"CAN you repeat?''
I fell silent to digest what Zack said. Her face that looked tired and relieved in looking at me had confused me to respond.
"You won't remember and it must be hard to trust me, right?'' zack said, looking up. I can only trust him because only Zack has lived with me in the world before. "You know what else, maybe fate would say that if we weren't going to be together."
"I've been trying to believe it, so can you explain it from the beginning?" I asked back.
Zack turned his body when the train was over and he walked away from me. I carefully passed the railroad tracks to catch up with him and walked side by side.
"I remember how we met for the first time" Zack said, "i'm just an artist and photographer looking for inspiration in this city. Then, I accidentally met you in front of the campus when you were about to leave for work. I was forced to wonder about the plans of this city for getting lost. However, such a small thing that makes me interested in you to be willing every day to become a customer in the cafe where you work."
I listened to Zack's words carefully so as not to feel our journey had passed many steps of stone stairs to the top garden which was not far from my apartment. We were standing near the edge of the guardrail. This place was so high that we could see the night view of the entire city that had shades of colorful light.
Zack pulled out a photo from his hoodie pocket and showed it to me. "Look, I photographed you here, at the same time as this too."
I looked at the photo and managed to make me shocked. It was the exact photo in the beginning of my weird dream before getting up and having this amnesia. Photos that burn to ashes. That girl is me, really me!
Now some fragments of the facts shown from the beginning have begun to unfold.
"That ...," I looked at Zack palely. "I."
"yes, it's you." Zack smiled broadly. "I often take pictures of you. Even after we formalize the relationship, more photos I take of you."
He keeps bringing his memories with me. To be honest, I'm starting to get confused.
"Then, how can we experience this paradox?" ask me to turn the topic around.
Zack frowned. "The paradox? Paradox what?"
"Kurt says if we experience ....,"
"Wrong." Zack cut my sentence. "What we experience is not a paradox. Paradox occurs in the same space of time, but it repeats itself due to a certain factor."
I was silent as a sign of not understanding.
"When we move not in the same space. We move from one world to another. You feel the difference, don't you?" Zack looked at me fixedly and I nodded. "We die and live together. Repeating time together, even moving together. We ...,"
I was listening and waiting for Zack's words to gasp. The guy in front of me stopped his words and his expression completely changed like he was possessed by something. His glaring eyes had become sharp, his thin smile turning wide like a wolf getting prey.
"We are the enemy!" snapped Zack while pushing me so hard that I fell over the guardrail.
He always helped me and warned me of all dangers. Even so, why would he harm me like this?
Unexpectedly, my hand was grabbed by Zack and managed to prevent me from falling from the height of this peak garden. I looked up and he started to panic and tried to pull me as hard as he could.
"Hold on!" exciting Zack. His nature was so ambiguous, what happened to him earlier? Obviously before he pushed me, so why now help me?
Instantly a crowd was present and people were popping up under me.
"Take it off, brother! We'll catch you!"
"Hey, everybody. Help the woman!"
"Come, Miss. Five people are ready to help you!"
The cries of the rescuers were heard and I began to intend to let go of Zack's grip to fall and get caught by those below. Instead of detaching, Zack tightened his grip on me.
"Don't let go! You won't survive if you fall that way. Relax, I'm trying to pull you!" pinta Zack is the one who makes me dumbfounded. "It's appropriate that we're not close together like this!"
"why?" I started to put out the word I always threw at Zack. "Why is your attitude ambiguous like this? Actually, you want to save me or kill me?"
"Of course kill you," said Zack who was barely heard by me accompanied back to display a sinister expression while releasing his hand from me.
"Catch him, get him!"
"She fell!"
The panicked cries from the people at the bottom could not bother me from the focus of my gaze on Zack who was walking away indifferently. He seems to have a dual personality that is opposite in dealing with me. Maybe not like anymore, but really a multiple personality!
Unknowingly I had touched the ground when I was caught by the good guys. I can only be pensive in watching Zack treat me. In my silence, everyone guessed that the shock of falling from a height was quite dangerous.
"Sister, would you like to take her home?" said a middle-aged woman who broke my mind about Zack.
"Oh no need, thank you, madam." After responding, I immediately ran away to catch up with Zack who was certainly not far from me.
I knew that whenever he could put my life at risk, but I removed the consequences in order to get a clear description of my life.
Luckily, this road was not a bend until I could see Zack's back. After running for quite a while, I was able to approach him and hold him to walk.
"No way," I firmly stared at him fixedly. "Please, explain again in detail about the life we live."
"I can say it on my phone. However, you must promise not to approach me." Zack answered me as I walked away and held his arm.
"Don't lie. You don't even have my number."
"No, I have." I was stunned after hearing this sentence that came out from the mouth of this guy in front of me.
On my cell phone contact was obviously just a number I knew. When an unknown number called me, it was clearly the Mystery. Hold still.
Zack was the one who gave me warnings frequently and if I remember, there are also people who always give me warnings but text message lines on mobile phones before.
"You ...," I stared fixedly at Zack. "You're the sender of the first message warning me about the hospital, aren't you?"
Zack fell silent and that meant what I thought was the truth.
"Wantas, why only now do you dare to show yourself to directly warn me?" I'm with quick intonation.
"Because if text messages are useless to protect you from death, then I'm forced to meet you directly." Zack turned to look at me. "Didn't you see the effect if we were close together? Your death Ashley! Your death! Not only is the world rejecting your life, but so am I!"
Death, the world rejected me, and Zack did too. I'm getting less and more clueless about what's coming out of my opponent's mouth.
Reflek my forehead shriveling. "What do you mean the world rejected my life?"
"You must be aware that from the opening of your eyes on the 20th to the present, death has always begged you everywhere. Until when the world kills you, you wake up with time counted backwards until the beginning where your eyes open." Zack breathed a heavy sigh. "The world doesn't want you to live past the 30th, Ashley! Be aware!"
So, during the 20th to 29th, my life was in danger.
"Then why are you rejecting my life?" my sergeant.
"It's not me." Zack turned his face. "But the devil that dwells in my body who rejects your presence wherever the world I tread."
What does it mean from wherever the world is? Did he say if this world already had numbers.
"You mean, multiple personalities, don't you?" After saying that sentence from my mouth, again a vile face on Zack appeared. It was the demon he said just now.
"Yes!" said Zack, no. He's not Zack. "I'm the other side of this idiot! I showed up because I couldn't feel the pain of death if you lived! The world becomes unbalanced when I live with you, you fucking lady*n!"
He called Zack 'Stupid'.
"Because of me?" my way of speaking began to stutter as fear began to creep at me as the creepy humans before me began to strangle me when the streets were empty.
"I'm tired of feeling death just because of you. Tired, sick, and disappointing! This idiot is so obsessed with you that he doesn't care how tormented I am when he repeatedly lets you live quietly while I die to take your place! You should be sensitive and just die. The world doesn't want you!" The grip of this man's hand grew so strong that I had trouble breathing. I saw a sad look from his face and continued his vile remarks. "You die without feeling anything, and I die in excruciating pain. Then, how irritating is the idiot in this body when you die, he commits suicide when the world has given him a chance to live!"
Now I'm beginning to understand what this guy in front of me is talking about. She's sick of the pain of her death if I make it past the 29th of July. The world wants to kill me, but if it doesn't work, then Zack will be my replacement. In the end, nature was out of balance when we both died and no one lived either. Zack must have been wiped out by the world before I died.
Suddenly there was the sound of screaming numbering more than two people to make the hand that strangled me become loose.
"Hey, stop that guy!"
"Let go! That woman could die if you giggle!"
"He must be a scuttle!"
The wrangling on my neck came loose and the person in front of me threw me away. "Because you and I died together, our souls were thrown into another parallel world and went back to face the same thing over and over again! Therefore, you must die and let me survive by preventing this idiot from coming to his senses!"
He ran away, while I coughed and inhaled oxygen greedily. The helpers in which a horde of old men had been present by my side and asked my current condition.
"Do you remember the characteristics of the evil man?" ask one of the men.
"Don't be afraid, just say it. We'll report it to the police" said another.
Can't do. I'm not going to give up Zack who's surviving like me. If thrown in jail, what deserves is the evil side. However, he was just a poor and frustrated personality due to death until an evil nature to maintain his life was forced to emerge.
"Sa-me," I'm chiming in the words that will come out of my mouth. "I don't remember. Sorry."
Everyone around me who might number 5 looks unrelieved and looks at each other.
"Alright, at least you survived. Don't wander around at night like this, miss," said one of the men.
"There's not usually a thug here. Looks like we're gonna have to patrol."
Now everyone's dispersed and I hurriedly booked a taxi home because it was dangerous when Zack's evil side still appeared.
Now it's still a puzzle as to why my previous memory disappeared.
