Chapter 41 - Heir to the Throne

The emperor hurriedly walked over to Yun Shan who was at the gate of Qianqing Palace, while inside Qing' Er's pavilion still felt an extremely intense nausea in his stomach. The uneasy feeling he felt in the heartfelt part felt like he had been pierced by a needle, seeing Qing Er getting pale Servant Chun looked panicked while waiting for the healer who never came in front of the doorway. Chun's servant several times went back and forth towards Liu Qing then returned to the doorway. "Servant Chun, just sit down!" the Pinta Qing 'Er.

Chun's servant walked back to Qing Er and sat down in front of the empress. "How can I calm down if Your Majesty is like this?"

Qing Er smiled bitterly. "You were always the one who worried me the most, Waiter Chun."

On the other hand, Yuan Shi looked directly at the man he was looking for. They stared at each other silently until Yun Shan finally paid his respects to the emperor in front of him. "It's nice to meet His Majesty the Emperor!"

"Once I am, the adahal I want to talk to Prince Beiming about" Yuan Shi said then looked at Yun Shan seriously. Yun Shan knew that something important was going on, so he followed Yuan Shi into the Qianqing Palace.

Yuan Shi led the way with his usual back-locked hands followed by Yun Shan and Xiao. The three of them entered the important room belonging to the emperor that rarely people came to, Yuan Shi only wanted to talk about this matter with Yun Shan behind closed doors moreover no one knew about this matter other than himself and Qing'Er herself.

After arriving inside the room Yuan Shi gestured for Xiao to leave him with Yun Shan there, Xiao nodded in understanding the Emperor's request. Xiao went outside the room and stood guard at the door. While Yuan Shi immediately allowed Yun Shan to sit in a chair that was indeed available. Without further ado the emperor immediately opened up the topic of his chat with Yun Shan by provoking a question that would later give him information regarding the mysterious soul that was inside Liu Qing's body back then.

"I've been looking for you, but did you decide to return after hearing of the empress' rebellion?" ask Yuan Shi.

"Hamba certainly can't lie to the emperor, it's true that the servant's return is because he wants to see the empress" Yun Shan replied as he fixed his sitting posture.

"Why are you so big?" ask Yuan Shi again.

"Hamba just wanted to make sure of himself to His Majesty the Empress, therefore the servant immediately rushed to the palace." Yun Shan explained somewhat doubtfully.

"Since I saw you with Qing'Er at the entertainment house back then, I had placed great suspicion on her. Especially when he's putting himself in danger just to save you from death, do you have a relationship behind my back?" Yuan Shi furrowed his brows showing his anger.

"The Emperor has misunderstood, this is just a mutually beneficial relationship no more than that." Yun Shan shook his head slowly trying to convince Yuan Shi.

"What is a mutually beneficial relationship?" asked Yuan Shi curiously.

"We have a secret that only we know, forgive the servant for not being able to reveal it to the emperor." Yun Shan lowered his head at Yuan Shi.

"Well, I assume you and Qing' Er have a special relationship. As my empress, of course I can't stay silent to get insults from her. I covered his good name and made the matter of rebellion an internal matter for both of us. But, the second betrayal I won't forgive, tomorrow morning I will execute him and his despicable family." Yuan Shi stood up and walked back to Yun Shan.

"Please don't be rash!" yun Shan's. "He's already helped His Majesty clear up various imperial matters, he's really supporting His Majesty. He never had any motive other than to restore the glory of Her Majesty the Queen," Yun Shan continued.

"Him?" Yuan Shi smirked in satisfaction then turned around and looked at Yun Shan. "As emperor, I want to force you to tell me everything about him." Yuan Shi continued with intimidating eyes.

Yuan Shi shook his head slowly. "It's not Qing' Er, it's the woman you met at the entertainment house for the first time."

Yun Shan widened, he did not expect that Yuan Shi knew about Su Mian. Now, there was no other choice for Yun Shan, he let out a long sigh then prepared to explain it to Yuan Shi. "His name is Su Mian, I do not know how he came to the Xia Dynasty. But for sure, his goal to this time is only to carry out the mission he has. He comes from a future whose own servants do not know its fullness."

"Is there any way I can get back to him?" asked Yuan Shi with a soft face.

"Hamba is not sure, Your Majesty. But wasn't she still inside Queen Qing's body?" yun Shan asked curiously.

Yuan Shi shook his head. "A few days ago something happened, and when Qing' Er woke up the soul disappeared."

"Did his mission have worked and he just left?" Yun Shan muttered softly.

As Yuan Shi who now knew the woman's name became increasingly agitated, the difference in the trajectory of time that he could not pass through made his heart slightly tormented. However, amid the turmoil, he also felt happy that his best friend Qing' Er was returning from a critical period.

A different situation was seen in Qing' Er's room, the woman clasped her legs to her front part of her body as it started to feel cold. "It's not mine!" he said out loud.

"If it doesn't belong to Her Majesty, then who does it belong to? This child is a blessing for the Xia Dynasty, the emperor will definitely be very happy to hear this news. Please send word to Kiasar Yuan Shi immediately!" pinta the healer on the other servant.

Waiter Chun happily approached Qing 'Er. "Congratulations on her pregnancy, Her Majesty the Queen."

After getting word from Queen Qing's servant, Xiao waltzed into the room and saluted the emperor. Yuan Shi stared at the unusual look on Xiao's face with astonishment. "What's up?" ask the charismatic man.

"Congratulations that His Majesty the Emperor will soon get an heir," Xiao said.
