Suddenly he pointed the gun down and shot Sehun in the leg. Instantly he fainted from an unexpected attack and because I was leaning on him, I fell with him. He gripped the wound and moaned in pain while Vic grinned, "it will teach you not to run anymore."

I pressed my palm against the ground and stood up, balancing my unharmed legs. After I became as stable as possible, I tried to help him but it turned out to be difficult. The wound on my leg was burning but I tried to ignore it and doubled my efforts. Vic laughed at our awkward efforts, started walking away and then said from over his shoulder, "take them back to base, I have a gift planned for them."

The guards came forward, grabbed our one hand and dragged us towards the van. From where we stand, it's not far away. We were already on the verge of escaping, too close, so the situation grew even more miserable. For a moment, I believed that, that we could get out of here but all my hopes were shattered when the bullet hit my flesh and buried deeply into my feet.

Trying not to overload my wounds, I leaned on the people who were hugging me and let them lift me up. I didn't fight them, I didn't have it in me, I was in pain and exhausted. Some of the other boys were clearly not as tired as me. They are still fighting against the guards but I don't understand the point, they have us and we are not going anywhere. Nobody escapes now.

I was pushed into the van and I sat down next to Sehun. I grabbed his hand and placed it on top of his wound and squeezed it, telling him to apply pressure so that the blood would clot faster. One by one we filled the van but some of us were unwilling to follow. Outside, Kai pushes the guards as hard as he can, refusing to get into the van. He let out a blood-curdling scream as he fought against them and the despair on his face was barely animalistic.

Kai is easily defeated; fights are a waste of energy when he is outnumbered by people and weapons. Instead of taking out a taser like they did before, they took out a weapon and pointed it at him. He paused for a moment after seeing the threat but then puffed out his chest and shouted, "shoot me, I dare you!"

No one moved and he continued, "you can't kill me, I'm valuable and you need us alive." One of the guards put his weapon down and walked forward towards Kai but he did not tremble in fear. Suddenly, he punches her in the stomach right and Kai doubles up for not having ears. Patting his back, the guard sneered, "don't worry son, you won't die anytime soon. How lucky you are."

The other guards grabbed him and threw him in the van. Fortunately, we were there to soften his landing, catching him before he hit the metal floor. They slammed the door shut and vibrations echoed around me. Sound resonance is one of the finality. We're back to square one.
