In reaction I screamed because the punch was more painful than what Kyungsoo had done before. The other one broke and I could see from the corner of my eye that Chanyeol on the ground was laughing. I rolled my eyes and rubbed my forehead, feeling wronged. Suddenly, I could hear rattling noises and I saw that the stones were being crushed, into a pile of dust. Then Kyungsoo bids, "ceasefire?"

"A truce," I repeated and smiled for a moment. I looked and dust covered the ground around me and asked, "want to see something cool?"

Before anyone could answer, I blew away the dust and stirred it into the air. I formed shapes and made patterns, letting them in and out around the metal bars. Although it is basically land, there is beauty in it, in the way it moves and glides easily at my command. At times like these, I always feel awe at the things I can do now and become fascinated by my own abilities. It made me realize that there is indeed beauty in everything, even the things that have caused you pain.

There are actually a lot of moments like this. When we get bored, as a form of entertainment, we will show our strength to be seen with each other. Baekhyun would project the lights onto the ceiling and that they would shine, like stars. He also puts on shows and tells stories, bends light to form characters from shadows and that is the closest form of entertainment we can get on TV.

We would each take turns flaunting and at this point we were basically a circus. Even though it was all fun and games, it always reminded me how wonderful that existence was. The way water moves and flows, how water changes from liquid to solid, the way electricity triggers and how fire burns vigorously.

All of this is a natural element and it makes me miss the outside: the feeling of sunlight on my skin, the sound of rain and even the breath of fresh air. Locked away for so long, I almost forgot what it felt like. Finally, finished with my parade, I let a stream of dust fall into the pile outside my cell and without the 'magic' it looked exactly like what it was, the ground.

He clapped once and rubbed it together while the guards forced us to the line as usual. But today is different. They handcuffed us that they had never done before, so I started to feel anxious.

Vic led us up the stairs as usual, but instead of taking the first right turn, we turned left. Then we walked on a different route, which I had never seen before. I wonder how big this building really is because there seems to be a number of never-ending hallways.

After a few other turns, we stopped at a large concrete wall and I was confused why did they lead us to a dead end? Suddenly, the wall began to move, making me realize that it was not a wall at all but a gap. I covered my eyes as the light from outside began to seep in, the light was outside, a brightness I had not seen for months. Daylight. I can't believe it, we went out.

Isn't this our chance, to run away? After being locked up for a long time, we finally got out. We have to take this opportunity. Who knows when there will be others? The guards forced us forward when the exit was fully opened and for some reason I was nervous.

I looked at Suho, trying to communicate with him secretly. At the time, I seriously questioned how none of us had telepathy. It will make everything easier. Oh well, body language had to be done, so I widened my eyes and slightly pushed my head outwards. He shook his head a little and I understood it right away, he thought it was too risky.
