behind him and the one who was carrying the bouquet stepped forward to me while thrusting the bouquet. I received flowers from her innocently and the girl looked down more than before.

"I'm sorry, yeah. We promise not to be evil anymore" said the girl who had given me a bouquet of flowers.

"Yes, please forgive us, yes" said the other two girls.

"They are very nicotine. Just try the Kurt does not tell the cave about this, surely they still dare to bother you," Vin said as he stared intently at the girls, as if scolding them.

I nodded and smiled a little. I am glad it is all over. "Yes, I'm sorry" I said.

"Fool." Vin thrust his hand to the fist bump at me. "Don't be long, Ley, it hurts. The kangen cave. I used to, yes, the cave again truant from the caffe. Entar pak manager ngeblack list cave. Cave pull first, bye."

Kubalas fist bump Vin cheerfully. The three Vin fan girls also gave their greetings and went out with Vin from my room.

A spoon touched my cheek, and it was Kurt who was waiting for me to open my mouth to feed me porridge.

"Thank you, yeah, Kurt." I devoured the porridge from Kurt's feed.

Kurt smiled at the sign responding to me.

For a whole day, Kurt was with me. Help me in everything and don't make me care at all. In the end, night came and Kurt said goodbye.

"If I could stay overnight, I'd be here until you could go home" Kurt said. "But how else. I have to go home."

Kurt stroked my head gently, not as rough as before. "But, do you want to go outside for a second?"

"Where?" my many. Now it's nine o'clock in the night. The twenty-five date will end. Is this a sign that I won't experience strange things again? I hope so.

"Wait, I'll get you a wheelchair. We go behind the hospital. There's a little artificial lake to entertain the patients." Kurt went out of the room and came back with the wheelchair he wanted.

I could have walked. But, maybe Kurt doesn't want to trouble me. Kurt helped me in my wheelchair and held my infusion pole. We walked out and used a special elevator for wheelchair users to get up or down the floor.

Since I was on the second floor, it wasn't too long to get to the main floor.

We finally arrived at the artificial lake area behind the hospital area. So broad and clean. There are many fireflies that decorate the garden around the lake. The moonlight also helped the beauty of this place and I became amazed at anyone who made the patient comfort place this good. The cool air adds a plus in calmness and restlessness to anyone who is here.

Kurt took me next to a park bench close to the edge of the lake. He sat on the bench, breathing lightly in the sight before him.

"It feels really calm" Kurt said with a big smile.

I remember that the place and position Kurt had seen back in the past at Kurt's cafe helped me make the stroberry sundae.

"That's great" I said, hypnotized by the sight before my eyes.

"Don't go in the middle of the lake." Kurt pointed to a wooden pier like a bridge that is on the middle. "Because this well is deep enough even if it's only man-made."

I nodded slowly. But, from the bottom of my heart, I want to see this lake further. Just look in the middle of it, there are some small boats and lotus flowers that I would love to touch. Kurt took my hand and I looked over. Our eyes looked at each other, as if I were looking at Kurt's pupils.

"If you don't remember how the memories we've lived before, but I still want to say." Kurt paused for a moment before continuing his sentence, "Ashley, do you want to be my life partner from now on?"

Not to give a stressful impression, but rather to calm. Guys who always think using logic and theory, now begin to express their feelings to the woman he likes. Despite the memory loss.

"If Ashley used to like you so much, why would I reject something that was clearly appropriate for myself?" I said with a smile to look at Kurt's joy after hearing the words from my mouth.

TRINGS!

The ringing sound of the phone broke the atmosphere coming from Kurt's pants pocket. Kurt picked up his phone call, then started talking seriously and his countenance changed 180°. He closed the speaker of his phone with one hand while looking at me.

"I want to talk to you for a second, wait, yeah." Not yet I answered his words, the man immediately moved away until the trunk of his nose was no longer visible.

My eyes looked back at the view of the lake that was reflecting the moonlight from the sky. Even if it's only a few seconds, I want more detail in looking around. I decided to get up from the wheelchair, and hold the wheeled iron stick that carried my infusion.

Slowly, I approached the edge of the lake until the reflection of my shadow was clearly visible. As if, I was looking in the mirror. Without a second thought, I went to the dock that Kurt had forbidden to approach. I wouldn't be stupid to jump into a well, or maybe the wood on this pier would be fragile until I got caught in the fateful way. Hospitals must pay close attention to their facilities for the safety of patients.

I sat at the end of the pier while wetting my fingertips with the water of a lake so cold. If I were healthy, maybe I'd stop by here. It felt like a vibration from the place I was sitting in and marked someone had walked on the dock. I had expected that this pier was not dangerous until someone came to him. Or it could be Kurt, I thought.

"Kurt, come. You forbid pleasant things" I said without looking.

The sound of discordant laughter had been heard to lure me to look back. Instead of Kurt, it was the person I didn't want to expect his presence from.

Zack again. Does he follow me everywhere I go?

"How are you? Just yesterday we met." The guy grinned wide. "It's like midnight and the twenty-sixth is about to start." Zack spoke with a smile so wide and it was horrible.

I was stunned and my eyes became more and more round. Not only surprised by his presence, but a mobile phone was in his hand which he put in his ear. She must have called Kurt and asked him to stay away from me.

So what does he mean by that date?

"Come on, just give up." Zack frowned in his eyes, bending his body and thrusting a cell phone into his hand. "Gue doesn't want to die in this world, so, just mending elo, huh?"

"What do you mean?!" ask me with high intonation.

The laughter I heard.

If he wanted to kill me, then why did he help me yesterday during the fall of iron in the construction area? What is the real purpose of him? Is it possible that he saved me for wanting me to be killed in his own hands? There are so many questions in my mind that I can hardly guess.

I opened my mouth to start screaming loudly for help, because the guy had already coded that he wanted to kill me.

BYUR!

I'm late. Zack kicked me with my heavy infusion pole into the well.

The artificial lake that I thought was low because the calmness of the water was quiet enough to destroy my hope of survival. If I move a lot, then my infusion will be problematic. Whether it was loose, or the opposite, that is my blood sucked up. That's hazardous.

In fact, I can't swim. I can only rely on my breath and lungs to survive. Water surrounds me with low light levels. It was so cold and it felt like my body was like a rock so heavy that it would slowly descend at the bottom of this water. Very deeply, I could feel the slowness of my body to touch the bottom and a little more would be out of breath to endure a very short period of consciousness.

The moonlight that looks beautiful in my eyes, is now starting to blur and disappear. My breath was gone, I started coughing and it felt like my lungs were going to burst from being filled with water and not being able to pump anymore. This water pressure is getting dizzy and hotter.

That's all I can do at a time like this.

In the end, I realized that I had felt this way before. It's just a dream, but it's like a prophecy that's about to happen. No, but it's definitely happening.
