(MM&GL) CHAPTER 12. Felix.

Who would not be surprised to see someone who had died suddenly sitting in front of him. Felix went backwards in shock. He looked back at Joana's face fixedly, then he realized that their faces were not the same, just similar at a glance.

"What is this, bro? Who's this girl?" felix asked, refocusing his eyes on Devan.

"He's Mega" Devan said briefly.

"What crazy? Mega died two years ago, who is she?" Felix asked again with his serious face.

"Don't be stupid, Felix. I told you he was, Mega," Devan said with a small snort.

Felix shook his head in disbelief. "It's just you who's stupid, he's not, Mega. But other people are just similar to Mega" Felix said.

Devan hissed exasperatedly, he glanced at Joana who seemed to be listening to them seriously.

"Then, what's your problem? You didn't come here to comment on my life let alone interfere in my affairs" Devan said.

"If it's about Mega, I have to interfere. How can you easily replace Mega with someone else? I don't accept, for me Mega is just one, and she's dead." Felix does not accept if Devan decides arbitrarily.

It didn't matter what, but since childhood the three of them had gotten used to being together. He really knows how his obsession Devan to Mega, especially after Mega died, Devan is becoming more and more so.

Devan was silent for a moment, he gave Ken a gesture to wait for a while.

"Felix, I'll meet for a minute. You talk to Mega, you haven't seen each other in a long time" Devan said.

"Devs." Felix shook his head, concerned about his friend's extremely chaotic mentality.

"Calm down, the terms are still the same. Don't look at him for too long, I can make you lose your eyes later" Devan said patting his best friend's arm hard.

"Oh shitttt! You never change!" as if Felix was holding his hot arm for a moment.

Devan pulled the corner of his lips, he approached Joana who had been silent since. He held the woman's arm gently.

"I'll meet for a while, it's okay 'm I staying?" devan.

"Ehm, should I just go home?" joana said, feeling uncomfortable with strangers.

"You'll come home later, with me. Now here first, just tell me what you want, Ken will give it to you later. If you get bored, just come to the meeting room," said Devan, will not let Joana escape from his supervision in the slightest.

"I don't need anything .. I just need you to let me go" said Joana briefly, of course her last words were only in the heart.

"Sounds like you know Devan so well?" ask Joana.

"Oh, you've been friends since childhood. Worth it, it seems like Devan loves Mega a lot," said Joana, silently watching every slightest change in Felix's face.

"Hmm, they should be married. Too bad they were in an accident." Felix could not cover his sad face.

Joana was silent, indeed the most painful parting was separation due to death. Want as long as we are with that person, they will never be able to meet except in life after death.

"Oh yeah, what's your name? And how did you get stuck with Devan?" felix asked with a curious face.

Felix is concerned, somehow what misfortune makes a sweet woman like Joana stuck with a man like Devan.

Felix took a deep breath. "Maybe he regretted not being able to give his best for Mega" Felix said, looking distant.

"What does that mean? Doesn't Devan love Mega so much?" joana asked, getting curious.

"Everybody can love, but not everyone can understand what is called love. Devan only knows that Mega always obeys him and always accepts whatever he gives. But that may not be what Mega wants. What you are feeling right now, just like Mega used to feel, is like an empty shell running without life. That was also the reason for choosing to go ...." Felix rubbed his face rough as he said that.

"The reason for choosing to leave?" Joanna raised her eyes.

'What does that mean? The reason for choosing to leave? Do you mean Mega deliberately killed herself on the grounds of the accident?'

Felix straightened his body when he heard Joana's words. He looked at the woman with his serious face.

"No, because of my own stupidity I became like this" said Joana increasingly smiling wryly.

"I'm sorry, but I heard I could do therapy to walk," Felix said looking at Joana with a frown, apparently pitying the woman in front of him.

"Can, should be. But you know for yourself, Devan will never allow me. If I could walk, she would think that I would run away" Joana said with a miserable laugh.

Felix was just silent, he was even more sorry for Joana. He guessed what Devan had done to the woman.

"You're not laughing? Everyone must be laughing at this pitiful me. But I realized, it might as well be karma for me," said Joana still with a bland laugh.

"Why should you laugh? At least if it can't help I'll shut up. Laughing at others, not necessarily if my life is better than her," Felix said with a flat face.

"Well, too bad, I thought you'd help me. By the way, my name is Joana. But you better call me Mega so your best friend doesn't get mad" Joana said.

"I can help you" Felix said with a serious face.

"Huh?" Joana immediately stiffened, she looked at Felix with a look of surprise. "Are you seriously gonna help me, Felix?" ask again.

"I'm bis-"

"Will help what?"
