Chapter 32 - New Pavilion

"May Qing 'Er like this pavilion" Yuan Shi said as he turned towards Qing 'Er.

"I will definitely like it," from his tone Qing 'Er sounded soft and like she was holding something back. For some reason Su Mian's little heart felt sad, knowing his mission would soon be over.

"What was Qing Er thinking?" ask Yuan Shi.

"No one, will the emperor tonight accompany me in the new pavilion?" Qing Er looked at Yuan Shi and waited for her answer.

Yuan Shi's eyes widened and sparkled. "Of course, with pleasure. I will also bring some bottles of wine that we bought the day before" Yuan Shi said with a sigh.

By nightfall Qing Er was already waiting for Yuan Shi inside the room with a table and a chair inside. Qing Er gazed out the window there instantly revealing a beautiful expanse of flowers. Not long before Eunuch Huo told the emperor's arrival, Yuan Shi was so handsome that his emperor's black clothes with golden motifs walked into the room, then some servants also did not forget to put a wine bottle on the table according to Yuan Shi's order.

Qing Er smiled then stood up and saluted Yuan Shi while the others left the two there.

"Honor Your Majesty the Emperor" said Qing Er.

"You are very pretty," Yuan Shi replied as he watched Qing Er closely.

"No need to hesitate, it's my duty to protect you. But, if I may know where Yun Shan went?" yuan Shi asked with a puzzled look.

"It is likely that he has already returned to Beiming," Liu Qing replied briefly, densely and clearly.

"What tool did my queen use to make that lightning bolt?" Yuan Shi still looked curious about the incident earlier in the morning because he was the one who was the most skeptical of something so it was not easy for him to believe the celestial curse he had seen before.

"The emperor is too hasty, the night is still long then I will pour a glass of wine first for the emperor." Qing Er slowly put the honesty pill into Yuan Shi's wine cup and handed it to the man.

Yuan Shi stared at the cup and did not dare to drink it first out of suspicion. "Can my queen bring me a peach cake?"

"Peach cake?" qing Er asked with an eyebrow frown on her face.

"I would love to eat that before drinking this wine," Yuan Shi replied.

"Of course, I can take it for the emperor." Qing Er moved from there and left Yuan Shi alone.

After some time Qing Er went outside she did not long return to the pavilion, Yuan Shi was sitting back and greeted Qing 'Er by grabbing a plate of peach cake that he absolutely did not want.

After tasting it a little and thanking Qing Er, Yuan Shi finally drank the wine he had exchanged before. Surprisingly, the wine's more bitter dominant taste made Yuan Shi furrow his brows in confusion. While Qing Er who was drinking her wine was grinning behind the cup she was holding. "I knew you wouldn't without reason ask me to go outside."

"Qing' Er did you poison me?" ask emperor.

"Of course not, I'm just-" Qing' Er's words came to a halt as she felt an unsteady dizziness at the back of her head.

"I mix our two drinks and divide them by one cup." Yuan Shi smiled bitterly.

"Damn it," said Qing 'Er felt deceived.

"What poison did you actually put in the drink? If I have to die then I have to take you as well, Qing Er!" yuan Shi said as he glanced at the woman before him.

"That's just a stupid honesty pill, where might I poison you!" qing Er said as she pressed her head firmly.

Yuan Shi smiled. "So you put an honesty pill into both of us's drinks?"

"Not to the drinks of the two of us, but your drinks then you mix them up." Qing Er replied as she gave a rude snort.

"Good, because I do have a question for you!" Yuan Shi poured a glass of wine then pointed his cup at Qing Er. "Anyone who can't answer the question should drink one cup of wine" he continued.

"Okay, I'm not scared!" qing Er replied without caring about her body drinking ability. "I'll start," continued Qing Er.

"What do you really know about me?" qing Er asked while agitatedly waiting for Yuan Shi's reply.

Yuan Shi leaned against the shoulder of the chair then smirked subtly. "Everything," Yuan Shi replied casually.

"Now it's my turn, who are you?" Yuan Shi stared fixedly at Qing Er and held the back of the woman's hand while waiting for her answer.
