Relationships are like bird

If you hold too tight, they die

If you hold too loosely, they fly

If you hold them with care,

They will remain

Forever

(*The relationship is like a bird

If you hold on too tight, you'll die

If you hold it too loose, it will fly

But if you hold it with attention, then,

Then it will stay beside you

Forever)

On a sunny Sunday morning, Ella and her family were already preparing to welcome their guests from Malang. Brother and sister-in-law Roni and their two daughters. There is no special preparation of the real one because indeed the purpose of their arrival is only to be in touch. Plus the leftover pastries of yesterday's shedding are still many and can be used as a treat.

Around ten in the morning a mitsubishi xpander stopped and parked in front of Ella's house. And soon Ella's bell rang, indicating their guests had arrived.

Ella immediately ran from her room to open the door for her guests. He found Roni, Zahreni, Wildan, and two cute bangs there.

"Welcome, let's go in." Ella allowed her guests to enter.

Reni hands a large fruit parcel to Ella and the two of them make each other cupiki as a warm greeting. While Wildan just nodded politely at Ella as a greeting. Roni also grinned with an indistinct smile entering the house. While the cute duo shyly hide behind his Oni om.

"Let's just sit down, I'll call mom and dad for a second." Ella invites him before entering the house to call her parents. Then Ella went to the kitchen to prepare treats for her guests.

Ella prepared a sweet cold drink and some slices of cheese cake and chocolate cake in a tray, then drove it to the living room. Put it on the table for the guests. Then Ella joined in, taking a seat on one of the sofas.

Ella observed the atmosphere of the living room, it seemed like each self-introduction session was over. Both Reni and Wildan were having a light conversation with their parents. Common topics discussed everyday. While Roni was just smiling while occasionally chiming in on their conversation.

"Let's go ahead and have the dish foyed, don't look at it." Lilik invited his guests.

"Eh Aish, is Nisa salim not the same aunt Ella and grandparents? Let's salim first." Wildan ordered his two daughters. Deliberately not forcing her daughter too early to say hello. Waiting for them to adapt.

The two little girls timidly approached Papa and mama Ella. Kissing papa's hand and Ella's mama alternating shyly. Then they also approached Ella to kiss her hand, then continued to hug Ella's body, kissing Ella's cheek also with affection.

"Aunt Ella, Aish kangen!" aisha said after releasing her embrace from Ella.

"She's kangen too!" Nisa doesn't want to lose.

"Tante Ella misses you too." Ella kissed the cheeks of the two little girls before her in a fit of anxiety. Release the taste of his kangen on them.

"Eh, he said he wanted to give a gift to Aunt Ella?" Reni this time questioned her daughters.

"Yepinyaaa..." The two little girls ran back to his mother's side. Take something from there. Then they returned to Ella's face, offering gifts in hand.

Aisha presented a bouquet of medium-sized fresh roses with a safe and successful inscription dr. Ella. While Anisa also offered a teddy bear wearing a long-sleeved snelli (doctor's suit) which signifies as a specialist. The doll also wears a sash on her body with the inscription of Ella's full name and title.

"Thank you, thank you very much for the gift." Ella received the gifts with awe.

The two little girls laughed in excitement in response then took a seat near Ella. Not going back to her parents.

"That's funny, beautiful and pretty again." Lilik follow-up is anxious to see the behavior of the two little girls Roni's nephew.

"Look, sir, ma'am..." Wildan started the conversation. "The purpose of our arrival this time is only purely as a friendship effort and connect the brotherhood only really."

"When the day did Ella had to play also to our house, Suherman residence to visit. We were very pleased with Ella's visit. We also consider him part of our family. Therefore we also want to play here to get acquainted with the family in Ella in Surabaya," continued Wildan.

"Well, I'm very happy with what you mean. Glad to add a brother." Bowo welcomed Wildan's words.

"If you happen to stop by or there is a need in Surabaya, monggo please stop by here." Bowo offered himself.

"Asik, cool! We play at Aunt Ella's house again sometime if we miss." Nisa responded to Bowo's speech with excitement.

"Aish wants to come!" Aishah.

"Shhh...Nisa, Aish, if papa and grandpa are talking you can't interrupt. Shut up and be a good boy." Reni reprimands her two daughters, feeling bad about the sassness of those who like to interrupt parents' conversation.

"No pa-pa, they are both children. Don't be so hard on them." Lilik did not mind the behavior of the two little girls, even more anxious. Bowo nodded in agreement to his wife's words.

"Yes sir. Thank you so much for the offer." Wildan resumed their conversation.

"But we really hope later that we have the opportunity to come here again with more complete family personnel. Wildan continued.

It seemed to be deliberately using a slightly enigmatic language and contained a code hidden behind his speech. Want to try them want to explore with a complete family? Must be for a proposal, right? To propose to Ella as their daughter-in-law of course.

Both Bowo, Lilik and Ella could only fall silent at Wildan's words. They know and understand the meaning of that word. Confused to answer how to try?

It's impossible to support, isn't it? It's impossible to allow them to come propose to Ella right? Especially with Ella who blatantly prefers Ardi over Roni. Coupled with Ardi who has also openly expressed his intention to propose to Ella.

But to directly refuse raw is also not possible. Too rude and disrespectful if done.

"Roni and Ella have known each other for too long and have been together a lot since. They even wandered around everywhere. It felt too dangerous and inappropriate to behave like that for a man and woman who were not his muhrim." Wildan again said in a more urgent tone.

But the reason he was put forward by him was indeed true and very reasonable. Bowo as a good father certainly also strongly approve of Wildan's remarks.

" I agree with Son Wildan this time. And I also actually said this to son Roni. Isn't that right, Roni?" Bowo asked Roni for reassurance. And Roni immediately quickly nodded confirming Bowo's speech.

"But as a parent, I still can't force everything on Ella or Roni. I can't make a decision that will have a huge impact on their lives going forward."

"I'd rather let them make their own decisions. Because they are both adults and can take responsibility for their decisions. Because after all, the two of them will also undergo the results of their decision. Where will their relationship go next." Bowo stressed his choice to give complete freedom to Ella and Roni.

"That's right Mr. Wibowo. I also strongly agree. There should be no element of coercion in the relationship of two people. There must be sincerity and acceptance from both parties then the goodwill of a more serious relationship can be done." Wildan appreciated Bowo's decision.

"Now I'm asking you, Ron. How's it? Are you really ready to move on to the next relationship?" Wildan ensured Roni's ability and readiness.

"If I'm ready. Just waiting for Ella's decision." Roni answered. If he is clearly ready from the beginning. But what about Ella? Ella had always been filled with turmoil and doubt in their relationship.

Wildan smiled and nodded in satisfaction at Roni's reply. Then Wildan's gaze turned to Ella and questioned the girl. "Keep for Ella's own deck how?"

Ella was silent for a while, thinking about how it was best to speak her heart honestly but also not hurt too much for Roni and her family to hear. Ella forced her brain to load faster in thinking and stringing words that were good to hear.

"I'm sorry...I, I'm still not ready." Ella finally answered while bowing her head deeply.

"I'm asking for a little time. I feel there's still a lot I have to discuss and I'm talking to Roni in private." Ella added while continuing to bow. Dare not to raise his eyes. Not daring to see the facial expressions of Roni and her sisters who must have been very disappointed to hear the answer from her.

Both Roni, Reni and Wildan could only fall silent and not react to Ella's reply. What's the matter? What happened to Ella? Why is it as if this girl is back in doubt about her relationship with Roni? Long enough they were silent while thinking about Ella's words inside each other's heads.

"Then we should just do it to give them a little more time. Looks like there's still something stuck and they should talk both out of it." Bowo finally responded, breaking the sudden silence.

"There seems to be no other way. We can only wait until the two find an agreement. And hopefully their decision will be the best for both." Wildan would not agree.

But in his heart Wildan felt unsettled by this decision as well. Somehow Wildan felt that this time Ella instead wanted to delay and ask for time like the last time they met. This time Ella's answer felt more like a smoothed rejection of her language.

"A relationship cannot be forced. Cannot be held too tightly, but also can not be too loose. A relationship must be based on trust and feelings of love for each other to last and forever." Bowo put forth his wisdom and advice.

And everyone present in the living room was compactly nodding, agreeing to the truth of the remark. They were silent, trying to understand and pervade the meaning of the words Bowo that felt very hearty.

"Nisa, Aish, you two are hungry yet? That's grandma Masakin's got a lot of good food for you." Lilik who broke the silence this time. Trying to melt the atmosphere.

"We'll have lunch, yuk!" Continue to bring the two little girls.

"What is the granny cooking?" Nisa asked curiously.

"much-various. There is meatball soup, there is chicken krispi, there are squid tongseng, there are many more kinds. Surely guaranteed to be delicious." Lilik promotes its cooking.

"Wah Meatball....Want...Nisa wants to eat! Can you ma?" Nisa looks excited and hungry all at once. But the little girl did not forget to ask permission from her mother, afraid to make her mother angry.

"Aish wants ya ma too, I want a chicken chrispy." Aish also followed her mother's whining.

Reni smiled widely and nodded this time in response to her two daughters. No objection to their request.

"Let's go ahead, everyone. We just move to the dining room. Let everyone know how good it tastes aunt Ella hehe's cooking." Bowo invited guests to attend the lunch. Ending their semi-formal conversation session becomes a cordial one.

"Which aunt Ella's cooking is?" Roni asked curiously. Ella's feelings are not the type of girl who hobbies in the kitchen and cooking pinter.

"That's the fried tempe." Lilik answered casually. And all who heard him laughed at once. Making Ella Manyun into a joke.

"Yeee, but I'm helping you cook everything. Just mama's part of bumbuhin hehe." Ella tried to defend herself.

"Then it's safe to eat." Roni interrupted and everyone laughed again.
