(MM&GL) CHAPTER 28. Escape But Get Stuck.

I don't know who fired the shot, but suddenly the lights in the room went out making everyone surprised including Devan himself. He turned his eyes towards Joana. But moments later his hand was pulled by someone to the back.

Devan was more surprised, he revolted by beating up the person who had pulled him, but the person still chuckled to take him away from the place. Devan is certainly very furious, he has not brought Joana, why was he taken away.

"Suckers! Who are you!" devan yelled at the man's stomach and prepared to attack him.

"Sir, it's me, Ken."

Devan's previously tense shoulders immediately limp to hear Ken's voice. But he is still angry and intends to return to pick up Joana.

"Basic stupid! Why did you take me away and leave Mega?" hardik Devan with all his emotions, there was very dark, so Devan could see clearly Ken's face.

"Master, it's you who they're after. We have to go now before they get, you." Ken immediately explained the situation that was happening right now was really complicated.

Devan gritted his teeth, he knew what Ken meant. If he were to be caught, it would be even more difficult because the policeman must have planned a lot for him. But should he sacrifice Joana?

The sound of warning shots rang out again, the lights in the room also seemed to want to light up. With a very heavy heart Devan finally immediately ran away from the place with Ken. Maybe now he has to step back first, he will take care of Joana when himself is safe.

Devan ran to the side of the house, the atmosphere was still dark making it easier for him to get out of the house without the knowledge of the police.

He went into the dark forests and into the sea. There was already a ship ready to transport them but they both had to swim first because the location of the ship was quite far away, which was clearly visible to the police.

The sound of water ripples that were quite loud was heard, but after that it was silent because Devan and Ken had already dived. They were safe from the police because the police thought Devan was still inside.

Joana clasped her own hand very firmly. He was surrounded by three police officers who were ready to interrogate him in the cramped room. The lights of the room were dim to make the atmosphere even more creepy for Joana. This was also the first time he had entered a prison and a room like that.

"What's your name?" asked Rendra with a very emotional face.

Not only is Rendra the emotion, but all the police from the drug satras are certainly very angry. Plans that have been arranged for months actually failed just because of one shot that made Devan able to escape.

Joana just kept quiet, she was really scared right now. His body was trembling and his face was pale. If she could cry, she would not change anything.

"Joanna." Joana reflex immediately replied, surprised by the voice of the police, he felt his eardrum like it wanted to tear because of the loud cusp of the police voice.

"Still want to keep lying? What's your real name?" ask Rendra again.

Rendra had seen a site about Joana's data called Mega that had just been obtained by his men.

Joana shook her head. "That's my name, Joana," said Joana to be honest.

"Shitt!" The police behind Joana were angry. He pulled Joana's arm violently and right on her injured arm.

"It hurts," said Joana grimacing in pain.

Joana's still grimacing, she really doesn't know anything about Devan. He has only known the man for the last 2 months.

"Fajar, stop. Let him go" Rendra said.

"Let go what? This woman was clearly taught by Devan to lie to all of us. He is as crafty as his lover," said Fajar still emotion because their plan failed miserably.

Rendra let out a long sigh, he looked at Joana fixedly. From the look of his eyes and gurgles, he can judge that Joana is not pretending and is doing gimic as a person who is afraid. But the woman was terrified.

"We asked carefully. Your answer could keep you safe. Devandra is a dangerous person, being her ally will get you nothing but destruction. So, now just say it. What do you know about Devandra?" Rendra tried to ask gently for Joana to speak.

Joana was just shaking. What should he answer? He doesn't know about the drug and gun trafficking Devan does. Devan was the leader of the company and it was legal.

"It's no use! This woman must be forced to speak." The dawn that had been very emotional had suddenly pulled Joana's hand violently until she fell down because of her weak legs.

"Akhhhhhh!"

"Borch! What the fuck are you? Don't act over the line!" hardik Rendra was finally provoked to also see the Dawn that was too emotional.

"I wouldn't be like this if this woman wanted to talk. Why don't we do the same thing with the delinquents to get them talking?" Dawn grinned as she looked at Joana so emotionally.

"Don't mess around. She's Devandra's woman, if you know you've hurt her, just say goodbye to us" said another policeman who also served in the room.

"Curtain, we're cops, why should we be afraid of him? I'll take him there." Dawn ignored the words of his friend, he pulled Joana's hand to get the woman to stand.

Joana who is too worried about Devan actually makes a big mistake by coming out of her hiding place. Now he had to endure the mistakes he had made himself.
