Chapter 19 - Beiming Kingdom

Yuan Shi held Qing'Er in his arms, the woman then woke up and directly furrowed her brows at Yuan Shi while peeking sharply at the emperor. Yuan Shi smiled subtly then lowered Qing Er, King Beiming was already waiting in front of the gate then saluted the emperor and queen. Qing Er let out a long sigh walking behind Yuan Shi. While Wu Zetian furiously walked directly parallel to Yuan Shi as if he wanted to show his whereabouts.

"Greetings, emperor and queen!" king Beiming.

"It's a pity, our journey here was constrained by assassins." lamented Yuan Shi who made King Beiming turn his back.

"His Imperial Majesty is there any special feature regarding these hired assassins? How dare they commit crimes against the emperor especially in the Beiming region." King Beiming, furious and frowning strongly, immediately summoned his trusted general to investigate directly on this matter.

"We will investigate along the path that the emperor has passed, looking for evidence and will give a heavy retaliation!" king Beiming.

"Alright, lucky my queen is fine!" Yuan Shi turned his head towards Qing' Er behind him, welcoming his hand and asking Qing' Er to stand beside him.

Qing Er walked over with a powerful aura, looked at Yuan Shi and smiled faintly. His face softened again, while Wu Zetian tried to get the attention of King Beiming who had not heeded it. "King Beiming, I am also here to help."

"How lucky Beiming was the arrival of the emperor's beloved dodgy concubine," King Beiming saluted Wu Zetian who grinned proudly for his praise.

Emperor Yuan Shi and Qing' Er were then welcome into the palace. They occupied different rooms, Qing Er walked with Waiter Chun and Nemo on her shoulders while looking around Beiming Palace. "The country is very beautiful" said Nemo.

Qing Er remained silent until she entered the room and sat in a chair facing directly to the window where there was a pond of fish and flowers. Chun's waiter went straight outside to prepare warm water for Qing Er's exhausted bath.

"Why has Miss been quiet since?" ask Nemo.

Qing Er let out a long sigh then pressed her head firmly. He felt regret for having lost control before Yuan Shi. Now that his feelings were quite mixed, he did not want to be the third person between the body owner's relationship and Yuan Shi, he did not want to be the third person, after all it was too naive to say he did that just because of a mission when in fact he was indeed a little interested in Yuan Shi.

"Miss!"

"Miss Su!"

"Miss Su Mian!" screech Nemo into Qing' Er's ears loudly.

"It's a shame" said Qing Er. "In front of him the self-control I've always been proud of is falling apart" he continued muttering to himself.

"There is no need to be regretted, after all because you did my recovery rose to seventy percent!" Nemo jumped up in excitement.

Qing Er turned her head sharply towards Nemo. "Based on the fucking system, just making me your recovery tool I'm not taking you home!"

Qing Er ran after Nemo outside the room, as she was bending over to try to get Nemo, she instead bumped into someone who was passing in front of her room. "Aw!"

"Your Majesty, are you okay?" ask the man in front of her.

As Qing' Er normalized her position, she looked at the familiar-looking man's face in her eyes. The two exchanged glances, in the distance Wu Zetian looked at the interaction of the two of them and came up with a crazy idea to trap Qing 'Er.

"Your Majesty, do I need to take you around?" asked Yun Shan.

"It's not the first time we've met, is it?" asked Yun Shan.

"I don't remember, but as I recall it's the first time I've been to Beiming." Qing Er walked ahead of Yun Shan.

"Miss, he's the guy you met at the amusement house!" Nemo.

Qing Er fell silent and stopped her steps. "It seems, she has a bad impression of me."

Yun Shan walked behind Qing Er while linking his hands back. His white hair carried by the gentle wind from the direction of the garden made the man shine even more. "Queen Liu Qing is really far from the rumors that people are saying."

Qing Er chuckled, trying to behave normally so as not to arouse suspicion. "The rumor outside is like a fire devouring me, but only a fire-resistant person would not believe it. Prince Beiming seems very insightful, maybe next time it should be more usable for Beiming's sake rather than thinking about other people's rumors."

Yun Shan lowered his head while smiling. "As I expected, Queen Liu Qing is full of confidence and I'm sure the rumors on the outside aren't true."

"My queen you are here," Yuan Shi said that appeared from the back of the two.

Qing'er instantly turned her face away from Yuan Shi, then turned around and approached towards the man. "Prince Beiming wants to talk to the emperor, I'll rest first."

Yun Shan widened as he had absolutely nothing to talk about with the emperor. Yet Yuan Shi with an expressionless face walked up to Yun Shan and stood beside him.

"Greet the emperor," Yun Shan said.

"This is the second time you met my queen," Yuan Shi's deadly glare on Prince Beiming.

"The queen said this was her first time meeting me," Yun Shan replied with a grin.

"Is that? Most importantly, don't make her uncomfortable while in Beiming!" the Pinta Yuan Shi.

Yun Shan nodded. "Of course, Your Majesty!"

Yuan Shi turned around and sauntered away leaving Yun Shan who was now furrowing his brows and tightly grasping his fist. Yuan Shi walked into Qing Er's room and saw the woman sitting staring out the window. The room decoration of Beiming Palace is filled with images of green grass and waterfall paintings that characterize their country.

The scenery outside Qing' Er's room was indeed very amazing, but the air temperature there was also fairly low so it would be very cold if it continuously let air into the room. "Qing' Er, close your windows immediately!"

"Yuan Shi, as per our agreement as long as I can help you then you must restore my rights as queen!" Qing Er stood up and looked at Yuan Shi intimidatingly, she did so to keep her soul firm regarding her goal of coming to the Xia Dynasty.

"I will definitely give it all back to you," Yuan Shi walked over towards Qing Er then gently touched the woman's cheek.

Qing Er turned her face away from Yuan Shi. "Let's finish this mission quickly!"

"What mission should Qing 'Er finish?" Yuan Shi stared at Qing Er flatly and waited for the woman's reply.
