Fortunately, they regularly train us in coding and hacking. So when they're not watching, we'll spend every spare moment working on solutions in our cells. Smarter people — Suho, Xiumin, and Chen will take the lead while the others help. Not long after, we found a code that worked and all one had to do was execute the plan.

From the moment they told us they would test our capabilities, we knew we could use them to our advantage. So we came up with what we thought was the perfect plan: to use Baekhyun as a distraction while Kai did the actual work.

Pretending to lose control and blinding everyone is the distraction we need. As soon as Baekhyun reached the highest light intensity he could, panic from vision loss began to surge through the crowd of supervisors. While the guards quarrel, he focuses his laser beam onto Kai's collar, frying the circuit and temporarily disabling it. At the end of Baekhyun's fake shout, which acts as a signal, Kai teleports to the control room.

I assume he easily took out some of the operators stationed there and managed to hack the system, entering our code. We all have the task of keeping out distractions and avoiding suspicion as long as Kai leaves. All while we gathered and waited for him to return.

After he teleported back to the training room, where the chaos is still happening, we only have one more step to solve it. However, our chance of escape had disappeared when a dagger was embedded in Kai's chest.

Now everything is uncertainty. Sure, we have 'Plan B' but it depends entirely on winning this battle. We have to win.

Anxiety flashed around me and worry penetrated my mind. Against the way we got out of here is one thing but Kai's injury is just another obstacle. The wound in the chest that was so close to his heart didn't seem easy to repair and we didn't have time for a setback, but we wouldn't go without it either, that's for sure.

So, we should take the time for this delay and deal with the dire situation as best we can. From the beginning, I knew it wasn't going to be easy and none of us expected it.

Best case scenario: we'll teleport across the country now. However, we know no one has ever made it that simple, so we have prepared for the worst-case scenario. Where the blood will spill — ours or theirs.

When I turned around, I was happy to see Baekhyun, Sehun and Kyungsoo had formed a protective barrier around the two. Kai was currently lying on the ground, lying in a pool of his own blood and it looked like a crime scene. Lay had opened his training jersey, enough for the horrific wound to come to light.

During the experiment, they would burn me and burn me, leaving 3 degree burns all over my body every day. Fortunately, Lay was always there to repair my charred skin and heal the wound so that the scar did not form.

Although he could not heal the pain of the horrors he faced, he washed away the physical torment inflicted on my body, clearing away the residue and evidence of the cruelty forced upon me. And I will forever be grateful.

Lay did the same for Kai, patching him up, as he crouched over his body with both hands covering the wound and intense focus written on his face. While violence and chaos besieged them and others fended off the attackers, ensuring there would be no disruption to the healing process.

Distractions can be costly; a single wrong move can cause adverse effects and cause more pain than a wound. It took longer to undo the mistake and Lay had to start all over again. So we have to do everything in our power to make sure that doesn't happen.

Even if Kai's wounds fully recovered, I don't think he would be able to make the initial jump we planned, especially with the weight of the other eight. He will be too weak and I am sure his energy and strength level will be drained. So now, our main focus is to heal him so that he can support and maybe even defend himself for the rest of our escape.

Suddenly, I fell to the ground. I have lost concentration and I don't see an attacker attacking in my direction from by the blindside. I landed hard outside the training mat but fortunately, I had braced my body into a protective position before I fell.

Taking advantage of my predicament, the guard had held both of my hands, pinning my body to the ground. She started screaming for help while her face flushed red from the struggle holding me back. He won't be able to last much longer, I'm too strong and he knows it.

More men piled on top of me, grabbing onto my limbs and restricting every possible movement. I ran out of options, I had to take the hard road back then and it would be ugly. From this close contact, if I turn on, it means instant death for my attacker. That's what I'm trying to avoid.

Just as I was about to fry it, someone hit me with a tazerbaton, right in the stomach. The flame within me subsided as I gasped in pain under the body mass holding me back. I wanted to curl up from the pain but I couldn't because my limbs were pulled and clamped. To say I'm in a vulnerable position is a statement this year. Oh, my God, this is bad.
