...When she was just a girl,
she expected the world,
But it's flew away from her reach,
So she ran away in her sleep,
and dreamed of Para-paradise, para-paradise, para-paradise,
para-paradise...
Sayup sayup heard the chant of a song from the music player in Ardi's car that drove fast splitting the dark and cold of the night. Ella was sitting awkwardly in the passenger seat next to Ardi who was driving her car.
Ever since sitting down and entering the car, either Ella or Ardi had simply fallen silent. Both of them were busy with their respective thoughts and were too shy to start the conversation. Confused and awkward should choose what topics to discuss and discuss.
"And dream of para-paradise. Para-paradise."
Suddenly, Ardi sang the song that was playing. Duet with Chris Martin, the vocalist of Cold play who voiced melodious.
"Para-paradise." Ardi just kept humming. Regardless of the quality of his voice that is not at all comparable to the vocalist. Ardi continued to hum without any embarrassment.
"Para-paradise." Without realizing it, as if hypnotized Ella also sang. Follow the reference to Paradise song from cold play.
"Do you know this song too, El?" Ask Ardi after being satisfied to sing the ref part of the song.
"Yes, I like it a lot because it's a good song to hear."
"This is my favorite song. When you hear this song, you can imagine heaven...Well even though I love all the Cold play songs." Ardi turned to Ella and showed off her sparkling smile like a toothpaste advertisement.
"If I prefer the hymn of the week end or something just like this" Ella replied.
Why does it feel there is a little 'click' in Ella's heart when she knows Ardi's music tastes are more or less the same as her. Ok music connect, one point.
"Good taste. I love that song too." Said Ardi getting excited after successfully melting the atmosphere. Finally he found a topic to talk to Ella.
"Where did you cost here?"
"On Dahlia street housing Green View. I signed a house with Dr. Intan who was in the ER," replied Ella lightly.
Ella also began to feel comfortable to chat with Ardi. "Why indeed?"
"Yes, we're just looking for food in a nearby area. It's been quite a night, not good for a girl like you to wander this late."
"A girl like me?" Ella asked a little uncomfortable with Ardi's words this time.
"I can tell by one look that you're a good girl, El. I just don't want to ruin your good name if you get caught out last night with a guy." Ardi could catch Ella's displeased tone. He tried to explain the meaning of his words earlier with a slightly confused tone, all wrong.
"Didih, Ardi mocked huh? It's still 9 p.m. Not that late. I'm an adult anyway. Ardi thinks, how old am I?" Ella laughed lightly, a little amused at Ardi's reply.
"How old is Ella? It's as old as what?" Ardi retorted seductively with a little naughty.
Well, why even ask? Though as remember Ella, she had given biodata to the guy during the initial introductory chat time. Why do I still have to ask again?
"24 years. I've been allowed to watch 21 plus adult movies" Ella replied.
"Still young. I'm older, I'm 27 now." Said Ardi in a slightly arrogant tone. It was as if he had won a race with a higher value than Ella, the race who was the oldest.
Ella inevitably held back her laughter hearing Ardi's reply.
"If in Surabaya, out at this hour is still reasonable," Ella said. Somehow Ella had not felt too awkward anymore towards Ardi, as if the two of them had known each other long enough.
Ardi's friendly, relaxed, and easy going car was able to make Ella feel comfortable to be near him.
"Surabaya is a big and crowded city. Unlike this city, here it is deserted at this hour. You better not go out alone tonight." Ardi explained in a slightly worried tone.
"There's a lot of mugging and motor theft these days, and the targets are mostly women."
"Current time? How horrible is that?" Ella became a little scared as well after hearing the unexpected information from Ardi. Moreover, it is a road that is usually passed every day from RSUD G to rented houses including deserted areas with rice fields on the left right of the road.
"Yes, that's why you go home alone and ride the bike not at night." Ardi slightly emphasized his sentence, giving a warning.
"Ok, ready boss." replied Ella in a carefree tone.
I don't know why Ella was so happy to know Ardi was worried about her safety. This indicates that the guy is a little interested and gives attention to himself.
"What are we going to eat tonight?" ask Ardi to ask Ella's wish.
"Hmmmm, because it's night how do we eat something warm?" Ella gave me advice.
"Can. I'm an eater of all kinds of food, as long as it's delicious hehe." Ardi replied with a little joking.
"It's delicious why not?" answered Ella lightly.
For Ella there is no problem to eat at any stall. Not necessarily in a clean and sterile expensive restaurant. Maybe the habit of living as a student who teaches a simple lifestyle.
And the result is that Ella's body is immune and does not get sick easily even though eating in any place. As if his body had formed its own antibodies, the survivor lives kere.
"Deal, then we'll just go there." Ardi turned his car into a small stall reading 'Soto Ayu' on the right side of the road. Parked his car in front of the stall and invited Ella down from the car.
'Crazy ni girl, have doctors, cute, cool to chat, not jaim again' in the heart Ardi increasingly admire and praise the charm of Ella.
Ardi immediately ordered two bowls of soto plus two glasses of orange ice for the two of them. "That's all kinds of satay, satay innards, satay rempelo ati, intestinal satay, until satay egg quail is also there. Which one do you want?" Ardi offered Ella some skewers from the serving table to the plastic plates she had prepared.
"Sate telor quail and intestines only. Don't forget the crackers" replied Ella while holding back her drool that was about to drip so hungry. Plus the delicious aroma of soto that billows throughout the stalls increasingly makes his stomach rumble.
Shortly afterwards Ardi took a seat in the right seat opposite Ella. Ardi placed a plate of satay piles with various shapes on the table of the two of them.
'Well, you were asking which one if in fact all this?' was taken?' ella's inner half giggled to see the contents of the plastic plate full of satay that Ardi brought.
"I'm so hungry. I haven't eaten anything since lunch." Ardi explained with a timid face as soon as he realized Ella's astonished look to see the contents of her plate.
Soon the waiter brought two bowls of still-hot chicken soto with steam billowing from his bowl to their table.
"It looks good this," said Ella smelled the soto scent before her before starting to taste and eat the food.
Whether because of hunger or because of the so delicious taste of soto, they both immediately devoured and could not stop devouring until the contents of their soto bowl. The pile of satay and crackers that had been taken by Ardi were also completely crushed and finished by a pair of hungry creatures.
"Hahaha, you're crazy to eat it too. Rarely is there a girl who can eat quickly and not jaim like you." Ardi laughed crazily while sipping his orange ice.
Ardi was more curious about the girl in front of him, the girl who was so honest with her condition, without the need to maintain the image at all.
"I'm full," Ella patted her stomach lightly. "Selera mas Ardi can also be this," he continued.
"How do you mean?"
"Food taste. Really good soto. Means you could ask for a good food record in the area sometime, hehe."
"Oah. Take it easy later you I take culinary around the area here. Surely satisfied even your fat sampe later."
"Ouch. Don't want to ah, I'll be fat."
"No problem. Even if you're fat, I still want to be with you." Ardi suddenly felt foolishly aware of himself speechlessness.
"What do you mean?" Ella was actually very happy to hear Ardi's words. But his pride reminds him not to be easily wrestled by a man, let alone a new one. Finally Ella acted indifferently, pretentiously insensitive.
"Yes, that means I want to nemenin you culinary," replied Ardi slightly diverting the conversation.
"It's late now, El. I'd better get back home." Ardi moved from his chair, to the cashier and paid their bills.
"The next time I pay," Ella approached Ardi at the cashier and walked to the car park. Ella is an independent modern woman, she doesn't like to owe anyone.
"Can. Don't regret you later, I ate a lot." Ardi walked leisurely to the parking lot and entered his car. Ella got into the car, took a seat next to the driver.
After that the car drove fast towards Ella's contract which turned out not so far away. Not ten minutes they had arrived in front of the rented house. Along the way the two of them were more silent, perhaps because the satiety made them a little sleepy and lazy to talk. Only occasionally humming following the music that is playing.
"Yes to Ardi. Thank you so much for being treated to a meal and delivered home" said Ella before getting out of the car.
"Tomorrow what time are you guarding?"
"Tomorrow the night watch. 8 O'clock at night. Indeed why?" Ella astonishment.
"Tomorrow I'll pick you up here, all the way to dinner again."
"Don't mas, it will even trouble Ardi mas. Tomorrow I take the g*jek to RSUD."
"No problem, you go home from work. My house is in line with RSUD G. Anyway I promised to take you tomorrow" replied Ardi clean hard.
"OK then. See you tomorrow." Ella got out of the red car, then waved her hand as it walked away.
Glad and flowery Ella entered her rented house. She didn't expect her first date with Ardi to go surfing.
Didn't think that Ardi was such an interesting and fun guy. Handsome face plus one, tall body plus one, good posture plus one, good music taste plus one, cool to chat plus one, good, Ella giggles herself calculating and remembering the value and advantages of Ardi.
And again it seems Ardi's reaction to him is also quite positive, proof that the man still wants to pick him up and take him to dinner tomorrow.
"Aaaaaah looks like I'm going to have a good dream tonight" Ella muttered while smiling to herself like crazy.
