Chapter 48 - Meeting again

Nemo was relieved as they returned to the Xia Dynasty safely, seeing the condition of Qing's body 'Er who was sad with his head covered in blood made him immediately take the initiative to give a high-level healing pill to Su Mian's recovery.

Su Mian opened his eyes slowly, then turned his head to his right and left with a faint look. Her body was in pain and something stuck in her stomach felt so strange. When Nemo asked him to open his mouth. Su Mian was only able to obey his commands, he opened his jaw no wider than the right angle.

Swallowing those high-level healing pills easily, made the originally pain-filled body become lighter and began to gradually improve. "I've improved, Father, Mother, Brother Bao, you don't have to worry anymore!" Qing Er then sat down and turned her head towards all of them with a confident look.

Su Mian turned towards Nemo, with one hint Nemo naturally knew what he should do. Now, Nemo would help Su Mian freely for the sake of their mission continuity, no point purchase or life-span reduction anymore. He really just wanted to get out of there.

A loud bang was heard again, this time Nemo did not leave a chance. He then threw a shortcut ball that made a big hole in the rubble area. "Sister Bao, you should immediately take Mother and Father to the Western Border to meet Brother Liu Bai. He's our only hope, after making sure mom's father's condition is safe, come back to help us with Brother Bai!"

Hearing Qing Er's orders with great determination, Liu Bao was only able to nod his head and began to bring his parents out of the prison. "Okay, Your Majesty!" answer it out loud.

"My daughter, then what about you? I can't leave you alone!" Prime Minister Liu seemed worried about his daughter's condition and the woman's request. But Qing Er's response was just a soothing, subtle smile.

"Dad listen, this is the best. When you have your army back, I hope you bring reinforcements for me and Yuan Shi here soon." Qing Er advanced slowly and gently touched the cheek of the father.

"Alright, careful! Make sure your condition has recovered first" said the Prime Minister with an exaggerated look of anxiety.

"I've recovered, it's all thanks to Prince Beiming, I don't need to worry because I can handle this all you have to do is trust me and save yourself first, that way I'll calm down!" Qing Er hugged her mother then took off her embrace and returned to Yun Shan's side.

"Alright, then we'll get out of here. Prince Bei, please take care of our daughter!" The Prime Minister and the family with a heavy heart left Qing' Er as well as Yun Shan there.

Qing Er then without hesitation immediately intended to tell her plans to the man next to her. But before that happened, Yun Shan first greeted him with a puzzled face.

"Su Mian!" yun Shan screeched with a frown on his forehead.

"Hi," was only Su Mian's reply, three short letters with a gentle smile on her face. "We don't have much time, the emperor needs me as well as you!" su Mian continued, gesturing for Nemo to give him a weapon they had discussed to use to fight against the Queen Mother's forces.

Nemo took out an item that the system had - a crate of long-barreled rifles commonly known as the ZH-05. A rifle that can launch grenades and also aim accurately.

"We don't have any weapons" Yun Shan explained.

"The Emperor wants me to take Her Majesty the Queen away, we can't possibly go back and sacrifice ourselves like this!" continued the man while looking at Su Mian seriously.

"We have the strongest weapon, look behind you!" Su Mian grinned then blinked one eye at Nemo who was now standing nearby.

"What kind of weapon is this?" asked Yun Shan.

"I'll show you!" Su Mian walked up to pick up the one rifle he had now held. Of course with that they would win, when his opponent only used swords and balls of gunpowder, Su Mian had used more advanced weapons.

Su Mian aimed towards the initial exit that had now been closed, he started to shake and released a grenade to destroy the ruins again. When the loud thumping sound shattered the ruins dispelling them, Yun Shan's dazzling and incredulous gaze made Su Mian tickle.

On the other hand, Yuan Shi who heard a bang from inside the dungeon was seen stopping his serious actions against one by one the queen mother troops. The distracted attention almost made itself slashed by the enemy's sharp sword swing.

But Yuan Shi was more formidable, with a split second he dodged and kicked the opponent in front of him. He continued to watch the prison entrance from a distance, not long after a woman he hoped had gone far away was instead quickly running towards him carrying a strange object that Yuan Shi had never seen.

Behind Qing' Er saw Yun Shan towing a chest that Yuan Shi did not yet know what it contained. Qing Er launched a few shots towards the opponent blocking her way, that on-target shot left Yuan Shi stunned. He was sure that the woman was Su Mian, the woman he missed so much. Regardless of the conditions in front of him, Yuan Shi walked straight towards the approaching Su Mian.

His look full of happiness and sadness makes him powerless to immediately embrace the woman who is now in front of him. "I missed you!" said the man with a tight hug that made either Qing'Er or Su Mian speechless.
