Doctor Ella Love Story

Doctor Ella Love Story
184. S2 - Sari & Jun

That afternoon Sari and Roni immediately went to Jogja by driving Roni's car. The two arrived in London the night. Directly looking for a inn in Malioboro area. Because the address of Jun's grandmother's house said to be Roni is also in the vicinity of Malioboro. Sari chose a beautiful inn with the nuances of Java and joglo. To calm and cool the heart he said.

That night they didn't talk much. Both of them instantly slept in their respective rooms to recover stamina after their long journey. Plan to find and meet Jun the next morning alone.

The next day Sari and Roni were done getting ready and having breakfast before nine in the morning. The two of them then slide towards Jun's home address which Roni got from Mahes. With the help of a navigation system from the go*gle map they were finally able to find that address. Which turns out not so far from the inn where they stayed last night.

Roni parked his car in the spacious courtyard of a nineties architectural style house. House that looks simple and beautiful with thick Javanese nuances.

Roni pressed the bell on the door of the house, while Sari looked very agitated from earlier. Soon a woman of about forty opened the door for them. Maybe Aunt Jun is like Mahes' story.

The woman saw two young people she did not know visiting her house. But it feels like the face of the female guest is no stranger to him. Have you seen where?

"Can I help you?" the woman asked.

"Did the Junaedi really live here? We're friends from East Java." Roni answered this time.

"Jun's friend?" The woman was a little surprised. "Let's go in first, monggo please.." he continued, allowing both guests to enter and sit in the living room chair.

"You're Sari, right? Jun's fiancee? I'm Asri Jun's aunt." the woman asked, confirming Sari's identity. Just remembered that the girl's face was exactly the same as the face in the photo displayed in Jun's room. The face of the girl his nephew loved.

"Enggeh. I'm Sari and this is Roni, my friend and Jun's fellow doctor." Sari answered Asri's question.

Asri nodded her head in understanding. "Wait a minute, yeah." Then Asri said to retreat to the inside of the house.

Shortly afterwards out of the house, a middle-aged woman who looked slightly pale and tired approached the two of them.

"Sir Sister?" the woman asked half in disbelief to see Sari's figure in front of her.

"Mother Nia," Sari immediately got up from her seat, greeted the woman and kissed her hand as a greeting. It seems that woman is Jun's mother.

Nia directly hugged Sari's body very tightly. Patting Sari's back, and her tears just cascaded down her cheeks. Crying without a sound in Sari's arms.

Getting such an unexpected welcome, Sari who had prepared her heart since from the inn was finally ambyar as well. The girl also followed the crying roar in silence. Closely embracing each other meaningfully with Jun's mother. It was as if sharing grief, sharing their helplessness and hopelessness with each other.

Roni was only able to look at the two pathetic-looking women hugging each other, and then sitting side by side on a sofa. A mother, and a lover who looks very helpless accept the fact that their loved ones are dying, struggling between life and death.

"Finally you came too, son of Sari." Nia.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Sari asked sadly to the woman.

"Jun forbids mother. He doesn't want you to know. Jun doesn't want you to be sad and cry. Maybe he wants to go in silence."

"Mother...Why is that so?" The more rapid the melt of tears Sari heard Nia's words. "Jun's a strong man, he's definitely cured."

"Mother doesn't have to see it like it keeps. He was in so much pain every day. Especially if you have to undergo the chemotherapy process, it does not feel like you see it. If you can feel like you're replacing Jun to bear the pain."

"Maybe it's better if God just takes himself. Let Jun not be in pain anymore. Let your child not suffer anymore..." Resignation, there is a desperate and helpless tone from a mother who until prefer to let her child go rather than continue to live and suffer.

"Jun is always trying to look strong, never complain, or complain in pain. It was as if she did not want to make her mother sad and cry. He wants to endure all his pain, all his pain..."

"But maybe there's still something stuck in his heart so he can't leave quietly, he's still waiting for you. Maybe there's still something he has to tell you..." Nia squeezed Sari's fingers while continuing to shed tears. "Find him, let him know, son of Sari..."

"How can I shake Jun off? How am I supposed to let him go if I don't know anything at all, and suddenly get word that he's like this?" The more sizable the cry of Sari because of Nia's words.

The two women then fell silent, looking at each other, expressing sadness and sharing their tears overflowing like a flood. Makes Roni feel unable to see their sadness any longer.

"Can I see Jun's situation?" Roni asked permission. Perhaps it was better for her to go from there so that the two women could be more free to exchange stories and share grief. There must be a lot they want to talk about both.

"Please, the monggo goes straight in. Jun is in the back garden." Nia pointed out the direction, inviting Roni.

Roni moved from her seat towards the direction Nia pointed out. Passing through several rooms before ending up in a park. The back garden in this residence is quite spacious and beautiful with some large and shady trees. In one corner of the park there is a large fish pond complete with a shower. It was there that Roni could see a man sitting on his wheelchair reading a book accompanied by the sound of a soothing fountain.

Roni walked over, approaching the man. The more heartless it feels to see his friend in such a sad state. Jun looks thinner and paler, his hair is also cut very short probably to cope with the loss arising from his chemotherapy.

Her lower body was covered by a blanket, so Roni could not see her legs affected by osteosarcoma. At first glance no one would think the man had stage IV cancer. Jun Day's situation is good as it seems. Indeed, usually the state of cancer patients will rise and fall, sometimes even suddenly can drop or die suddenly.

"Good morning, bro..." Roni greeted awkwardly.

"Roni?" Jun shifted his gaze from his book, turning towards the coming greeting. It seemed very confusing to see Roni coming.

"How are you?" even the stupid question that came out of Roni's mouth. Not good of course, right?

"Well, as you can see..."

Roni threw her concerned smile at Jun. "Basar you are...Why didn't you say..." Roni immediately protested to Jun uncompromisingly. He knew he should have talked to Jun first, but he couldn't...It's too sad to just talk and joke right now.

Jun only smiled weakly answering her. "Why are you here?" continues asking. Curious also how Roni could know the situation even further know where he lives. Jun never told anyone.

"I'm here nganterin Sari..." Again Roni expressed the intention of his arrival without the tedeng ba bi bu again.

"Cari..." Jun took a slow breath and closed his eyes slowly. "You shouldn't have brought him here..." Jun protested helplessly.

"Keep what do you want? You want to die secretly? You want to just run away from this world without a word to her? It's delicious!" Roni became emotional as well hearing Jun's reply.

Roni knew exactly what Jun's doing. Surely Jun did not want Sari to be sad by looking at her miserable state. But just imagine how Sari would feel if she didn't know anything and then got the news Jun died?

Just imagine how regretful the girl was for not being able to see Jun for the last time. Just imagine how regret Sari will be. Maybe even that girl won't be able to get back up.

Regrets for not being able to complete their relationship in a good way. Would you bring this thing to the afterlife? Neither can donk. Everything must be completed first well, as sad and as painful as it is. So that there will be no more regrets in tomorrow for all parties. For relief...

"I gave her my ring. It's over between us."

"Why should it end? You guys still love each other. Why don't we stay together until the end?" Roni protested this time. Disagree with the way Jun ended their relationship. It was too sad and unfair for Sari. It was as if Jun decided everything alone without questioning Sari's decision.

Though if you look at the nature of Sari, if only Sari knew what really happened. That girl would never have the heart to leave Jun in such difficult times like this. Sari would definitely insist on being able to accompany her, being by her side.

"You're strong, Jun. You can definitely hold on. Not just for your sake, for your mother's sake, for your family's sake and also for Sari's too...You need to heal." Roni tries to encourage Jun.

"I know exactly how I am, Ron. You forgot what major I was in? Oncology...Huh, like a joke, yeah it feels..."

"But you've survived so far. Let's fight a little more..." Indeed, in cancer, Jun may be smarter than Roni. Jun knew full well the state of his own body. But still Roni wants this friend to continue fighting for life. Because sometimes the spirit of life can help cure diseases that are not even possible to cure.

"A little bit more.my time is a little longer."

"June..." Roni could not argue anymore.

"Osteosarcoma stage IV, metastasis to the digestive organs and lungs...Doctor Roni Suherman please explain the prognosis to that patient..."

Roni clenched her geligues and closed her eyes imagining an illustration of the state of the patient Jun had discovered. The answer is obvious without even thinking..."Ugly."

"I will not go before God's decision, nor will I stop fighting and praying... But sometimes it feels tired, Ron. It's so tired."

"Ron.I tipped Sari with you huh. Please take care of him." Jun continued his plea to Roni. His deepest wish is that there will be a good man who replaces him to look after and love Sari.

Even though Jun knew full well he could not force the feelings of Roni and Sari. Jun even knows Roni still loves Ella and is in touch with the girl. But still, deep in his heart Jun still hopes Roni will replace him to take care of Sari later. Because Jun knew very well how good this friend of his was. And surely Roni can take good care of Sari too.

"Wouldn't...I don't want to take him away from you. You'll live, Jun. You must heal to take care of it yourself!" Roni refused Jun's request outright. Not that he does not like Sari, but it is like this try...

Jun smiled at Roni's reply. "Please, Ron.." he asked again.

Roni just fell silent unable to answer.

"I consider your silence as yes." Jun drew the conclusion from Roni's attitude. And once again Roni was powerless to resist or protest against it.

Their conversation halted as Sari and Jun's mother walked over, approaching them.

"June...There's your Sari nyariin." Nia nodded and invited Sari to get closer to Jun.

Sari walked slowly closer towards Jun. His body trembled because of the sobbing of his increasingly sobbing cries for the sake of seeing the miserable state of his lover. Sari knelt before Jun, matching the height of the Wheelchair to be able to look straight at Jun's face.

"You're evil...You're so mean..."

"Sorry..."

"I don't want to break up. I love you, Jun." Sari scatters and hugs Jun's body. A Light hug because he did not want to hurt the weak-looking Jun.

"I love you too." Jun hugged Sari's body back, who continued to cry as he pleased.

Roni and Nia are deeply moved to see the two human beings who love each other. It was heartless to see the two who loved each other had to part because of a cruel destiny...

Slowly Roni and Nia walk to leave Sari and Jun alone. Give them a chance to spend time together.
