Chapter 34 - The Passage of Su Mian

A tense atmosphere enveloped the emperor and his empress, Yuan Shi stared deeply at Qing Er. Qing Er released her embrace from Yuan Shi, her breath being decapitated after hearing a buzzing sound to her ears. Nemo who appears suddenly then finds a fault in the system so that makes himself now look faint as if he will disappear. "Miss Su, the system suffered internal damage!"

Su Mian turned to look at Nemo while furrowing his brows, after Nemo's hasty remark Su Mian felt a tremendous pain in his head until it made him sweat cold and limp. Not long after, he fell unconscious then crept himself onto the bed, Yuan Shi looked at Qing Er with an anxious face. He immediately summoned the guards outside the room to immediately bring the healer into the pavilion while pressing Qing's Er shoulder.

"Guard!"

"Qing' Er!"

"Qing' Er!" repeated exclaim.

Nemo saw his body that increasingly felt faint and translucent, not long after he disappeared from there. Yuan Shi felt extremely worried because this was the second time he had witnessed Qing Er going through such a strange thing again after being in the Beiming Kingdom that time. But this time he was more confused than before because he did not know where Yun Shan was. He deployed a hundred warriors to search for Yun Shan to Beiming and spread the announcement that anyone who could save the queen would be rewarded greatly.

Yuan Shi did not leave Qing Er alone, she was always beside him waiting for the woman to wake up.

"His Majesty the Emperor, rest! Let the servant take care of the empress." said the maid Chun.

However the look on Yuan Shi's sad eyes was clearly visible when he set his sights on Qing Er. "How can I rest while my wife is still lying helpless here? I don't even know how she is right now."

Not long after a few healers started popping into the room one by one, then checked Qing's state 'Er but no one was able to explain what happened to the empress and it made Yuan Shi even more furious and punished every physician who could not cure Liu Qing with ten lashes.

On the other hand, Su Mian woke up on a line between Earth and Heaven seeing a soul figure that he had been controlling all this time. The soul stood right in front of him then smiled at him. "I know you're an alien soul from the future, but isn't it worth doing something beyond my will?"

Su Mian fell silent then Nemo appeared beside him. "I'm just on a mission to restore your glory!"

"Did I ask you? I never wanted that, so you didn't have to bother doing it for me!" Liu Qing stared intently at the soul of Su Mian who was in front of him. "I've recovered, it's time for me to return" he continued.

"Do you not want to thank my non? He's going through a hard time living your life as that loser! After all, you recovered thanks to him who carried out the mission well!" furious Nemo.

Liu Qing chuckled softly at Nemo's chattering. "You are only foreign souls, if I decide to return then you will disappear. I never wanted a wonderful life of being a queen let alone living with Yuan Shi. I'd rather die if there's no other choice!"

"He's sincere with you!" said Su Mian with a slight restraining pain in her heart.

"really? If after I wake up he lets me go I might consider his love." Liu Qing crossed his hands on his chest.

Su Mian walked over. "Do you want to know the end of your story? You'll die as Exile Queen if I don't change your circumstances!"

"You don't think about what impact it will have, you're such a selfish soul!" Su Mian looked at Qing Er sharply.

"If I am selfish then you are a selfless soul, coming to mess with my plans with Ji and instead leaning towards the emperor who has obviously locked me up by force!

I had already restrained myself and relented, but this time I could no longer. Thank you for your blessing now I have the power to fight Yuan Shi." Qing Er smiled bitterly.

"Never think of rebelling against the emperor!" the Pinta Su Mian. "I promised him that after I got what I wanted I wouldn't stick my dagger in his back. So please, go without hurting her!" Su Mian turned her face away from Qing Er.

Nemo looked at Su Mian wryly, he knew that the Miss might have had more feelings for the emperor. However, his mission was almost complete, if Qing's soul wanted to return then Su Mian and himself would already have to return to the future.

"Miss, your mission is done. The system has given the reincarnation gift with all your previous lives, this means that you will be revived with the identity of Su Mian." Nemo looked at Su Mian wryly.

"I haven't even told her the truth, yet" Su Mian lowered her head and let out a long sigh. "Let me say goodbye to him, please!" continued Su Mian.

"Miss, if you miss the chance of reincarnation then this opportunity will disappear and will reappear thirty years later. Are you sure? Liu Qing's soul has fully recovered, your mission is complete and it's none of your business how the emperor's life will be" said Nemo, who displayed a monitor containing reincarnation information.

"Thank you for taking care of my family, may your reincarnation go well. The rest, let me make up my mind!" Qing Er gave her final farewell to the modern soul who had been controlling her body all this time.

In a moment, he again woke up with Yuan Shi beside him. Holding his hands tightly, yet the moment the two eyeballs met, there was a sense of sadness approaching Yuan Shi. He turned his face away for a moment, then looked at Qing Er again with a bitter smile on his face. "Thank God, you're conscious. I almost put to death all the healers who can't cure you."

"Emperor overload!" Qing Er released her hand from Yuan Shi's grasp then snorted softly.

Yuan Shi stood up as he looked at Qing Er. "I'll give you some time to rest!"

"Thank you for Your Majesty's kindness," Qing Er replied indifferently.

Yuan Shi walked out of the pavilion where Qing Er was. Then stood staring at the usual flower garden that Qing Er had always looked at before. "She has left," Yuan Shi muttered by plucking one flower in front of her then dropping it to the ground.

In the new pavilion, Qing' Er immediately moved out of her bed and out looking for her childhood sweetheart, General Ji to discuss their pending plans. The woman ran around the palace until she finally met Ji who was training some new soldiers in the palace. From a distance Qing Er felt a tremble in her heart, smilingly looking at the man she so longed for.

"General Ji, can it interfere with your time for a moment?"
