Chapter 55 - H-4 Coronation

Early in the day, all of them had prepared to go along with the Emperor and also Queen Qing' Er towards the Western Exile to catch up with the Prime Minister's family's existence. From there, they would all go straight to Yuanqing Palace to stop the process of enthronement Consort Wu becoming the new Emperor.

By wearing his armor General Ye had already led the way, in the horse carriage there was Qing 'Er and also Servant Chun who last night had just been picked up by General Ye's men after being left behind at the inn yesterday.

Yuan Shi went riding on a horse with the others, from General Ye's residence the journey to the Western Exile was not too far away and General Ye would make the trip faster as he knew a silent and safe shortcut for all of them to cross.

"Suri's mother acted blatantly, Consort Wu also acted cruelly at all the servants who didn't want to serve her." General Ye shook his head complaining about the behavior of the two lovebirds.

Yuan Shi grinned subtly feeling that he already knew how his true nature was, many years later relented this time he would not turn around and pretend to be blind and deaf again. Anyone who would stand in his way would be destroyed even if it was the Queen Mother.

General Ye's guess was right, the path he chose was apparently taking a lot faster than usual. The sun began to light up their journey. Qing Er who had just woken up inside the horse carriage instantly stretched her body firmly while opening the curtain of the carriage that blocked her sight to look around.

"Your Majesty, please wipe your face with this wet cloth!" pinta Servant Chun who looks moody since her return to Qing' Er's side.

"What's Waiter Chun?" Qing Er who had started to know her servant knew of course if there was a changed attitude from her. That could be a big suspicion for him.

"No one, Your Majesty!" answer the Waiter Chun.

Qing Er exhaled slowly, then began to wipe her face. As the cloth washed his soft face, a heat began to be felt in the face and eyes that now felt sore. "Fuck, waitress Chun what are you giving in this cloth?" Qing Er threw the cloth studded with black pepper powder away from him.

But clearly, his eyes and face had now started to react. As he was unable to open his eyes Servant Chun quickly took the opportunity to start attacking Qing Er with the sharp knife she had brought before. Fortunately, Qing Er who had sharp intuition was certainly able to feel the sudden attack even though her eyes were closed.

"Servant Chun, what are you doing?" Strongly Qing Er twisted Servant Chun's hand until the middle-aged woman grimaced in pain.

The knife fell from her hand, but now Servant Chun started grimacing and begging for mercy after Qing Er did not release her hand from the woman's wrist.

Yuan Shi who heard the commotion from the empress' horse carriage instantly switched and met her woman. Opening the carriage door then saw Qing Er who was attacking Waiter Chun with her eyes closed.

"Sir, are you okay?" asked the anxious-looking Yuan Shi.

Qing Er gave a rude snort then released the hand of Servant Chun quickly. "He tried to attack me with black pepper powder, now my eyes are sore and hard to open."

Qing Er shook her head strongly. "He must have had a reason, "obviously.

"Any reason wouldn't be of any use to me if he had dared to hurt you!" the furious Yuan Shi that started to stir.

"The emperor better help me wash this still sore face and eyes!" Qing Er who was still closing her eyes in Yuan Shi's sling was disturbed because of the pain she felt from the black pepper powder before

"All right." Yuan Shi lowered Qing Er from his embrace, then grabbed a bottle of water that he had stuck to his horse.

Letting the water flow into Qing' Er's face until it ran out. General Ye who had already captured Servant Chun, began to interrogate her firmly.

After feeling better, Qing'Er and Yuan Shi returned to meet Servant Chun who was still restrained and crying in front of General Ye to forgive him.

"That Begins the Queen, I beg you to forgive me. I did it by force" he said as he continued crying.

"Who forced you?" qing Er asked sharply and stepped closer towards her servant.

"When the servants were in the inn, they threatened that the servant would kill the servant's family who were still in Yuanqing if they did not act on Her Majesty the Queen. I am sorry, the loyalty of the servant has been tarnished all this time. Please forgive Your Majesty!" waiter Chun's cries were getting broken, he was getting moody and sadder.

Yuan Shi was only able to sigh, knowing that it was the Empress Dowager who must have carried out such a threatening action. Qing Er knelt in front of Servant Chun then hugged her tightly. "I was worried because you were a very loyal servant to me. Don't cry, no one can hurt anyone who is precious to me. I promise to help all your families."

Qing Er gently stroked the shoulders of Servant Chun then joined in feeling the sadness that the woman felt. While the general only turned his head towards Yuan Shi as if asking how the servant's punishment was next. Yuan Shi shook his head, handing it all to Qing Er who had obviously forgiven her servant.

"We can continue our journey!" Yuan Shi's word to General Ye.

"Okay, Your Majesty!" General Ye returned to lead the way, asking all the troops to prepare as Qing Er calmed Servant Chun.

After starting to calm down, Qing Er and Servant Chun returned to the horse carriage. With an uncomfortable look on his face, Waiter Chun still continued to apologize for what he had done to Qing Er. The Queen simply smiled and still continued to calm her servant.

Nemo who then returned to Qing'Er's embrace looked at the woman with raised eyebrows. "Don't I tell you there's black pepper powder in that cloth? Why are you still wearing it and hurting yourself?" growled Nemo with the animal language that Waiter Chun heard.

Qing Er grinned thinly as she looked at Nemo she made inner contact to answer the System's rant. "If it wasn't so, he wouldn't be telling the truth. Or maybe even do it when I'm off guard. Better to know from the beginning ’kan?"

"Yes, yes, yes you are indeed smart Su Mian!" nemo replied as he rolled his eyes in annoyance.
