(MM&GL) CHAPTER 52. Worst News.

"Miss Mega died in an accident while getting married to Mr. Devan."

Tita finally answered after a long time, the woman felt lost when talking about Mega because they were very close.

"Accident? He brought his own car?" Joanna asked back.

Looking at Devan's very possessive style it is certainly very surprising to let Mega go alone. After all, at that time their position will be married, of course they should go to the wedding venue together.

"For that I don't know, Miss. But at that time Miss Mega was ushered in by Ken and their car was in an accident due to an attack from Mr. Devan's enemy" Tita explained.

"So the news is true? Where's Joana now?" Felix seemed to immediately limp as soon as he heard Tita's words.

"What news, sir?" ask Tita.

Felix glanced at Tita at a glance, and then gave the gesture to the woman to follow her into the employees' room. There is a large TV that is usually used by employees to rest. Felix turned it on immediately.

"Breaking News! Attempts to capture a high-ranking fugitive Devandra Dawson wreak havoc that claimed many lives. The fire was very large and many people were trapped in it, including Devandra's own figure who had not come out of the place."

"Two combined police platoons failed to catch the fugitive (DD) and caused a massive fire that took a heavy toll."

"The old port that witnessed the killing of dozens of police and a drug dealer (DD). The whole place is burning and dozens of people are grilled in it."

Tita closed her mouth in shock, she looked at Felix with a look of disbelief mixed with sadness.

"Mr Devan?" ask her with a trembling voice.

"I just want to tell you, don't let Joana see this news. Make sure he doesn't hear any news and don't let him out of the house. Do you understand?" felix's Order.

Tita nodded quickly, still too shocked by the news she heard. Moreover, he remembered that the fire that was burning was very large. That place will be gone in an instant.

"I'll find out everything, right now Devan's enemies are everywhere. Don't let them use this opportunity to take Devan's power. You understand what I mean, don't you?" felix said again.

"Yes, Sir. I'll take care of Miss Joana" said Tita again nodding her head.

"Good, remember my message. Do not let Joana know this news," Felix said with a very, very serious face.

Felix and Tita are shocked when they hear Joana's voice. They immediately turned their heads simultaneously and were shocked to see Joana standing not far from them.

"Joanna!"

"What news can I not know?" joana asked looking at Felix and Tita suspiciously.

"No news, you better take a break, it's night." Felix hurriedly comes to Joana and gives Tita a code to turn off the television channel that is still on.

But it was too late because Joana had already seen the news. He suddenly looked and his world seemed to stop.

"From the reports we got, Devandra Dawson is still trapped inside and certainly will not survive."

The news sounded very loud in Joana's ear, but she was so confused. He only remembered the words about Devan's name and the blazing flames were so great.

"Devan, it's not my Devan, is it?" Joana asked like a fool, she looked at Felix and Tita alternately as if asking for an explanation to the two of them.

"Joana, this news is wrong. You don't have to think about it. Come on, I'll take you to the room, it's late, it's not good for your health" Felix said, grabbing Joana immediately, not wanting the woman to get hit hard if she saw the more painful news.

"NO!" Joana immediately shouted and muttered. "Tell me that's not Devan! Devan must have survived and he's alive. He said he would marry me tomorrow" Joana said hysterically, unable to accept this excruciatingly painful reality.

Felix nibbled his lips, feeling very sick to see Joana like this. "Joana, don't be like this. Come on, get some rest, you must be tired," said Felix again grabbing Joana.

But Joana pushed him violently. He looked at Felix with a look of anger and he suddenly pulled the collar of Felix's shirt.

"You! You must have planned this! Yes, you must be the one who became Devan's enemy. Pretend good and you set him up! Aye, right? You must be the one!" joana shouted looking at Felix full of anger.

Joana tries to summarize everything, from Felix's invitation to ask him to betray Devan and coupled with Tita's story, making Joana feel that this Felix is the person who actually became Devan's enemy.

"Joana, what are you saying? I wouldn't do that to my best friend. I'm also surprised by this news" Felix argued.

"Liar! You're a liar Felix, you've framed Devan and will take advantage of this. You liar!" Joana is getting hysterical, he beat Felix blindly while crying hysterically.

"Give Devan back! He must be alive! Return her!" joana shouted again with her hands unceasingly beating Felix.

"Joana, awake! I'm here for you!" Felix yelled and grabbed Joana's hands to stop beating her.

Joana cries more and more, he pulls her hand violently but Felix hugs her.

"Take me off!" scream Joana.

"I know how you feel, get angry as much as you want. I beg you not to hurt yourself, if indeed he is alive, he will definitely come back, I also hope for that," Felix continued to hug Joana despite the woman's rebellion.

Joana suddenly stopped fighting and cried. His body suddenly grew weak, remembering the news he had just heard. The worst news Joana will never forget.

"Devan must be alive, he's alive. She promised to marry me," said Joana in such a small voice, but slowly her voice disappeared as her suddenly slumped body fell to the floor.

"Joanna!" Felix shouted in surprise, he immediately held Joana's waist and took her to a long sofa and laid Joana there.

"Tita, please get some wind oil" Felix said.

Felix rubbed Joana's cold hands, her face so pale with tears still flowing. Felix feels very sorry for this woman, why should he be stuck with a complicated relationship with a Devan who has many enemies?

'Destiny is funny, why should he find you first? Why not me?'
