(MM&GL) CHAPTER 30. Freer.

Felix went into the room, behind him was a lawyer he had brought to free Joana. He looked at Joana.

His face was still bandaged, but he insisted on coming when he heard from his men about Devan's raid. But what led him to come was not that, but when he found out that Joana was caught because Devan left her there.

Felix then turned his eyes towards Rendra.

"Take him off, my lawyer has taken care of everything" Felix said in a very calm voice.

"Can't! He's at that location with Devan and we're investigating the case. He's a key witness, can't leave before he's proven innocent" Rendra said with all his emotions, how could he possibly be as easy as freeing Joana?

Felix smiled faintly, he put both his hands in his pants pocket. "Well, I know what you're waiting for" Felix said, sitting quietly beside Joana.

Rendra clenched her hands, eager to get angry but she just kept silent with eyes that were relentlessly glancing towards Joana.

"How are you doing? Are you hurt?" felix asked, he held Joana's arm gently.

Joana immediately dodged, she nodded slowly. "I'm fine" said Joana briefly.

Felix pulled his hand back, he poked his lips without saying anything. Currently he is only waiting for a report about fingerprints being examined by the police. He hoped that Joana wasn't the culprit.

Not until 10 minutes, Rendra's phone rang again, making the tension in the room increase. Felix himself immediately glanced at his lawyer and the man nodded.

"I think the answer has been found. Joana's innocent, she could be free today." Felix got up from his seat.

Joana raised her eyes, she looked at Felix in disbelief. That fast Felix released him? What has that man done?

"Come, no one will forbid you from leaving this place. You're innocent" Felix said, extending his hand to Joana.

Joana was confused, she glanced at her own feet.

"Oh, a minute." Felix nodded in understanding, he immediately picked up his phone and contacted someone.

"Yes, just bring it in. Miss Joana needs it" Felix said on the phone and turned it off again.

Joana doesn't want to ask, but moments later Felix's assistant comes with crutches for Joana.

"Wear this try, I think you can already do it" Felix said with a sweet smile.

Joana smiled a little, she nodded her head in agreement and tried to stand up with the help of Felix. The man was very close to her, so Joana could see her face very clearly. But he felt nothing, instead feeling uncomfortable as Felix touched his waist.

"Your hands" said Joana.

"Oh, sorry." Felix flinched, he immediately distanced his hand from Joana's body while commenting on a gloating smile.

"I think this problem is over. My client has been found not guilty. We're leaving now" Felix's lawyer told the angry but powerless policemen.

Felix smiled faintly, he immediately invited Joana to leave the place. He accompanied the woman to step slowly because Joana had enough trouble using crutches.

"Do I need to carry you?" goda Felix looks at Joana's sweaty face.

"No no, I can do it. If I don't endure the pain, I won't heal" Joana shakes her head quickly.

"That's a good spirit, Joana. I'm sure you'll be able to walk soon. Spirit," said Felix made a movement clenched his hands up to give spirit to Joana.

Joana smiled faintly, This Felix is a person who has a positive aura. The man can make people infected with his smile and his hospitality. He is also good at getting along and is very able to position himself.

The two of them then walked slowly towards the exit of the police station. Felix kept Joana behind him, afraid that she would fall.

However, before reaching the door, Dawn who saw Joana coming out immediately looked angry, he rushed to Joana and blocked his steps.

"Hey! Who let you out?" snapped Dawn while pointing at Joana's nose.

Felix was surprised, but a moment later he immediately acted to get rid of the hand of Dawn pointing at Joana.

"Why? I picked him up, he's innocent" Felix said.

"Who are you? Do you know what? He's a very dangerous man, you better not interfere. And for you, let's go back, " said Fajar to drag Joana but Felix quickly brushed his hand away.

"Don't try touching it if you don't want to break a bone. Before you do anything, make sure what you do is right" Felix said furiously.

"Hotman, tell this cop who Joana is" Felix told his lawyer.

Without saying much, Devan's lawyer immediately showed the file a copy of Joana's freedom to Dawn so that the man read it clearly.

Dawn was shocked when she read all the contents of the file, she wanted to say something but Felix had already taken Joana away.

"Oh shitttt, what is this joke?" Dawn swearing frutations.

Dawn then rushed to Rendra who was still in the BAP room. He had to ask if Joana was really free?

"Ren, what is this drama? How can you free him?" ask Dawn with great emotion.

"What's? So her name is really Joana? And Mega?" Dawn was shocked to see the data.

"Mega was Devan's fiancee first, and she's dead" explained Rendra.

"What is the fuckkkk? Last time was Mega, you also saw his own picture, how could he die? This data must have been engineered by Devandra!" shouts Dawn.

"That's what I think. But the woman was indeed named Joana, not Mega. Devan's fiancee died two years ago!" Rendra shouted back, he even kicked the chair he had been sitting in because of emotion.

Dawn gritted her teeth, completely feeling being played by Devan. One person who is very clear behind everything but very difficult to catch.

"Then, how's that gun?" tanya Fajar looked at Rendra seriously.

"Fingerprints don't match." The answer from Rendra instantly made Dawn limp.

Felix takes Joana to his house that is no less magnificent than Devan's house. He invited the woman to sit in the middle room and asked the waiter to give her a medicine box to treat Joana's injured arm.

"How did it happen? Why are you alone there? Is Devan?" ask Felix.

"I don't know, it's so fucked up. It's not Devan's fault, it's my own. He told me to shut up, but I didn't listen to him" Joana explained.

"You're worried about her?"

Felix's question immediately makes Joana mute. He bit his lips, wanting to say yes, but why should he be worried?

"There's no need to answer if it's uncomfortable" Felix said as if he knew what Joana was thinking. "Tonight stay here first, tomorrow I will find a place to stay for you," he continued.

"The place to stay?" Joana looked at Felix in surprise.

"Yes, this is your chance to leave, right?" felix.

Felix bit his lips, he looked at Felix who still looked pale and his face was bandaged.

"Your wounds?"

"It's not a big deal to me. Devan wouldn't have acted over the line if it was with me. Believe me, I will definitely help you and I am fine" Felix said with a solemn face.

"Why so sure? Devan's a cunning man, Felix. He could even tell about the phone," Joana shook her head in disapproval.

Not not not wanting to escape, but he did not want Felix to be injured again because of him.

"Every house has CCTV. Maybe you forgot to put the phone in a place that is affordable to CCTV" Felix said.

"Is that included in the room?" Joana was surprised by herself if it was true Devan installed CCTV in the room. Isn't that so weird?

"There's a lot Devan can do. Clearly, he doesn't want you to leave his side right now" Felix said. "Joana, maybe you're new to me, but I'm writing you want to help. I can give you a safe place so Devan can't find you" she continued, clasping Joana's hand.

Joana looked at the hand, now she was confused. Devan says Felix is his best friend, but why does Felix want to betray Devan?

"I did it because of you" Felix said suddenly.

"Huh?"

"I feel sorry for you, Devan's been victimized enough all this time. I don't want to let it go any deeper, let alone involve an innocent person like you. It's enough that Mega has suffered alone" Felix said.

"If you don't want to let it slide deeper. Why don't you help him stop the arms and drugs trade?"

Devan had just finished cleaning himself, he was just about to use his shirt, but Ken hurriedly walked into his room. From the look on his face, something was wrong.

"What's wrong?" devan asked without looking.

"Miss Joana is free" said Ken.

"Who?" Devan straightened his body to hear the news.

"Mr Felix."
