Chapter 47 - Unexpected help

Qing Er was made anxious because she saw Yuan Shi with all her might dispelling the assassins along with the Huo Tribe who only had minimal weaponry. While Xiao's troops had also not been seen until now, the Qing' Er who was continuously forced away by Yun Shan was helpless as Yun Shan gnawed his nerves from moving so that they could move away from there.

Under other conditions, Su Mian and Nemo were still waiting for the system to reload their mission. Surprisingly seen inside the monitor, the process of reloading the mission looks faster as time goes by. Su Mian and Nemo stared at each other in astonishment, their brows furrowing as they continued to stare at the monitor screen.

"Nemo, can we see how they are now?" ask Su Mian.

"Can't, since reloading the mission all of us can't monitor anymore." Nemo stood on Su Mian's shoulder and then sat down while waiting for the reloading process of their mission.

Qing Er and Yun Shan managed to hide into the worn-out prison hallway they were looking for, and the man unlocked the nerves he had done to Qing Er. While walking through the basement, Yun Shan sensed the human energy that seemed to be there. "Your Majesty, it looks like there's someone else here. We have to be careful!" yun Shan's.

"What if it's my mom and dad? We have to find him!" qing' Er's Pinta on Yun Shan which of course was hard for him to resist.

"Okay, but we have to be careful. Your Majesty should stay behind me!" Yun Shan led their way into the dark, moist passageway.

Qing Er began to call out sounds that her family might be able to hear. "Dad! Mama!"

However, there is no answer at all. He kept repeating it until Yun Shan gestured for Qing Er to stop calling her family. A snake scattered in front of the road they were about to cross, Qing Er widened as well as Yun Shan who instantly flicked his hand to protect Qing Er.

"Your Majesty, wait for the servant to sprinkle the poison powder to make this snake go away. Please Your Majesty the Queen cover the nose and mouth area so as not to inhale this powder!" Yun Shan turned his head towards Qing Er hoping that this woman understood her request.

Qing Er nodded then tore off part of her clothes and made it a face cover. After Yun Shan placed the poison powder, gradually the snake went to the sidelines of the underground hole that was thought to be their nest. The two began to continue their journey back inside. At the end of the prison, they saw a prison that seemed to be inhabited by some people, Yun Shan used a stone to light a torch on the wall.

With great difficulty finally the spark was made and burned one torch that only lit at the end.

"Who's there?" Asked a man that Qing' Er knew that it was Liu Bao's voice.

"Sister!" Qing Er ran small then touched the dirty and damp iron bars. Seeing that both of his parents were already in a terrible condition with dirty and shabby clothes Qing Er felt her heart being sliced.

"Qing 'Er! Mom, look who's coming to save us!" liu Bao said to his mother's father who was in the back.

"Daughter, thank you for looking for us. This is the act of the queen mother!" The Prime Minister gently touched his daughter's hand through the bars.

Not long after a loud bang was heard on the roof of the prison making the side inside vibrate and produce a fine crack on the wall. Yun Shan furrowed his brows then looked at Qing Er. "It looks like things are getting worse out there, we need to get the hell out of here. Otherwise we could be buried alive."

Qing Er fell silent for a moment then remembered Yuan Shi. "What about the emperor?"

"It's my fault, I asked Yuan Shi to come look for you. The palace was empty and temporary power was given to Wu Zetian." Qing Er explained to her father.

The Prime Minister furrowed his brows firmly, he shook his head signaling bad things might soon happen to all of them no exception Yuan Shi.

"Father just hoped, Liu Bai can escape. The original stamp is mine, it's in his hand. That was the reason why Yuan Shi exiled Liu Bai." The prime minister said with a serious face.

Qing Er did not remember the part where her brother was exiled, because it was Su Mian who took over her body. But, with his father saying his heart was a little calm because Liu Bai was holding the father's army so they would get help soon.

Yun Shan immediately smashed a stone to unlock the iron bars door that locked the Qing family's Er. Finally, it didn't take long for them to even manage to get everyone inside. Qing Er carried the mother who looked limp, then started walking down the prison hallway. However, a loud bang again hit the roof of the old prison as if intentionally wanting to tear down the fragile building.

The ground started to tremble as the road in front of them let out a huge explosion that partially collapsed the roof.

"Everyone take cover!" Yun Shan swiftly made sure everyone was unharmed.

The way out was already closed while closing their hopes, Qing Er stared at the weak paled father of her mother. "Hold on!"

His inner being was sliced because there was no hope he had, but his little heart echoed the name of Su Mian, in that little heart he wished that she would appear as a hero to him and to everyone. One more blast destroyed the side of the building above Qing' Er making her forced to push her mother away and sacrifice herself.

"Your Majesty!" everyone turned their backs when Yun Shan's hands belatedly held back some of the beams that struck Qing Er.

The cry of Qing's mother Er instantly burst out inside the impeccable dungeon. The Prime Minister and Yun Shan as well as Liu Bao tried to save Qing Er from the ruins that befell half of her body. Blood poured out on his head, rendering Qing Er unconscious.

Su Mian stared at the monitor which showed the process had been successfully downloaded. He and Nemo exchanged glances and space and time changed, revealing a woman with a smile on her lips.

"I need your help, no time to explain. Go, save everyone!" the thrill then Su Mian felt floated up with Nemo, leaving Qing' Er in space and time alone.

"What's going on?" ask Su Mian.

"I don't know, we better get on our mission right away. That way we can save him!" Nemo and Su Mian resolved themselves to return.

Before long, Su Mian opened his eyes slowly, he blinked his eyelids with a very painful head condition.

"Miss Su, open your mouth!" the Pinta Nemo she saw was beside her.
