(MM&GL) CHAPTER 14. The Streets With Felix.

Joana still enjoys her breakfast before she goes for a walk. Actually still a little strange, how could Devan who last night acted like a demon the next morning even told him to leave the house. Though usually the man does not allow Joana to leave, except with Devan.

On the sidelines of his meal, Felix suddenly came to make Joana a little surprised. The woman looked at Felix with a surprised face that was not covered.

"Good morning, Miss Mega. Finish your breakfast, then we'll go out" as Felix walked up to Joana, taking a seat next to the woman.

"Are you seriously gonna take me away?" Joana makes sure again, he does not want if later he will again be a tantrum Devan.

"Just calm down, Devan has allowed me. He said he would be very busy in the office. So he asked me to take you away" Felix said casually.

Joana nodded briefly, she immediately finished the salad that was very difficult she swallowed because she did not like it. Then drink it he drank strawberry juice that tastes very acidic, making it frown because of acidity.

"Why drink it if you don't like it?" asked Felix, astonished to see Joana who was like forcing herself.

"Devan said I should be Mega, from what I read, Mega likes breakfast salads and strawberry juice" Joana explained.

"That if there's Devan, now you're with me. Be yourself, don't push yourself too much" Felix said, getting more sorry for the woman in front of him.

Joana immediately glanced around her, where a lot of Devan's men and servants were staring at her. It made her guts shrink.

Felix followed Joana's gaze, he let out a long sigh, as if knowing what the woman was feeling.

"Have you finished breakfast? Let's go when we do," Felix said.

"Well, where are we going?" joana asked curiously.

"Wherever, today just do what you want to do" Felix said, rising from his seat.

"Let me help," he continued, wanting to help Joana sit in her wheelchair.

"No need, let Tita alone." Joana raised her hand up as a sign of rejection.

"Tita, please help me," she asked Tita, who was always with her.

"Good, Miss."

Tita deftly helps Joana to sit in her wheelchair. It made Felix laugh a little, only the first time there is a person who rejects himself clearly like that. Though previously there has never been a woman who rejects her charms other than Joana.

"I'm ready, I'm ready" said Joana.

"Well, we'll go now so that it's not too late. It will be hot" said Felix.

"Tita's coming with us, isn't she?" Before she actually leaves, Joana makes sure that she will be safe.

Felix smiled a little. "Must come, because that's the requirement that the jealous Master gives" Felix slurs.

Joana nodded, smiling at Felix to Devan. The man was acutely jealous and grumpy.

The three of them then set off towards the place Felix meant. They not only go three, but with dozens of Devan men who are ready to escort wherever Joana goes. Their motorcade was like a presidential car escorted by the Paspampres.

Joana is not surprised to see it all, Devan is a calculating person. The man must have predicted that this opportunity might just be Joana used as a time to escape.

Along the way it is only filled with silence, both Joana and Felix prefer silence with their respective minds.

Until finally they passed the city square that was celebrating the performance of art so that the streets were quite jammed.

"What's the show inside?" ask Joana.

"Today is the birthday of the city, the Governor is holding an art show and also a bazaar" replied Tita.

"Gee, it must be very crowded there," said Joana, remembering that she often went to events like this with Stella and Xander.

But all that is just a memory.

"You going there?" Felix tries to understand what Joana wants.

Joana nodded as she looked at Felix wistfully. "Can I?" joana asked very much hope to see the art show.

Tita nodded her head in agreement, the woman had worked with Devan for a long time, so she also knew about Felix. From the beginning only Felix was trusted by Devan to keep Mega if the man did not exist.

"Let's go inside, Devan has allowed us" Felix told Joana.

Joana develops her smile, finally today she can really enjoy her time with the help of Felix. On the show Joana wants to be herself as a freedom-loving Joana. Not as Mega whose life is all set.

His wheelchair was pushed by Felix into the very crowded square area. All the residents of the city seemed to spill there, enjoying the time to watch the event which was only held once a year.

The center of the event was in the middle of the square area, making them have to rotate quite far from the place.

"Well, there's a fashion show too!" Joana exclaimed as soon as she saw the fashion show that has now been held at the event.

Some top models appear to walk on the catwalk using Indonesian clothing that has been designed so beautifully.

Seeing that Joana was silent, he remembered that he could also stand there. Walk confidently with her beautiful long legs. Making everyone's eyes look at him with admiration. But what a pity, now he can only see all that, without being able to be a part of them.

"Why?" felix asked as if he understood the change in Joana's face.

"It's okay, the clothes are nice. It's also crowded here" said Joana, smiling to cover up her feelings.

"Well, I hear you like to paint. Want to see a painting over there?" Felix pointed to the painting exhibition area on the other side of the square.

"Can." Joana just complied, her mood suddenly deteriorated just from seeing this.

For others, it may all be normal, but for Joana it is a very painful thing. Where once was the thing he had and could do, now it just became something to be remembered.

Now they turn to the painting exhibition, Felix is apparently also very fond of painting, the man invites Joana to talk about which painting he thinks is the best. At a glance, everything is good, but all paintings must have their own meaning.

"This painting is very good, the painter is very detailed. It might just look like a tree, but the painter added a little touch to it. Its roots intertwine with each other, indicating that a relationship must have strong roots, which interweave into one so that the feeling is firm and timeless. The tree may be uprooted, but not with the roots" Joana explained in great detail the meaning of the painting Felix wanted to buy, he was not a reliable artist, but he was not, but he felt that was what the painter wanted to convey.

"All right, I'll just buy this painting. How much?" Felix immediately bought the painting.

After saying the price, Felix's assistant immediately paid for it and they resumed their journey. This time Joana invites Felix to see the exhibition of pets. Joana wants to have friends while at home so that she does not get bored because she likes animals, especially cats.

"So, Devan's not mad if I buy a cat?" ask Joana.

"Where is it possible? Devan won't be angry, if you keep Daddy's sugar he's angry" Felix joked.

"Oh." Joana sneered while glancing lazily at Felix.

"Hahaha, that's his face. You can buy a cat. Devan will not be angry," said Felix calm Joana's anger.

"If Devan is angry, you are responsible" said Joana looking at Felix seriously.

"Hahaha, it's great to want to use me as a shield, huh? It sucks" said Felix.

"And you said you could" said Joana, this time her face turned sullen.

"All right, all right, I'll take responsibility later. Just choose which cat you want. I'll take a call for a second" Felix reflex stroked Joana's hair.

Joana gasped, she looked at Felix who was immediately wrong.

"Sorry, I'm going first." Felix scratched his non-itchy head before leaving.

Joana just kept quiet, she immediately invited Tita to look at the cat she was going to buy. He did not want to bother with Felix's behavior earlier, maybe the man was just accidentally because he considered it Mega.

As Joana looked around, her net accidentally caught the image of a man now laughing happily with a woman. Seeing that unknowingly Joana's hands clenched tightly.
