The CEO

Veon is now the sole heir to the Sanjaya family. He became CEO at a very young age. Veon is endowed with a very handsome and charming face as well as a very ideal posture. His tall and sturdy body, sharp eyes, not to mention his cold attitude further adds its own charm to attract the attention of women.

But Veon is a very difficult man to fall in love with. Since he went to college until now as CEO of his papa company, there was not a single woman he introduced to his parents. Veon's youth was very different from Dion's youth.

Veon already knew everything, about his true identity. About her who is not the biological child of a mother who has been caring for and raising her all this time. About him who was born as a child that was not originally expected by his own father.

That was why Veon grew into a very cold and also stubborn man. Even so, he did not hate his parents at all, he even loved Vera who he considered to be his own mother.

Although Vera already has her own biological child who is none other than Veon's younger brother, Chelsea, she never distinguishes between the two children. His affection for him was fair to both of his children.

Both of Dion's parents died when Veon was 18. Dion's father died from complications he suffered, while Dion's mother died from an accident that hit him when he wanted to save Chelsea who was almost hit by a car.

Since then Chelsea have always locked themselves in the room because they feel very guilty for the death of his grandmother, when Chelsea was only 14 years old. Vera and Dion have been unrelenting and told Chelsea it was not his fault, but it was completely pointless. The only one who could persuade the girl was her brother Veon.

After being persuaded by Veon, Chelsea want to live out his days. Dion and Vera are very grateful to have a child like Veon, even though they have failed to educate Veon into a warm-hearted man.

Time passed until Dion fell ill. Dion had liver cancer which required him to rest and leave all his work. Dion was forced to take up all office duties with Veon, as Veon was the only son in their family.

Veon, then 23, had to take care of his family's company. Initially Veon refused because he was not ready for such a heavy task, what else is his very young age. But after being persuaded by Vera and seeing his father's condition getting worse, inevitably Veon must obey his father's request.

For three years, Veon was CEO of his father's company. Within three years, the company experienced a rapid increase. Dion did not expect his son would be more talented than he was in running their business.

But Dion doesn't know that Veon secretly takes over the company of his enemies and destroys them. Veon hides his cruel side from his family, because his cruel nature only shows to his enemies who dare to deceive and harass his company.

“Veon, Papa is proud of you. You have managed to bring our company to this success,” Dion said as he patted his son on the shoulder.

“Papa no need to worry about the company, all let Veon take care of.” 

“Papa feels the age of Papa will not be long, this disease is getting more and more gnawing Papa.” body

“Papa just need to rest, do not think of anything, that way Papa will stay healthy.” when talking to his papa Veon remain cold.

Dion shook his head, “Papa will not be able to rest in peace before seeing you get married,”.

Voen moved from his seat, “Veon had already told Papa, Veon did not want to marry,” he said and stepped out of his papa room.

Veon just shook his head and then passed away leaving his mother who was still silently staring at the door of the room. Vera took a deep breath and walked into the room. The woman sat on the edge of the bed, giving her medicine and a glass of water to her husband.

“What is it, Pa with Veon, why is his face so upset?”

Dion gave him a glass of water that only half left, “Papa asked him to marry, but Veon refused,” he said.

Vera put the glass on the table, “Papa will know Veon does not want to get married, never force him again. Papa knows how he is,” he said.

“But Papa wants to see her married before Papa dies. Papa knows if Papa's age won't be long.”

“Papa don't ever talk like that again, Mama doesn't like,” said Vera sadly.

Dion clasped his wife's hand, “Ma, that time will surely come. We also do not know until when we will live, but if Papa has to go first, Papa hope Mama will be sincere. In addition Papa has one request for Mama,” he said.

“Pa...” Vera's eyes always glazed over when her husband always talked about his age that was no longer long.

“Papa hope Mama will help Papa to persuade Veon to want to get married quickly, because that is Papa's last wish. Mama would you grant Papa's request?”

With a very heavy heart Vera nodded her head, she then hugged the body of her husband who increasingly looks thin because of the disease she suffered for years began to eat away at her husband's body.

“Thank you, Ma. Thank you Mama for forgiving all of Papa's mistakes so far and for taking care of Veon like your own child. Maybe this is the karma that Papa must accept for Papa's past mistakes,” said Dion while shaking off his smile.

“Mama would have said to Papa, do not need to bring up again about the past, because all that has passed, Pa.” 

Dion felt pain in his heart, he tried to hold it and did not show in front of his wife, “Papa is very sleepy, Papa will sleep for a while,” he said then lay down his body.

Vera nodded, she then pulled out a blanket to cover her husband's body. She got out of the room and let her husband rest.

Dion saw Vera who had closed the door, she then squeezed on the part of her body that felt so painful and tortured her all this time, “I will still survive, I will not give up before seeing my son get married. With her stubbornness, I was afraid she would never get married later,” she said while moaning in pain.
