(MM&GL) CHAPTER 44. Devan Vs Felix's.

"Dev, I'd like to talk to Felix for a minute."

When Joana was outside the room, she suddenly stopped her almost the same steps in the car. He has to say thank you very much because Felix is willing to help him like this. Even without Joana asking, Felix already knows what Joana needs.

"You underestimated me?" sergeant Devan without waiting for Joana to finish her speech, her angry face is now increasingly visible.

Joana bit her lips, she held Devan's hand to calm the man down, but suddenly Devan grabbed his nape and kissed him very hot.

"You are so beautiful today" said Devan, stroking Joana's soft lips wet from her actions.

"Don't you see this in a public place?" joana brushed off Devan's hand, he was not that crazy kissing in public especially at a police station like that.

"Ehem." Felix cleared his throat loudly as he arrived beside the two of them.

Devan straightened his body, he immediately embraced Joana's waist so possessively and deliberately wanted to heat Felix up.

"Felix, I thank you" said Joana.

"It doesn't need to be like that, Joana. Devan and I have been friends since we were kids" Felix said.

"Is it done? I want to bring my future wife home. After this I hope that you will no longer meet secretly behind my back," Devan said with his regretful hiss, staring at the two with a murderous glare.

"Don't be so prejudiced, Dev. I don't mean anything, I want to help you" Felix said.

"I hope that's your goal, indeed" Devan said with a lazy expression.

"Dev" said Joana, pulling Devan's hand and glaring at him, the man was too disrespectful to Felix who in fact was the one who had helped him out.

"Why? Want to go home now? Get in the car first, there's something I need to talk to him about" Devan pointed to Felix with his chin.

"What talk?" Joana looked at Devan curiously.

"Joana, I really don't like it when my orders are denied. Can you just say it to me this time?" devan said, spreading his aura that threatens Joana.

Joana looked doubtful, she looked at Felix worriedly. This Devan is an unpredictable person, it could be that Devan is doing something beyond human reason. Or maybe he'll come back to make a fuss.

"I'm gonna stay here, don't you say I deserve to know anything you know?" chirp Joana with her stubborn attitude.

"Joanna." Devan groaned low, he looked at Joana getting sharper and shiny. I don't like the way Joana denied it.

Joana still wanted to protest, but seeing Devan's very sharp eyes made her guts too. Maybe this time he had to give up first, and getting back in the car was the right choice.

"Alright, I'll go to the car first," said Joana.

Devan just nodded without saying anything. But Joana just tugging at his clothes so that makes Devan confused.

"What's wrong?" ask Devan.

Joana smiled faintly, then brought herself closer to Devan and stepped on her to whisper in the man's ear. "You know why I like you? Because your face is so cold and annoying. I don't promise to stop loving you if you keep putting on a face like that" said Joana.

Devan's lips automatically lifted to light up his thin smile. He wanted to say something but Joana had already moved away while twisting one eye.

'He really is, watch out later.'

Devan was so anxious to see Joana's behavior which he thought was very pleasant. Honest woman and what it is. Joana did not hesitate to say whatever was in her heart. It was able to make Devan who was so upset suddenly forget his frustration.

"Dev, what do you want to say? My time is not much," Felix's sergeant began to be upset also long ago to see the intimacy of Devan and Joana.

"Oh, I just wanted to tell you. Stop getting close to Joana, we're getting married soon" Devan said, focusing on Felix.

"Will get married, right? Not necessarily it will happen. He could be like Mega first" Felix said.

"What do you mean say that?" Devan looked at Felix so dislikeingly, as if Felix had said that he and Joana would never be able to unite.

"Nothing, I just feel sorry for him. If you continue like this, you will only break your heart if at any time the police or your enemies attack you. Stop, Dev, there's still plenty of time and start a new life with him" Felix said.

"It's not really about me, Felix. But about you. I wonder why you have been so busy taking care of my makeup? What exactly did you expect?" sembur Devan, want to learn from the past where Mega actually prefers Felix to be a place to share grievances.

"Not really, but they came to me first. A woman will not come if she is not really comfortable with a man. Maybe that's how Mega used to feel about me, but she still loves you, Dev." Felix shook his head, refuting the implicit accusation.

"really? Aren't you the one looking for an opportunity to approach them when I'm not around? Is that right, Felix? If so, I will reiterate it to you. Try repeating the same thing by seducing Joana to be on your side, I'm sure you won't be able to do it" Devan said pulling the corners of his lips into a sly smile.

Felix laughed. "You're like a kid yesterday afternoon who was taking me on a bet, Dev. But this is so interesting, is it true Joana as you say?" felix was still laughing.

"I believe him." Devan answered without any doubt.

Felix further developed his smile, he walked up to Devan and patted his shoulder slowly.

"A very good choice. We'll see who wins" Felix said.

Devan clenched his hand, he brusquely brushed Felix's hand away. "Stop expecting him, if you get close to him, I'll kill you myself with my hands" Devan threatened.

"Don't you say you're sure?" Felix turned Devan's words around with a sarcastic tone so that the man could not say anything.

"Please take good care of what you have right now, Dev. The world is always spinning, not forever we will always be on top. Maybe today you can win, but tomorrow? Not necessarily," continued Felix squinted his eyes while commenting on an unusual smile.

Devan grumbled slowly, it seems now he was more convinced if this Felix had started to go off the path that he had been embraced. Devan used to be very stupid for believing him too much. But now he won't do the same.

'One thought Felix would dare to touch Joana, he would definitely completely take his life.'
