31. Tour for the Eternal Time

I freshen up by taking a slow breath, then exhaling it slowly.

Now I've learned not to judge something if I get it at a glance. Zack must have had further explanations in his words. There's no way he'd intentionally kill me or make me amnesiac if he had any love for me.

"Explain in detail" I urged Zack.

Silent for a moment, no response but the call on the phone is still connected. In the end, came the sound of loose laughter possessed by the other side of Zack. Again he appeared.

"Hallo?"

No sound in a second.

"You'll find out later, Ashley. I'll see you later."

The call was interrupted by Zack turning off the phone first. I felt that Zack was really overwhelmed by his double personality that came up impromptu in a short period of time. Very opposite nature and no one is willing to give up because it has each important reason.

I have to prepare myself for the tour tomorrow. I took out a suitcase and put on some clothes. One day, I ate the bread I took from the kitchen to increase my stamina. Then clean yourself with a shower and get ready to go to the cafe clair de lune. I'd better announce the tour today so that the problems I face will be resolved as soon as possible.

A short drive by taxi I ordered online in case of some calamity, including Zack's actions that could harm me. Now during the trip, I contacted the travel party to book a mini bus that will be used tomorrow tour. After arriving, I peeked directly at the main part of the caffe, and I was greeted by Vin and Kai.

"Say the manager is sick, where are you coming?" vin said with a feeling of worry.

Just as Sherly and Megan came to me.

"Well, Manager if sick do not force yourself to handle the caffe. We can arrange it ourselves." Megan.

I appreciate their concern even though it looks like a mode to get a good impression as an employee. Like the boss, I ordered them to return to their respective positions and do not need to think about my healthy condition.

"DJ, come on over." I called the DJ formally, then came to me politely. "Do you know which tour we're going to take?"

"To the highlands, the suburban mountains to watch the leonid meteor. Actually tonight's going down, but it looks like it's going to be a few days down the meteor." DJ answered me by lowering the volume of his voice.

My head nodded defining understanding the DJ's speech and allowing him to return to work.

The normal daily life by coordinating everything, did not escape also I saw the presence of Zack as a customer who is very familiar with everyone. Then, it was final to close the cafe and announce the tour as the initial plan of the mission.

"Woi-woi, told to gather with Miss Manager!" yelled River who represented me to gather all the employees who were preparing to go home.

Everything lined up in line and put up an ear to wait for the announcement to be heard.

"Alright, sorry to make delaying your departure to go home and rest. However, now I will announce that the employee tour is held and tomorrow we leave at 06:00 am." After I made the announcement, no one protested or commented.

It seems like they have been preparing for the tour since the beginning and without knowing I just canceled it first.

My orders were to go to the cafe so early because I didn't want Zack to know about my departure. As I thought, is my present life the same as the world I first traveled? When I was on the employee tour, Zack joined me in secret. That means that the Norn organization plan has failed due to Zack who did not come to the cafe, actually followed until the tour.

May I succeed and find all the answers to the secrets I have lost from my memory.

"All right, you can go home. Good night," I said, and everyone broke up. "And no one can bring a friend! Remember that!"

Had Vin brought his fans, it would have been very dangerous for me.

"You did a great job" whispered the DJ to me who was the last person to leave the cafe.

The guy drove me home to the apartment and said goodbye without staying as a guest. Yeah, she's very different from Kai and River who used to be my lovers. But never mind, different people are different natures.

Without any hindrance, I rested myself until I woke up in the morning on July 24. There are still six days left to escape the dangers of the world. Even though I'm traveling without Zack, I believe I can definitely protect myself.

Early in the morning, all the caffe employees had gathered in front of the caffe with sleepiness. Especially the guys like Kai and River who stand parallel while sticking their heads together as support so as not to fall while asleep half-conscious.

"Wake up, Miss Manager has arrived," Kurt's command that looks not sleepy at all. Naturally, he is a very diligent and disciplined guy. Waking up at this hour was not difficult for him.

Megan and Sherly blink their eyes. River gasped in shock, while Kai fell asleep. On the other hand, Vin looks fresh while staring at his phone in front of the alley next to the caffe.

"Let's get on the mini bus. You slept happily during the trip." DJ coordinates all employees.

I stuffed the suitcase into the trunk of the mini bus and said, "why did you guys come early?"

It's still 05:58 and they've arrived in front of the caffe, aren't they too diligent.

"Fear of being left." Megan nodded as she swept her eyes.

"We're sleepy, it could be myopic when looking at the clock. Well, afraid Miss Manager rampaged and immediately pulled linggalin," said Kai who had awoken from his sleep.

River punched Kai in the arm. "Not lie. Actually we asked to be built by nyokap at 05:50, but instead told to wake up at 04:00"

The sound of a small laugh responds to River's speech because it is so funny their nyokap actions are a little outrageous in waking up his son so early. No exception with me, because it was still too early and quiet, I could only help but laugh.

Suddenly I remembered the faces of the two of them that I had met when River took me to his house. A completely gray memory.

Now everyone has entered the mini bus and I am with Vin who is the last. Vin looked grim in his phone and I decided to ask.

"What's up, Vin? Why does it look sad?" my many.

Instantly Vin smiled frantically and immediately put his phone in the jacket pocket. "No, Manager. Just ...,"

"Tell me if there's anything that doesn't make you comfortable. What about this tour?" I said by looking at Vin gently.

Vin smiled wryly. "I feel a little sad because the Manager does not allow to bring friends to the tour."

When I went on tour first, Vin was so uncomfortable with his fans who forced him to come with the reason he could pay. But, there was no way that this time he was so comfortable with those bully girls.

"You want to bring your fansgirl?" my sergeant surprised Vin.

"No, Manager. There's just one." Vin scratched his nape with a cake. "I just want to get close by."

My mouth reflexes showed a smile. "Is one of your friends Zeha?"

My guess must not be wrong. Moreover, Crystal has said that Vin underwent HTS or relationship without status with Zeha.

"The manager can tell?" Vin soared in shock to stammer. "Well, fortune teller manager, here."

My laughter gushed and I kept working on it with a small volume. "Here you go, let's go inside."

Finally, everything was complete and our departure towards the suburban mountains would arrive in the next few hours.

Travel with various turns, climbs, to sudden stops do not make all passengers on this mini bus disturbed will sleep them. Arriving at the location, everyone looked fresh due to getting a satisfied sleep even if only two hours more. Then we headed to the villa I had already ordered. Only one building, but there are many bedrooms, a spacious kitchen as well as a very large dining table. Just like the first tour I took.

Just like my guess, Kai and River must have come to the billiard table which could be seen immediately when opening the entrance. Even they do not care about the suitcase that is immediately put away.

"Choose each of your rooms. One room at least three people, yes. Then, clean up because soon we will have breakfast together," I said and got a nod simultaneously from all of them.

The commotion has begun.

"Sherly, come together. I can't sleep alone." Megan tugged at Sherly's hand.

"So spoiled base," Sherly scorned in a joking tone.

Not to forget about the boys.

Vin embraces Kurt. "The same cave as Kurt. Because we both slept with the lights off."

"Sleeping with the lights off is healthier" Kurt chimed in with an aura of intelligence.

"Come DJ, same with us." Vin took the DJ who had occupied his suitcase in watching the commotion of everyone.

DJ started laughing. "Courtesy there are only two. Where do you want to put me? The floor?"

"Yes, if you want to, not pa-pa," said Vin who is quite annoying but funny.

Everyone entered their respective rooms of choice and the DJ stood next to me who was still standing to monitor the surroundings.

"Everyone has their own bedroom. I don't have it" said DJ. "If you can't be alone, then ...,"

He must have thought we'd be one room. Two people of different gender in one room is very dangerous and should be avoided.

"There are still two rooms, use one." I answered seriously. "Each of us can use it."

"Gue was just kidding," the DJ replied as he stroked my head. "Gue go in first."

Until now I wasn't sure if that guy had feelings for me. Just for a temporary job, if all was done, he would have said goodbye to me later.

I also took care of the things and coordinated to go to the nearest small restaurant. When we arrived, we found a buffet system that could take as much as possible with just a time limit. Yeah, of course the pay is covered by me.

The dining table has four chairs. I first took food with toast, a small box of butter as a spread, kidney beans and fruit salad. Snacks are better for breakfast. But, different from the others. Especially Kai who became the center of attention of the waiters. He took rice, grilled chicken, noodle soup with a bowl, steak, and some other very mountainous proteins.

"Want to eat or rob?" ask the DJ who is surprised in staring at the innate Kai until it needs a tray.

"Protein for muscle is important." Kai answered lightly. "Let's not loyo like lo."

DJ's eyes glanced cynically. "My body is bigger than elo times."

Without continuing their fruitless dispute, I approached the two-seat desks of Sherly and Megan. When I saw Megan's plate with only vegetable salad and beef-eye eggs, I smiled as I remembered that Megan was a real diet-mad girl.

"Hallo, I'm sitting here, huh?" I said as I sat in front of the two of them.

"Sure, Miss Manager. Go ahead," welcome Sherly who's starting to look up at my plate. While the plate looks normal which contains rice, soto and sus cakes. "Is the diet manager like Megan?"

I shook my head slowly. "Breakfast is better to eat snacks."

"The manager's body is very good, the goals are. So envious." Megan replied with awe.

I never thought about body posture. Maybe it's because my brain is only focused on thinking about this enigmatic life.

"Yes, really. This beautiful manager doesn't have a girlfriend?" asked Sherly in a seductive tone.

I couldn't answer that question and I was confused how to answer honestly. At the same time, DJ was present and sat down next to me while putting his plate on the table.

"Pusing sat down with Kai and River. They're too noisy" complained DJ. "Pick each other food until you forget your own plate has not been touched at all."

They are cute, yet compact brothers. I can't forget how they were like in my previous life. Am I the same as before as being their childhood friend?

"Hey, DJ." Megan called. "According to you, Miss manager as beautiful as this does have to have a boyfriend, no?

Spontaneous DJ turned to me with a plain face. "It seems to have it, huh."

Silenced, that's all I can do. Or another way not to answer their words is to eat toast that I forgot to put butter on.

In a short time we finished breakfast. Next, head back to the villa and start preparing for a barbeque event before climbing to watch the leonid meteor. After being ready to arrange barbeque tools and materials, we all went to a small lake that was visited by quite a lot of visitors.

As much as possible I stay away from areas of water and crowds that risk endangering my life. It could be that I fell into the water like in the lake first, or maybe got stabbed by someone in the crowd. Even though I'm too paranoid, it's better just in case. Just like River, he rode a duck boat on the lake and now splashed to laughter by Kai. If it was me, it might have drowned and lost its life.

"Manager, this tour must be held often" said Megan with a mouth full of cotton sugar. Even though at breakfast, the menu is so healthy for the diet.

"All right, no problem" I replied kindly.

"By the way, why has Miss Manager changed her attitude lately?" Kurt asked me who I didn't realize was right next to me.

This guy has intelligence in analyzing. I have to be careful with him.

"Changes in human attitudes do have certain factors, indeed" I replied as wisely as possible. "And there is no obligation for me to mention these factors.

Kurt smiled. "Sorry, Miss. I'm too involved."

TRINGS!

My phone rang and meant a message notification popped up.

Inbox || [Unknown Number] : Why is your caffe closing?

This is a message from Zack and I also forgot to save the number. Just know that I remembered the operation plan that the Norn organization would carry out. Why haven't they opened the caffe until now? Is it because I didn't give them the keys?

Ah, yes. I forgot about that.

Immediately I approached the DJ who was chatting with tourists using a foreign language.

"DJ." JN." I pulled the tip of DJ's shirt until he turned to me. The DJ quickly ended the conversation and immediately responded to me. "Gue forgot to give the caffe key to the Norn members."

"Oh, I'm giving it to Zeha anyway" replied the DJ who relieved me. "Why is that?"

"But, why hasn't the caffe been opened yet Zack said?"

DJ's forehead shriveled, then he pulled out his phone hurriedly and directly pressed someone's contact to call.

"Hallo, Crystal."

A small sound was heard. "Why, DJ? Any issues?"

"Why haven't you opened the caffe until now? The target has checked the caffe," urged the DJ with serious facial water.

"Okay, I'm the same as the others OTW. I guess it's better the night because it's not too crowded."

I hurriedly interrupted. "Don't, Zack could be suspicious why the late caffe opened. After all we are gone three days and there is still plenty of time. Maybe tomorrow is better. I'll let him know if the caffe opens tomorrow."

The DJ nodded in agreement and immediately said what I said to Crystal. My ears heard Crystal approve the proposal and turned off the phone.

I quickly sent a message.

Sent to Zack: Sorry, it's a holiday. Tomorrow comes because it will open again.

My message was almost answered instantly.

Inbox || Zack: Okay. But where are you?

Sent to Zack: In the apartment. Take it easy, Zack.

There was no choice but to say that I was in the apartment because there was no way Zack would be monitoring me in there. As if I answered somewhere else like the campus, he would definitely approach the place just to monitor me.
