I mean who can blame me for thinking that. I am a pretty handsome guy who is talented with a straight nose and I want to keep it that way. However, if I ever broke a bone, Lay might be able to fix it, right? As I lay on the ground, I wish the only damage done was one of the bruises that gave me a bad boy vibe.
But it hurt so much and my head was throbbing from the pain, but after brushing it, I slowly got up. Seeing that I was struggling, Chen turned his attention to my attacker and started where my fight stopped. He could get some powerful attacks here and there but it wasn't enough.
As soon as I recovered and stood up again, I darted quickly towards the wall that Chen was pushing against. The guard pushed back violently, knocking Chen to the ground and looming over him. When I reached the wall I sped up, using my momentum, I kicked it and jumped onto its back.
Twisting my body quickly, I moved my legs so they were clenched between his neck and I let my weight fall. I landed on my back, with a training mat to support my fall and the man rolled over. I clenched my thighs around his neck as tightly as possible, using all the strength I had as he fought to defeat me. Quickly, I shouted, "please, please?"
Instantly Chen's hands gleamed and he placed both of them on the chest of the guard like a doctor with a defibrillator. After electrocuting him, he was cold and I removed my grip on his neck.
"The medicine will not die," I took a heavy breath while lying on the mat, my body refusing to get up.
"We didn't kill him Chanyeol," Chen said with a pointed look but agreed, "he's quite sturdy. I really want to know, where do they even find people like that?"
From behind, someone came up to Chen, trying to grab his shoulder while he squatted over the unconscious man. As I faced the new attacker, I shouted at him to duck and launch the fireball from close range, effectively taking him out. Fortunately, some of my energy came back because it could have been a bad situation if not.
Suddenly, someone pulled me off the ground and attached me to the wall. Surprisingly, I hit the glass instead of the concrete and I realized that I was standing by the window. Actually it was one of the one-way mirrors they used in the interrogation room. They never stated that, but it was too obvious not to do so. Random mirror next to the training gym? Yes, there must be a control room on the other side.
Seeing me in trouble, Chen turned on the power and aimed at my assailant. I ducked out, waited for a blow but never came. A guard took advantage of Chen's squatting position by bending him behind his head. He lost focus and missed.
Instead of hitting his target, he shot the glass to my left and I heard it break. I was in a bad position and didn't want to be under the mirror if it broke. The pieces of glass that sucked my skin didn't sound attractive at all.
The missed effort was disruptive enough that my attacker lost concentration. Quickly, I took a cheap shot, bent him on the ball and he gripped into the area below, paralyzed in pain. I have to say, it wasn't my best moment, but it worked very effectively.
I gripped her collar and twisted her body into the glass, hopefully hard enough to knock her down. However, I guess I was too strong as his body pierced through, breaking through the right side of the window.
I'm right, it's some kind of control room. There were screens everywhere and before them sat some computer engineers I had never seen before. But there was one face I recognized when I made direct eye contact.
Surprised, I let go of the man I was holding and stopped, not knowing what to do. He was always calm, with not a single hair out of place. However, now he was tangled in sweat that stained his pale face, crumpled lab coats, and disheveled hair. He had a lot of untidy papers in his hands and I knew he was looking for something. Something important.
Looking at it, it vented my anger and suddenly my strength felt rejuvenated as the heat boiled beneath my skin. I reached out my hand in front of me and the control room exploded in panic. Instantly, Doctor Choi held the papers on his chest and ran out of the room. The others knew what I was going to do next and they were trying to catch up. However, some did not get as far as I burned the room without regret.
I have to chase him.
I turned around to look back and it was chaos. Men screamed and fists flew. Strength streaked across the room: ice, light, water, and lost chunks of land that I thought was what Kyungsoo did. There were still many men in black who made me wonder if this fight would end.
I knew I shouldn't have left, but the only thing I thought about was revenge. Now or not at all. Without glancing any more, I jumped through the window into the fire I made. The heat on my skin felt comfortable to me like a blanket of warmth, not the burning temperature that others felt.
I ran through the door that Doctor Choi had and I was taken into a long hallway. Running as fast as I could, I followed the sound of heels clanking on the hard ground.
I quickly caught up with him and now I can see his lab coat flapping in front of me as he ran. Hearing my footsteps getting louder, he turned around to see how close I was. The panic on his face was clear and he was smart enough to be scared. Suddenly stopping in front of the door, he slipped slightly from the momentum and his mismatched footwear.
Before I could reach him, he entered the room and the door closed behind him. Quickly stopping, I banged on the door but did not move. I was very close. My frustration gave another loud push out of anger but there was no reaction and I cursed quietly.
On closer inspection, there is no button on the door. Instead, there is a scanner on the wall, so I consider it unlocked using some eye recognition or fingerprint technology.
So, this has to be done the hard way. Placing both of my hands on the left side of the door, near the edge, I willed all my energy into the area. Heating my hands as hot as possible, they started to glow bright red.
The door was made of metal so it took a while to melt but it didn't matter to me. I will take revenge, however long. "You can't stay there forever, you know. Sooner or later, this door won't be able to protect you" I sneered violently.
I heard a bang from inside and I wondered what was causing the commotion. Concentrating on the task at hand, I tried to raise the temperature until my palms started to sting but it worked. Slowly but surely the door melted.
I don't have a plan. I wasn't even thinking clearly and my emotions were controlling my actions. I don't know what I'm going to do, all I know is that these last two years have been filled with pain and torture. I have been stripped from my family, taken from my home and treated like a savage beast.
