Like a dream

Alex is currently sitting together with Betrand in one of the waiting chairs in front of the examination room where Chelsea are examined. He was waiting for the doctor who was examining Chelsea in the examination room.

Alex sat down while squeezing his fingers, he looked very panicked. It seems very clear, if Alex is very worried about his wife, he is so afraid of anything happening with the woman he loved so much all along.

Betrand who asked Vika to accompany Alex was faithfully beside his best friend. The man continued to try to calm his best friend down and said Chelsea were okay.

“Lex, relax, I'm sure Chelsea is fine.”

Alex's eyes kept staring at the door of the room that was still tightly closed, “aku.I was afraid, I did not want to until Chelsea why. I. I feel so guilty, all this time I've been lying to him. I don't want to lose Chelsea again.” The man fused his palms together to cover his face, with both of his arms resting on his thighs.

Betrand pat Alex on the shoulder, “whatever you do, I'm sure, you must have your reasons, because I'm sure, you won't make the same mistake that will hurt Chelsea again.”

Shortly after the door opened, Alex and Betrand rushed to see the doctor who had left the room.

“How's my wife doing, Doc? Is my wife okay? Why was he suddenly unconscious? what's he really sick about, Doc?” Alex asked repeatedly without giving the doctor time to answer first.

“Lex, relax, if you are like this, it is precisely you who will make Chelsea anxious later.”

The doctor shook his head, “I beg you, quiet father. Your wife is fine, Mrs Chelsea is not sick either. He was just exhausted, his mind was too stressed.”

Alex was immediately relieved when he heard that Chelsea was okay, “then why was my wife unconscious, Doc? he was still fine, but suddenly he was unconscious.”

“Meaning Doctor, my wife is currently pregnant with my child?” alex asked again, he really could not be sure what the doctor was saying, given his current condition.

“Doctors are not kidding, right? my wife is really pregnant?” Alex asked with a serious face, afraid if he just misheard and too hopeful if Chelsea really was pregnant.

“No, Sir. Your wife is pregnant right now. I guess you already know your wife's pregnancy at this time.”

Alex shook his head, “I don't know. During this time my wife and I really want to have children, but until now we have not been given offspring.”

The doctor smiled, “then I congratulate you, because soon you will become a Father, what you and your wife expect will become a reality.” The doctor then extended his hand to Alex.

Hearing what the doctor said made both corners of Alex's eyes begin to fill with clear fluid, he still could not believe what he had just heard. He did not expect, finally he could make Chelsea pregnant. His efforts have not been in vain. Alex shook the doctor's hand and thanked him.

“Then, we just wait for Mrs Chelsea to wake up, then we will do USG and ensure the development of the fetus. Then excuse me.” The doctor leaves Alex and Betrand.

Alex was still silently staring at the door of the examination room. What she just heard was good news, but she still can't believe, ‘what is Chelsea really pregnant? Has my treatment been successful all this time?’ he murmured in the heart.

Betrand pat Alex on the shoulder, “hai, why are you so dumb? Are you unhappy after hearing this very exciting news?”

Alex shook his head, “not that, but.but all this is still a dream for me.”.

Betrand then pinched Alex's arm and made the man grimace in pain, “sak right? That means it's not a dream. Better now you meet Chelsea, I'll tell Vika this good news.”

Betrand then stepped away from Alex, he could not wait to tell Vika this very exciting news. Alex gave himself to go into the treatment room, he saw Chelsea still lying unconscious in the patient's bed.

Both of Alex's eyes are now staring at the pale face of Chelsea, staring at the face of his wife who is still unconscious. The man then looked at Chelsea's flat stomach and began to gently rub it, “what am I really going to be a Dad?”

Alex has not been able to believe all this, but all this time there is no sign that Chelsea is pregnant, “what because I was too busy with the business and also Veon, so I did not pay attention to Chelsea again?”

Alex again rubbed Chelsea flat stomach and kissed Chelsea stomach, after which he switched to peeling Chelsea's forehead a bit long. Alex then took a chair not far from where he stood and placed it next to Chelsea's bed.

Alex then sat his body in the chair, then he clasped the woman's hand and kissed her, “honey, thank you. Thank you for being patient all this time. Finally our wait all this time is not in vain dear, we will soon become parents. Our home will be crowded with the cries and laughter of young children.” The man kissed the back of the woman's hand so hard, that her tears soaked the back of Chelsea's hand.

Chelsea, who felt the back of her hand wet, began to open her eyes slowly. He then held his head which felt a little dizzy. When Chelsea's eyes were fully opened. His two eyes began to adjust to the light of the lamp that was so dazzling to both eyes.

“Lex, where am I? Why am I here, instead of us accompanying Vika to give birth?” Alex helps Chelsea who want to wake up and rest his body on the back of the bed by putting a pillow behind Chelsea's back.

“So you suddenly fainted, so I brought you here. What are you feeling right now, are you still dizzy?” Alex tucked the hairdresser behind Chelsea's ear, “honey, I'm sorry. Lately I've been busy, until I've not noticed you anymore, I'm sorry.”

Chelsea shook her head, “why do you blame yourself? it's all because I can't take care of myself. Lately I was too stressed, in one year, Vika can immediately get pregnant, while I.
