I sprayed a stream of water from my hand, hitting the group of guards in front of me and they fell from the force of the blow, just like I had planned. Holding my power, I concentrated as I trapped them in water bubbles, cutting off their oxygen supply.

I heard the sound of glass breaking and I directed my attention towards the noise. On the other side of the room, Chanyeol pushed the guard through the window, breaking it. He was staring at something on the other side but from my point of view, I could only see his back. Curious, I shifted until I finally had a clear view.

Through the broken glass, she comes face to face with Doctor Choi. Until now, he was the last thing on my mind. I almost forgot his whereabouts while the chaos of the battle had flared up. Honestly, I was surprised by his appearance. I thought he would be the first to disappear after everything went south.

I watched Chanyeol turn around and observe the terrible situation of the ongoing fight. Judging from his harsh expression, I knew he had already made up his mind. His last glance would not change anything because his decision was clear: he would catch up.

I saw the look in his eyes and it was full of pure emotion: vengeance. I shouted his name loudly but he did not react. He either ignored me or he could not hear me over the sound of his battle and roaring anger.

Releasing my strength, the water containing my assailant spilled across the concrete and my victim fell to the ground in a pile of corpses. I ran towards Chanyeol but I was late, he was gone. He had jumped through the window into the fire room and disappeared.

As soon as I got to the broken window, I realized it was actually a mirror and fire licking the room on the opposite side. Like Chanyeol, I assess the situation. There are too many of them and not enough of us. If we continue in this way we will be mastered sooner or later. We won't make it alive. Eventually we are tired and they will find a way to beat us.

"Search!" Chen shouted a warning from nearby. Disturbed, I did not notice the guards running towards me in attack. At the last moment, I dodged the moment he lunged at me. Caught off guard, he could not stop his momentum and directly pierced through the broken mirror.

Finally noticing my presence, the other guard focused his attention on me. He threw a punch at my face, but I caught his fist in my hand and squeezed, crashing his fingers. He snorted in pain and swung his other fist blindly, but I threw him back before he could do any damage.

Chen had been taking care of the remaining guards and was already preparing for the incoming attack. Gasping for breath, he spoke, "if we continue like this, we won't last long."

He's correct. We need a moment of game change or we will lose this battle or worse, die. Suddenly, Chen shot his lightning towards the black crowd, eliminating most of the next wave of guards. I looked down at my hand and suddenly an idea came to my mind. Determinedly, I shouted, "I have a plan!"

"What's that?" Chen asked but I ignored his question, trying to figure out the logistics in my head. I will need time and more importantly, protection.

"We must gather everyone together and fast," I instructed. I looked towards the direction where Lay and Kai were placed in the center of the room, with the others surrounding him in a defensive circle. Kai looked better now, he sat down and luckily stopped bleeding. I thought Lay had healed him by now, but he still seemed to bleed out from losing so much.

"We should get there as soon as possible" I said, pointing to where the others were gathered. Chen nodded and we ran, running towards the crowd. We fought through, hit, dodged and blocked our opponents.

Only when we finally reached the middle of the room did we stop struggling to breathe. I knelt down and before I could ask about Kai's condition, Lay spoke first, "he's mostly healed now and more importantly he stopped bleeding, both externally and internally. I did my best under these circumstances but she lost so much blood that she was weak. He can fight but not a lot, we have to get him out of here, the sooner the better. "
